Reviews for Hotel Tres Reyes

Review 1:Smell of cigarette smoke in the bedroom - possibly coming in via the air conditioning. Twice charged for drinks we didn't order in the bar.

Review 2:Long breakfast times and fair selection of breakfast foods. Bedroom comfortable and clean.

Review 3:the hotel is right next to the old part of the city wich makes it very convenience, the staff was super, and the picture windows in the rooms fantastic, see you next time in pamplona

Review 4:Friendly staff, lovely room. And the dinner in the, restaurant was simply the best! The waitress was wonderful too. Well positioned hotel. Pity we were there only one night. Will return.

Review 5:The staff were very helpful and friendly... We were walking the Camino and our room had a bathtub where we steeped our tired muscles and bones...the view from our room was georgous overlooking Pamplona and the distant hills..

Review 6:Central location. Clean modern. Cafe on side of hotel for a cheaper breakfast option. Easy to find and easy to get out of the city by car. I would use this hotel again.

Review 7:The location is great. It's close to the city center and it takes about 15 minutes in walk to the train station. Besides, there is el corte inglés near the hotel. The supermarket of el corte inglés is open until 10 p.m. so that it is very convenient for me to buy something there after a day of travel. The room is very neat and the staff is very kind and helpful. I have a great experience in this hotel.

Review 8:The price is relative high for a town like Pamplona. The breakfast lacks of cooked stuff.

Review 9:Very good position, large and clean room. Very good WiFi connection, stable in all the building.

Review 10:The evening front desk gentleman was no help at all.

Review 11:I arrived at the hotel after breaking my ankle hiking the Camino. Patricia at the front desk went above and beyond to help me get back from the ER, get crutches, and helped with my arrangements for travel back to the States.

Review 12:Nothing

Review 13:Great City Centre location . We spent two nights in this hotel. Modern comfortable room with great view over city and mountains , secure basement for parking. Good service and friendly staff. We would definitely stay here again.

Review 14:No internet connection in the room; I have to use it in the lobby; still I could hardly connect it. Different staff gave me different reasons?? I will never stay here again.

Review 15:Not much. Walls on top floor were not very substantial and creaked in the wind. Other than that it was great.

Review 16:Great hotel near old town. Garage good, great breakfast, large room.

Review 17:hotel needs a renovation we where on the 1st floor - seemed like a kids floor would have liked to been higher up like requested and was charged more (25euros) than I was quoted on booking.com for an extra child s bed

Review 18:Big rooms everything worked well good shower etc.

Review 19:Some fittings in the room and the bathroom need attention and the hair dryer did not work. Staff at reception did provide a hair dryer though.

Review 20:Great location, top upper floor rooms have a beautiful view, big beds and very clean.

Review 21:The bed was rather too small and on the hard side. The room is spacious and thus don't understand why the bed needs to be so small. Next door neighbours could be heard talking and tv as well. Shower in the badtub.

Review 22:Location is as good as it can get. Friendly reception staff speaking English very well. Great breakfast.

Review 23:The room was very bare and as a family travelling it felt like the room was a hostel dormitory. Steel bunks, very limited decoration to the room and walls that were marked and in need of a fresh paint.

Review 24:The location was excellent for the centre of town.

Review 25:Temporarily stuck in lift. No emergency lights had to use phone to find bell. Total blackness

Review 26:Central position parking of car and view from room. Staff courtious and polite

Review 27:Noise from air-conditioning system at back of hotel bedroom, when the window was open

Review 28:All inclusive evening meal was very good value and well presented. Very helpful waitress.

Review 29:Having left the hotel after one nights stay we both discovered later the next day that our bodies were covered in bites, on the advice of a Pharmacy we visited a Dr. My bites and the subsequent reaction was so severe I required an injection we were both prescribed tablets. We contacted the hotel and Booking.com who actioned a bug inspection. The report claimed there was no evidence of biting insects in our room. The position of the bites (torso, legs, arms etc) and the presentation (lines of flee type bites) and the fact we had not been anywhere else or laid anywhere else suggests otherwise. We were offered no compensation as the hotel does not accept liability.Booking keeps asking for a review so here is our honest one. Decide for yourself?

Review 30:Location

Review 31:For 4* hotel I would expect more choices for breakfast - more fruits, vegetables (anyway, breakfast was fine)

Review 32:Great location near old town center. Comfortable and spacious room with very comfortable double bed. Pool in the garden was big plus. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Review 33:Parking was a little expensive. I'd leave my bike in the bike park over the road next time.

Review 34:Comfortable if a little faded. The hotel has two things going for it. 1) Location - great for getting to the old town 2) Size - It's easy to spot when driving around Pamplona trying to locate the Hotel!

Review 35:Breakfast not included in price. Seemed like an expensive add-on (15 euros pp i think!! ) so didn't bother.

Review 36:Comfortable, clean room. Great central location for visiting the city. Lovely pool and garden.

Review 37:A great hotel, would definitely stay there again - my only queries were that a wedding party seemed to be overlooking the swimming area, and the Cafe (unless I mis-read it) said it was open Monday-Saturday. But it was closed when we arrived (Saturday), and was open on the Sunday!

Review 38:A very grand/ old hotel, but with modern features. Warm & friendly welcome received from the staff. Fantastic views from the room! - Over the parkland, city, and distant hills. A good sized room with air-con, and excellent bathroom facilities. The bed was one of the most comfy I have ever slept in! Despite the cafe being closed, we were pointed in the direction of the old town, just a few minutes walk away, which had plenty to choose from in terms of food & drink - the hotel is in a great location to explore the city.

Review 39:Lovely hotel in a great location for all that Pamplona has to offer. The pool was a welcome oasis in the height of summer and the valet parking a nice touch after a along drive. Difficult to fault this hotel so I won't even try.

Review 40:While the hotel was nice it was very expensive, feel the markup was exploiting the festival and running of bulls going on. The value was not equitable with the price.

Review 41:Room was comfortable and roomy and overall staff was friendly and helpful.

Review 42:Would prefer a firmer bed. Hair dryer would not dry hair if you had 3 hours to,spare. Needs an upgrade . Air conditioning very noisy. Nice if breakfast was included in the price.

Review 43:Quiet at night but near the action. Large room. Good views. Classy foyer and helpful staff. Good parking service.Good bathroom with great shower.

Review 44:Average hotel - not much of an ambience.

Review 45:Big room with big beds and renovated facilities despite old hotel. Clean and friendly staff. On the edge of Old Town so not too far to walk to the main sites.

Review 46:The pool wasn't open even though very hot. Believe it is opening in few days time

Review 47:Tea/coffee in room, huge bathroom, room very spacious, great location, only 10 mins walk to lovely square with bars and restaurants etc

Review 48:The hotel has a secure basement car park, but I thought €9 per motorcycle/per night was a rather expensive, particularly as they didn't occupy any of the car parking spaces.

Review 49:A modern well presented hotel with nicely appointed rooms and very helpful staff. Being next to the Old Town gave very good access to local amenities. Opt for a higher floor to enjoy views!

Review 50:Breakfast very poor, no bath robes, only 1 chair in room, pool not open ,air con not functioning properly. Not junior suite standard

Review 51:Good staff / location

Review 52:Great hotel, clean modern and comfortable. We were upgraded to a suite on arrival!! The location was brilliant for walking into the old town. Great staff, friendly and helpful.

Review 53:The hotel obviously is not the best choice for "pilgrims". I had to walk two blocks to purchase drinking water after a long day on el casino. Also there were no accomodations for washing and drying travel clothes. Shower door does not work! Great hotel for the Spanish business traveler, not an international tourist.

Review 54:We were traveling The Way and our luggage was handled efficiently.

Review 55:Excellent location, staff friendly and helpful. Had a car which they were able to assist with parking. Views from room of mountain ranges were stunning.

Review 56:I have no criticism, everything was nice.

Review 57:Large and comfortable room. Excellent location, close (on walking distance) to the old town and most interesting places to visit.

Review 58:Nothing to dislike.

Review 59:Easy to get to, parking on site, close to the city centre for restaurants etc. and they have a special arrangement with Ulzama golf club for cheap green fees. The breakfast was very good as well.

Review 60:The hotel is not the cheapest but after riding from Santander it was a very welcome treat. Great central location and comfortable beds with spacious rooms. Secure underground parking and good buffet breakfast we're added benefits

Review 61:The breakfast room was too large and impersonal - felt like a huge ball room - need a smaller space to feel warmer and more welcoming. Some of the fruit seemed a bit old. Some staff were dismissive and given the expense of the hotel that is not good enough!

Review 62:The staff particularly the charming young French gentleman at the desk who worked very hard to help us. The location excellent. Great WiFi and the room was great.

Review 63:Lack of tea and coffee making facility, in the room

Review 64:Helpful staff, good location, balanced breakfast (hot & cold), nice premises and well maintained, good solid value

Review 65:location, friendly staff...........this hotel was here in pamplona 44 yrs ago when I was the a student in Pamplona, still the best location and one of the best hotels overall in all of pamplona.......great hotel

Review 66:The Spanish people have a culture and friendliness of polished elegance. Food here in Pamplona is excellent. Hotel has been redone and was always the premier hotel in Pamplona.

Review 67:the food in the dining room was confusing. we couldn't understand if they were trying a French menu or inventing one of their own. the lobster soup was inedible.

Review 68:the staff were excellent.

Review 69:We liked the position of the hotel, we really liked the staff who were very helpful and very pleasant. The rooms were a good size too.The breakfast was excellent, lots of choice and no matter how busy it was, the staff made sure that everything was replaced.

Review 70:International Hotel but resturant closed on 30th December, nowhere to eat except bar with very limited selection. Check in Staff unhelpful and gave impression did not wish to be working. No tea/coffee making facilities in room. Parking charge.

Review 71:Doorman was excellant and helpful.

Review 72:The breakfast had a very good choice but the hot food was just warm, no hot plates.

Review 73:Room was very comfortable with lots of lights, had everything you wanted in a stay.

Review 74:The price of the breakfast did not even warrant checking it out. Exercise room is sparse - three cardio machines but no weights. There is enough room for weights in this area.

Review 75:Very spacious room. One of the more comfortable hotels we have ever visited. Smoking fast and reliable Internet.

Review 76:Wifi was poor if you stay at this hotel make sure you have a GPS to find it tucked away in pedestrian area hard to find

Review 77:Great entrance and nearby parking

Review 78:Parking was 15 Euros by valet only, the evening meal was adequate butnot great, the room was excellent

Review 79:Nothing much, apart from the size of the hotel

Review 80:Bathroom needed a deep clean and some maintenance if not yet in line for a needed refurb

Review 81:Staff friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast, although at €14 not cheap ! Valet parking (not optional) very convenient.... but at a cost of €14.50 Panoramic view from room.

Review 82:It would be better if there is a water kettle and its assesories (tea bags, coffee sachets, sugar) because it is a four star hotel.

Review 83:Location, service of car park, cleaness, big room.

Review 84:Staff sometimes slow to attend reception queries Breakfast serving area tiny relative to overall dining room, too congested

Review 85:Location to Old town centre Spacious comfortable room Very clean Stylish hotel

Review 86:Hotel bar was poorly staffed, bartender didn't know what if they had sangria or what whisky the had, seemed confused. The breakfast is overrated.

Review 87:The location was easily accessible via auto transportation. Easy walking to all sights in the area, The front desk helpful on directions and suggestions of what to see.

Review 88:It is a very large hotel and some people might find it a bit generic.

Review 89:It is located right beside the old town in Pamplona (which is very small and very easy to get around) The hotel has a nice bar and nice views out over the surrounding city/country. It is very handy for the bus stop (5 minutes walk) and train station (5 minutes in a taxi).

Review 90:Nothing.

Review 91:Parking was good. Very convenient. Hotel was very good. Staff were polite and helpful. Room was comfortable. Perfect location, easy to find and within walking distance of all the sights and restaurants. Hotel cafe around the corner where we could get a cheap breakfast.

Review 92:The pool was unavailable even though it was 32 degrees and only September 9th; that was a big disappointment as I was looking forward to using the pool and that was one of the main reasons that I booked this hotel.

Review 93:The location is good, the decor & rooms had been updated since I last stayed here. Also, the staff was friendly & helpful.

Review 94:Good attentive staff with quality facilities. Paid for parking but at overnight prices of €14 for a secure garage - no problem. Would certainly visit again.

Review 95:WiFi very hit and miss kept connecting and disconnecting over the 2 days

Review 96:Lovely pool area Very comfortable beds Fantastic location 5 min walk to bus station / to centre of town

Review 97:WiFi signal was very weak and offered intermittent connectivity. Closing times of the hotel restaurants. There should at least be one restaurant or some form of room service operating 24x7 where one can get some food if arrival at the hotel is late

Review 98:The family room was spacious and clean. Rooms were quite and well equipped.

Review 99:Ideal position of hotel, easy to sightsee, everything on the doorstep. Car parked securely and no need to use it during stay. Staff very helpful Bed very comfortable City lovely

Review 100:Helpful friendly staff. City centre location. 5 minutes walk into the old town. Valet parking. And the views form our room on the 8 th floor over the city to the mountains was brilliant.

Review 101:Across the road from the old town. Pool and sun terrace. Huge room. Spotless. Superb breakfast. Very friendly helpful staff. Easy secure parking. Excellent value for money. In a six week tour of France and Spain staying at small hotels with character, this was our only large modern hotel. It was worth it for the location. A park to walk through at the backand t he old city, which we loved, across the road at the front.

Review 102:The hotel was comfortable, bright, and clean. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The pool was perfect after our long hot day of traveling.

Review 103:Very intermittent wifi - some very unhelpful staff in the cafe & restuarant - carparking on hotel site seems to be 'reserved' for locals but luckily there are two carparks (cheaper) close by - no information in English in rooms - meals in restaurant over priced for what you get and no staff speak English (disappointing for a so called 4* hotel) - a missed opportuntiy

Review 104:A great position - so close to the town centre - fab view from the room - good bathroom

Review 105:nice location just outside the old town. wonderfull 4star luxury hotel. if you can find a good rate you will pay nothing for a perfect hotel. very confortable bads large rooms

Review 106:Disproportionate cost of breakfast per person and subsequently the absence of coffee making facilities in the room. Very high cost of potable water from the minibar.

Review 107:The excellent location, near to the old town with nearby shopping. Very good size room with good view. Comfortable stay in a quiet environment. Very good value of the coffee bar attached to the hotel.

Review 108:The hotel facilities were outdated, circa 1980s. Staff didn't speak strong English. Breakfast for 22 euro was a rip off - we went into the city and found nice places there.

Review 109:The location was great - near the old town. The swimming pool was great, because it turns out there's not much to do in Pamplona unless you're there for the running of the bulls. I'd recommend only visiting for a day trip but no longer!

Review 110:Friendly attentive staff. Good location for visiting the old town on foot and easily accessible by car. Hotel and room in good condition (everything very clean and in good working order).

Review 111:I have no complaints.

Review 112:Bed was super comfy View was amazing Staff was super helpful and spoke great English Bathroom had great amenities and nice towels. Location was primo Fridge in room Good closet and drawer space Room was large and spacious

Review 113:The hotel was in a great location - very close to the centre of the city and an easy walk down to see the running of the bulls. There were lots of options for dining nearby as well as markets and tourist attractions. Big room and great facilities all round.

Review 114:Hard bed Parking fee seemed excessive Extras added up,

Review 115:Nice breakfast, would have liked some more fresh fruit. Room good size Clealry one of the premier hotels in town

Review 116:Windows did not block out all the noise so we could still hear occasional noises from the festivities throughout the night.

Review 117:The hotel was in a great location during a very crazy week in Pamplona! Right on the fringe of the festivities; so close enough we could go back and use our own bathroom or take a break. It was very clean, comfortable, spacious, and the temperature was well-regulated.

Review 118:Parking was a bit of an issue when we arrived. We had booked parking space for our bike, but when we arrived very hot and tired there was no space. However the staff allowed us to park alongside the hotel and made no charge. Wouldn't be as easy in a car, so worth checking this out

Review 119:Location - short walk into centre, easy to find by car/bike. Bedroom was v large, spacious, v clean and comfortable.

Review 120:shower area some peeling pool area very dated Business center - not functional during our stay.

Review 121:Excellent Staff Terrific Breakfast Buffet Good location with secure parking garage.

Review 122:The price for breakfast is too high. Facilities in bathroom were a bit old and more suitable three stars hotel, than for four stars hotel.

Review 123:The staff was helpful, the bed was nice and clean.

Review 124:I was charged €45 to keep my motorcycle under cover overnight. This was the same cost as a car but I had to park the bike myself and it wasn't kept in designated parking space. I had to park it in a small space next to a door way. When I parked the bike I was never told about the cost. I really think the cost was way too expensive. It really was a bad end to an overall good stay. Also we were given two single beds when I requested a double.

Review 125:The pillows and mattresses were so comfy.

Review 126:None

Review 127:The hotel is in a walking distance to estafeta street with all the activities happens including the run of the bull . At the same time you can go back to the hotel and get a good night rest away from all the craziness afterward

Review 128:wifi was spotty - they even tried to give us a guest code and it didn't work which is a pain if you have work to do remotely.

Review 129:Great location for the festival decent price (much cheaper than other hotels in Spain, but understandable given the time period) friendly staff, very helpful

The Fine Print
