Review 1：the kitchen is good, the only thing to improve is the restaurant. Somehow does not match to hotel's style.

Review 3：We were not informed about the hollow tining of the greens prior to our arrival, and one large society was allowed to play a texas scramble, effectively extending the time of a round of golf by 25%.

Review 4：The hotel was very comfortable, the staff very friendly and helpful, food was good, but on occasions breakfast buffet could have been warmer.

Review 5：Only slight downside was there were no place to keep my husbands medication in the room as it must be kept in fridge. so had to keep going up and down to reception for it. thought minibar would be a small fridge.

Review 6：The accommodation was lovely. We had a beautiful view of the golf course. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bar, restaurant and reception staff were all excellent.

Review 7：the bar did not serve very good food, they could improve on that. Bar service a little slow. But those are just small things, the important things were good.

Review 9：The hotel is well-located with its own golf course which provides for great views from the rooms and public areas that overlook it. The food in the restaurants is excellent and provides a fine flavour of local cuisine. Eggs cooked to order at breakfast is a real bonus. Rooms are quite spacious and very comfortable with excellent en suite facilities. Each has a private balcony with views over either the golf course or the hills to the front. Staff are friendly, keen to please, efficient, well-trained and motivated. Our fourth visit this year, and very pleased to recommend this hotel.

Review 10：On our arrival at the hotel we were greeted by a friendly receptionist, & once in our room we were delighted to find a large basket of fruit and bottle of water, a very thoughtful touch. Our room was very clean & comfortable there was also a fridge which was handy for keeping our water and milk cold. I would like to have been provided with a kettle as we do like a cup of tea as soon as we wake up. Our room had views overlooking the golf course in particular the 18th green. On the whole the golf course was in pretty good condition but there were several greens where pitchmarks had not been repaired, the ground staff were always busy and also considerate. If we had any irritation it was that on most days that we played we had to play as a four ball and we were having to wait on almost every tee, on one particular day there were 5 groups on the one hole, 1 group on the green 1 group halfway down the fairway and 3 groups waiting on the tee, although a lovely challenging course and lovely views to look at a round of 5hrs 45mins did nothing to help my game. We went half-board and there was a good selection of food for all tastes. I also have to say that the restaurant staff were also very cheerful and helpful.

Review 11：Hotel well located for me as I was travelling around the area. Room was comfortable and it was good to have a balcony. Temperature in the room was ideal for me so didn't need either heating or aircon. En suite facilities were good. Breakfast was very good, with a good choice of cold meats, cheeses and breads, fruit juices and coffees. Eggs cooked to order, which is always a plus. The bar area was fine and food is available throughout the day. Staff were generally efficient and friendly. Have stayed here before and will definitely stay again. Happy to recommend.

Review 12：Spa. Steam room not working. No a/c in gym. If you want Spa treatments essential to book ahead at least two weeks before stay.

Review 13：Great for golfers need car as remote location. Staff very helpful. Food good and plentiful half board breakfast and dinner. Good selection of wines perhaps a bit pricey.

Review 14：Staff are efficient and friendly; check-in and check-out easy with accurate billing. Room was quiet and comfortable with a view over the golf course. Breakfast had everything we needed, with eggs cokes to order. Location was good for us.

Review 15：We stayed in 144 which was excellent up until the last couple of nights. We had very noisy people next door. The noise went on till at least 1a.m I phoned reception to ask that they request the people have some respect and keep the noise down. This did not happen, when I phoned the reception a second time,they were very reluctant to go to the room and ask them to keep the noise down saying the people said it was only thier hairdryer. The next morning we requested that we be moved which they did move us. The guy on reception was not very helpful at all. The next morning I went to our balcony where I found lots of cigarette ends they were obviously smoking and just throwing them outside.

Review 19：During the night, a bad smell (sewerage?) would come in through the air-conditioning. It was mid-summer, so to turn it off and be comfortable we needed to open the window. However we were positioned on the side of the bar which meant noise. We did complain about it, but nothing was (or could) be done. Also the drinks during breakfast were not nice... the juices seemed to be made from powder, the water was obviously tap and the coffee yuk. The food was fine though.

Review 20：Very friendly staff, lovely, warm pool, fantastic choice of food at both breakfast and dinner with stunning views from the dining terrace. Brilliant room overlooking the 18th green. All in all a great visit.

Review 21：We used Valle del Este as a base to explore inland Andalucia. The hotel has great facilities, including a spa, swimming pool and golf course, with a good restaurant for both dinner and breakfast. The terraces have great views over the golf course and are pleasant places to enjoy a drink or breakfast. Our room had a view and a balcony overlooking the golf course; the bed was comfortable, the en suite facilities were good and the air conditioning probably just about right, not too cold. Staff were very efficient and helped make the entire stay most enjoyable. Happy to recommend.

Review 25：The management have got this Hotel performing magnificently, and the costs of stay, evening buffet meal and drinks are at a level you don't feel you are being abused. Although it is essentially a Golf Resort Hotel, the general am atmosphere would suit all tastes.

No drinkable water not even a kettle in room and mini bar empty Dangerous steps leading down from spa - I fell and sprained my ankle! When I hobbled to the reception to ask for ice- visibly in pain- I was told to get it from the bar downstairs!

Review 37：We had the misfortune to be two rooms away from uncaring guests with a small, very noisy dog who was left on the balcony to bark continuously despite my telling the reception staff. On Boxing Day we were woken at 7.30 am by this same nasty little dog and I complained to the reception staff again. We will not be staying again at a "pet friendly" hotel.

I took it to the desk and asked for some form of compensation no one bothered to contact me The wi fi was down to 0.5 Mbits and was unusable. The large snack bar closes at 5pm and therefor you have to pay the buffet prices if you want to eat in the Hotel

Review 54：Some bad staff service, specially the hotel's manager, he's not very politly. Guests are not treated for equal. Some services were not funcioning in holliday time. There was to much flys in all the places of the hotel! The majority of the shops were closed too.
