Review 1：I would say the food could be better but I mean that in the sense, have a small ala carte option available, I could have killed for a good steak.

Review 2：I stayed in a junior suite and would love to say how aweful it was so no one goes there in the future but I'd be lying. Excellent hotel and the staff were so friendly and helpful. 11 out of 10

We barely caught the flight after they sent our passports via cab which cost us 70€. We were expecting the terrace to be on the same floor, yet it was upstairs.

It's ridiculous for a four star hotel - the location is also deceptive - the website promotes the fact that it is an adult only hotel and gives the impression that it is a tranquil location BUT it fails to mention there is a HUGE family orientated complex right next to it and they share the beach and facilities

Review 23：Our air con was broken in our room for 3 out of the 5 nights which was disappointing. On one of the nights I found it extremely hard to sleep as it was so hot but on the upside I managed to get up for sunrise! Food was nice - good range of food but if your a foodie like myself and my boyfriend then this hotel probably isn't for you. We went out 3 of the 5 nights there so we could get a proper Spanish meal!

Review 24：Young guy at reception was the nicest guy we met all of our holiday. Cant remember his name but he had dark hair and beard. Made everything so easy and pleasure to deal with. We got a lovely sea view room which was a must. They gave us a side balcony which was one of the bigger ones which was great

The food was very good with plenty of choice at breakfast and dinner. Happy hour each afternoon .. the mojitos were fab! Lovely and quiet at the main pool and you could always get a sunbed, with another one across the road overlooking the beach and sea. Will return!

Review 42：I came to the adults only section of Esmeralda for 10 days at the end of July this year. A fantastic location with a plethora of beautiful coves along the coast to explore. Take your snorkel or buy a cheap one when you arrive! Things you must do: take the Starfish catamaran to one of the day trip options offered. We went to Cala Mondrago and it was beautiful. Secondly, rent a Sea Rider boat from the port for €150 for 4 hours and explore the coast by yourself. No license needed and not for the faint hearted if you don't like a bit of a bumpy ride. The food is absolutely fantastic at the hotel and the snack bar by the pool, although limited for options, is great for lunch.

Review 43：-Extremely bad wifi connection 15€ per week and the pages could hardly open. -Beautiful pool area by the sea, but very uncomfortable grounds around it. It hurt quite bad walking bare feet on that ruffled concrete -A bit outdated interiors of the hotel

Review 63：Lovely hotel in a fabulous location - overlooking a beautiful beach. From the moment we arrived the service could not be faulted. Check in was quick . The first floor room itself was basic but clean, air-conditioned and plenty of wardrobe/drawer space with a nice sea view from the balcony across the bay. Although the room was at the front of the hotel it was quiet. Breakfasts and evening meals were excellent - plenty of choice, well presented and fresh and lovely staff in the dining room to assist. The Beach bar snack menu was excellent..The pool at the hotel was lovely and peaceful with plenty of sunbeds - . The free wifi available in the reception and bar areas of the hotel was not working for most of the time we were in residence.. The public bus service to various parts of the island is very good. All the staff were helpful and friendly and made our stay very pleasant. Would recommend the hotel to anyone seeking quality. The management of the complex is excellent.

We spent days sitting by the pool, its just a matter of a few stairs down to the beach, you can even go via the rocks and not even get your feet dirty! Review 78：The hushed atmosphere around the pools may not be to everybodys taste as it is slightly sterile depending on your point of view. The rooms and rear pool area are quite dated and could benefit from refurbishment.

Review 79：Archictecturally the hotel is beautiful; the front garden area and grounds are very well cared for. The most popular swimming pool is at the front and overlooks the beautiful Cala Esmeralda cove. You have to cross a quiet road to gain access to the front pool. The pool area is again well cared for and the sun loungers/umbrellas are all in good working order. There are steps leading down from this pool to the cove. There is also a bar overlooking the pool and cove which we lunched at most days; they serve a good selection of food and drinks. We stayed in room 429 which is on the top floor (4th) and commanded views over the rear of the hotel and rear swimming pool. Our balcony basked in the afternoon/evening sun. Our half board worked with a buffet style breakfast and evening meal, there was a good selection of food and variety for both; you pay for drinks separately. The rear swimming pool is less popular as it is dated in appearance, depending on where you are will depend on how much sun you get, as the sun moves direction. The hotel is adults only and operates a strict policy regarding under 16s around the swimming pools. Consequently the atmosphere around the pools is very hushed. We enjoyed our one week stay at this hotel and would return.
