Review 1：Lovely hotel with lovely furnishings and atmosphere. We stayed here two nights for the Xmas Market; one of these was just outside the hotel and we had a lovely view of it over the square. Despite this it was very quiet. The staff at the 24 hour reception were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really exceptional (honey straight off the comb and lots of options for guests with food allergies), again with friendly staff. We arrived by train and walked from the station, it is a fair walk but there are buses and taxis.

Review 2：This is an older hotel with so much potential, but it is very run down and not maintained. On the floor we stayed on the floors in the hallways just had carpet padding duct taped together with no carpet at all and the air conditioning did not work on our room. The whole hotel also smelled very heavily of smoke. Compared to all of my travels, this hotel is not even close to a 4-star hotel. More like a 2 1/2 star hotel. With a little bit of maintenance and updating this hotel has a lot of potential though.

Review 3：This is an old hotel with a great location, but the facilities seem run down and not maintained. The staff seemed very nice and eager to help.

Review 8：The hotel is right in Neuer platz and we had 2 rooms overlooking the main square, parking is just outside in the underground lot. the hotel is on the 3rd floor of an old charming building, and the rooms are of an era long gone with antique furnishings. We loved our stay. The room rate also included breakfast which of good standard.

Review 17：The street level gives no indication of this splendid hotel, since it houses a shop. The Lobby is one floor upstairs. Except for breakfast, no meals are available in the hotel, but there are numerous restaurants nearby.

Review 23：The common parts are really badly taken care of... carpets filthy and falling apart ... same with the wall paper ... it does not even compare to a bed and breakfast which, in general, are run with a much smaller budget ... Needs a complete make over. The entrance is a very unfriendly with everything needs to be redone in terms of decoration and design.

Review 63：The internet drove me nuts. Like MANY hotels in Europe, they have that system that prints out a ticket for your connection. That service provider is doing the hotels a disservice: it almost never works, many of the ports are blocked, not enough base-stations (antennae), tough to get an IP address, usually Skype doesn't work, etc.

Review 80：The hotel is directly in the middle of Klagenfurt and it's only a two minute walk to the main bus terminus, where buses can take you to any part of town. There are also lots of pubs and restaurants nearby. The breakfast buffet was very varied and sufficient. The hotel also offers free wifi, which worked at a more than acceptable speed. The hotels offers the opportunity to pay the bill in your native currency, with a guarantee that you can claim a refund for any adverse changes in exchange rate between point of payment and actually being billed.

Review 83：This was the most delightful hotel. My normal preference would be for amodern style, but the style and decor of the hotel fitted perfectly thesurroundings of the town centre. Hotel is very convieniently located atthe centre of Klagenfurt, yet access to Worthersee Lake and themountains is convenient. The hospitality of the staff was superb and thebreakfast buffet was absolutely delicious. Such a lovely stay in thishotel, I would definitely stay there again.

Review 84：When you get to the hotel, there is absolutly no parking except for a parking garage which you have to pay for(expensive). Also the reception is not on entry level floor you have to take a really slow hot elevator ride to the 2nd floor. Room was with air condition but it was really not an air conditioner, but a hugh ventaltor or bg fan...which of course means that it doesn't really get cold in the room... and only blows shraight up, so that only the people in the immediate vacinity can feel it...no spreading the air there... still HOT... at least in June. BEWARE!!! Bathroom is extremly overheated as no air reaches that far. Bedroom area was the same at least in this particuliar junior suite. No offense but it seemed a little more like a glorified 3 star hotel... not 4. Nice that they added paintings and nice furniture...but it was alot to do of nothing. Reception is on the same floor and in same area as the breakfast area... WHO THOUGHT OF THIS!!! Duh.. and uncomfortable Breakfast was sparse at best... and the staff although friendly was a bit slow to clean table and bring fresh food out... even at 8 in the morning... you would think service would be on their toes... It was also not all that... like said before overall nice expierence..but glorified 3 star... I threw "glorified" in because of the furnishing.. NO sauna, or fitness, or ANYTHING... NOTHING...
