It had everything you could want including peace and tranquillity as well as a variety of things to entertain you. We asked for a sea view room to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, and we were given just that !! Perfect!

(You moved us to G105 which was lovely). NOT ENOUGH INFORMATION ON LOCAL and Majorcan attractions in the foyer. Suggest you install a large rack for local info.

Review 19：The unhelpful staff, and appalling outlook from our balcony. We had an awful view of fellow guests apartment and balcony directly opposite and it was in shade all day. Plus couldn't use the pool overlooking the beach which we had been told we could use on arrival!!

Review 23：Too many stairs. Very difficult for wheelchair access. Also some difficulty with pushchairs. I was travelling with my Mother of 87 and also my daughter who has a 18month child. There was a very long walk from where the mini bus dropped us off with our luggage. When we left it was poring of rain and once again getting our luggage up and down stairs and that hill in the rain with no help was terrible. We were all soaked through going home.

You should ban anyone being able to pre-reserve beds by putting towels on them, especially if they're not using them for hours! In Dubai nobody does this, you go to the pool and get an available bed.

Review 33：I went to check out and the girl at the counter said to me that I had abill to pay. I was totally confused and asked what it was for. She saidto hang on to which I did. She went to the computer to print the billoff but when she went to the printer she said something to her colleagueabout me and her colleague looked at me with disgust. I was totallytaken back by this and then she whispered something else and she lookedagain in disgust. I was totally taken back by this and then she cameback with a bill from the saloon bar for 13 euros for 2 drinks. Shelooked at me with eyes that said, caught you out didn't I? I askedher immediately where the saloon bar was as I had never drank or eveneaten in this place. She says to me then to hold on and by the way thewhole reception is now looking at a criminal. She then came out with abill to which she asks me; is this your signature? I said no and askedher to produce the documents that I had signed when I paid, but no shedid not. I took out my driving licence with my signature to show her butshe was not really interested as by this stage I was irish and of courseI went to the bar and stole 2 drinks. She then came back with somepaperwork and wrote something on there in Japanese I think and asked meto sign it and I did. She took the paperwork away and never even saidthanks for your time and sorry about this as I was guilty full stop fromthe start. Totally disgusted. So if you stay here, just go to the barand give any room number you like and get totally drunk as the poor guyin the room that you gave will be a criminal full stop.

Review 34：Love the place and location is fantastic.

Review 35：I wouldn't class it as a bad experience but a few things we found a bit frustrating: you have to pay for use of safe in room (we believe these should be free of charge as you are paying for the room) wifi is also chargeable in rooms which is fair enough however only only device can be used at a time on the wifi (abit annoying as you are paying for the wifi). Also the loungers around the pool are free of charge, the loungers on the beach section (a few steps down from the pool area) are not free of charge. We were under the impression that they were and were stung with a daily charge of €12 for 2 loungers and a parasol, which we believe is a bit much! They should be free of charge for hotel guests. Lastly, on one of the days we were there it was raining and we went to reception to borrow an umbrella to go down to beach bar and they looked for a €15 deposit (for an umbrella!?!?) you pay for all the extras here and I believe that after paying €640 for a studio these should be included as it would be one of the more expensive places to stay. Saying this, it was not a big problem but some suggestions for the hotel

Review 36：Location is beautiful, right on Cala Esmeralda, which I believe is one of the nicest coves in Cala D'or Restaurants near, however for stunning views and food take a trip to the Marina which is only €5 taxi ride. Food was amazing in Marina. Rooms were lovely and clean. Beds were a bit hard but that's expected in Spanish accommodation. Nightly entertainment was fab and happy hour every night after.

Review 37：Extra payment for wi-fi in the room and extra payment for safe key. It was not clear when booking whether we were booked into Azul Park or Esmeralda Park. Had we known we were booked into Azul Park it would have saved transporting heavy suitcases up and down a steep slope.

Review 44：The pool is very busy so you cannot get a sun bed unless you get up at 6:30 in the morning to reserve one. The only day we did reserve them, we came back to find our towels removed by the staff and a note left to say not to reserve sun beds. We booked a trip to the waterpark through the hotel but the coach never turned up. I would advise booking this yourself.

Review 45：The entertainment and children's club are excellent and caters for all ages. The location and views of the sandy cove and beach are beautiful. The food in the restaurant was delicious and offered fantastic choice.

All of them are reserved at 8 a.m. by the guest's towels, but they are not are there until 10-11 a.m. Bad smell from the air ventillation system in the bathroom. Uncomfortable beds in the living room. Dirty carpits on the corridors and stairs of the restaurant. Lack of free wifi in the rooms. Expensive 0,5 liter water in the restaurant.

Review 49：Perfect location. Children friendly animators and staff. Nice garden. Big terrace with enough place for sit around a table. Daily cleaning the room (except 2 days per week). Tasty meals, spicy thematic collections day by day. Special meals for the children. The restaurant gives more than the price of half pension. Good shopping market for food and beverages at the entrance open until 9.30. Very good quality of roads in Mallorca for short trips by rental car.

Review 50：a kid had an "accident" in the pool - but pool was not closed - turned us off from using the pool rest of that day. Hotel should have closed off pool until water had been circulated/cleansed. The evening entertaiment was awfully poor and amateurish - have never seen anything that bad. All playback by hotel guides who had no rytme - why bother at all.

Review 51：I liked the fact that the life guard removed the towels that were put on sunbeds to "reserve" them. This made it possible for more guests to use the pool area. Location at the beach was excellent

Review 56：The free internet is poor but we had a welcome break from social media which was nice. You can pay extra to have the internet in the entire complex bit I'm not sure what the perdonace of this is like. Having a baby we also had a pram. There are lots of steps within the hotel grounds and the hotel doesn't sccimpfTr everywhere for buggies/wheelchairs. We met a disabled person there and asked how she had found the steps and she said it was impossible to get around to the lower parts (beach) of the complex. Bare this in mind if you have any disabilities.

Review 57：Just got back from spending a week here with my family. The place is nothing short of outstanding! We had a baby with us and thus required a microwave to sterilize bottles etc, this was provided straight away for a small charge. The rooms offered all of the amenities that you would expect and the beds were comfortable. The cleanliness of the hotel could not be faulted. To say that the staff are attentive is an understatement, nothing is too much trouble. We were half board and the food was incredible. A great variety, which with kids is essential. If what you wanted for breakfast isn't there, then it doesn't exist. There is a gym and sauna on the complex if you're the type of person who wants to pump iron whilst on holiday

Review 66：Absolutely loved Majorca! Cala Esmeralda is located 50km from the airport, fairly short drive on the highway. The hotel is beautiful, clean, located right on the beach. Water is crystal clear, perfect for snorkeling with a lot of colorful fish. Small town, lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. This is an ideal location for families with children.

Too many steps - not stroller friendly, even the room corridor had a set of steps for good measure. Reception is a good walk away from where you park your car/get off bus. Kitchen is tiny with nothing provided pfor washing up like most other hotels provide. The area around the hotel is just awful sorry - really cheap tacky shops and bars, kids play parks. Wasn't how we imagined it to be at all from the pics are reviews we'd read, do this is a heads up for anyone looking for a nice area.

Review 78：It is very very old, the apartments need a serious renovation. They have fixed our apartment on so many points but very unprofessional done so that it just looks shabby now. Most annoying fact: No one from our group got what they booked. People who booked (and paid!!) a one bedroom apartment just get a studio because nothing else is available. Dot. And if nothing is available in the Esmaralda Park you just get something in the neighbour Azul Park which has a less positive rating.

Pools are clean and the beach is beautiful, secluded and well kept. Ideal for families, but just as good for couples as well. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely look at staying again when we go back to Majorca.

We don't have kids but you can see the staff running the kids club love their job and were also very good at getting the crowd going for the evening entertainment. They also made a point of approaching guests to say hello and see if they could help throughout the evening, they clearly had a good rapport with guests.

The food selection was ample and very good, the buffet restaurant was very organised. Overall very happy - only drawback was the weather in April was not ideal for swimming in the pools..would have been nice if they warmed the pools up - sunbathing was a bit choppy but I came back with a tan despite the weather.

Review 133：Only small complaints....parking for the rental car was hard. Even in the off season there were never any places to park. Charging to use the room safe and 5 euros daily for each device to use the in room WiFi was a bit much.

When we checked in we paid in advance by cash for our 3 day stay..the staff missed to enter the details on the system and we forgot to get the payment receipt..during checkout there was a different staff and we had a hassle as she could not find payment details on the system, so she had to call the other staff who was not on duty that day and to sort things out..

Review 137：I think the price of feeding was little bit high. The free wify wasn't in the apartments.

Review 139：Trying to find the place wAs a little tricky in the middle of the night. The taxi driver seemed a little lost. Also when we tried to call the hotel with the number provided it didn't work.

Review 140：The view was amazing and direct access to the beach. The rooms were clean and spacious and the food was good with lots of options

Review 141：The air conditioning in our apartment left something to be desired. Car parking could be a problem and often meant finding one's way around the one way streets to the far side of the complex in order to find a parking place.

Review 142：Apartments beautifully located around one of the prettiest coves on the east coast, with a nice sandy beach and safe swimming. Nearby coves easily accessible on foot, as if the nearby town of Cala Do'r with all its shops and restaurants. Apartments well attended each day, as were the grassy areas and gardens of the entire complex. Friendly and obliging staff.

Review 143：This was our second stay at The Esmeralda Park and we were not disappointed, The staff are very helpful and friendly, the whole experience was great. The rooms are quite large and the whole hotel is spotless. A great place for family's with children of any age. The restaurant food is very good with a nice selection. All in all a great place to stay.
