The Domaine du Golf is a recently built property on Ammerschwihr's golf course, set among vineyards and forests.
The residence houses 72 apartments spread over 3 or 4 levels (with an elevator), a heated indoor swimming pool, a fitness room and a sauna.
On a 18-hole course, this hotel is the perfect base for golf lovers. It is also conveniently located one mile from the center and the nearest shops and right at the beginning of many hiking trails.

Review 1：Extra bed in living room is rather narrow. WiFi required complicated login, had low signal strength, and stopped working several times.

Review 6：This is totally self-catering. Make sure that you bring soap. Linens are provided, but you will have to make your beds when you arrive. It was not a problem for us. The pool closes at 6:30 p.m. We were really looking forward to a swim when we arrived, but that wasn't possible. The restaurant was also closed.

Review 10：Small double bed. No room for suitcases. You can only order a basic bread product breakfast so need to stock apartment. Not serviced with clean towels. No bathroom products or cleaning products. Garbage disposal your responsibility. No elevator, aircon, insect screens. If you accept these terms you can enjoy an apartment in tranquil place with own destiny for eating etc.
Review 11：Location near the heart of Alsace wine area. Quiet. Easy to find, free parking. Apartment room with kitchen and cooking facilities. Wonderful balcony with view. Lounge dining kitchen so you are in control. Broom brush shovel and cloth to clean but no cleaning fluids. Several chairs, table for 6. Reasonably good cooking facilities including rangehood, fridge, all pots and pans, cutlery, crockery.
Review 12：The breakfast was very poor. Two equipments in the gym were broken and rusty. That was everything that can be found in gym. Pillows were totally uncomfortable. It was a bag full of cotton.

Staff said they bought mattresses six months ago on the cheap from someone who has absconded. No wonder, a truck full of deficient mattresses from China for 80% discount. LoL.

Review 26：One should be prepared to the hotel way of work. 1- On arrival Guests have to make the beds or be ready to pay extra 30 Euros. Bring anything needed to consume including salt, cocking oil,shampoo, soap etc 2 – On leaving Guests have to remove anything they brought to the apartment and clean the apartment - or pay for final cleaning fee of 50 euro!!!

Review 38：Firstly an upgrade without asking, to a 2 bed, 2 bathroom apartment was very welcome on arrival, as was the wifi in the apartment now, great start! The stunning views from our balcony were gorgeous, the walking and cycling in the area was superb, the fresh bread at your door brilliant and the sauna excellent. The staff were very friendly and a dishwasher problem was dealt with within the hour.
Review 39：If you have no car, dont stay there! We were 4 people in the 6-Person appartement and it was very narrow, but we didnt stay that much in the appartment so it wasnt that problem. We missed some equipment to wash the dishes, the tables and clean the room. No german television.

Review 41：The hotel advertises that it is located near Colmar when in fact it is at least 10 miles to the city center. It is also very, very remote. Nothing at all nearby. Also the hotel has limited check in/check out hours. The bed was very uncomfortable and the room was very warm, even when we turned off the radiators.

Review 49：i would not recommend it for people who book last minute, we were travelling from italy, so the whole day, we got no internet. the hotel notify on email for the code. its self check in afterwards, and we didn't get the email about the entrance code, we notify on the booking that we'll arrive 1 hour later (8pm), and we were so frustrated the number stated on the door 'for emergency/late check-in' doesn't work. so we waited for a long time until (fortunately) other guest come and give us the code.

No wifi in the room. Poor wifi available only at the reception which was far away. Wifi login process was clunky and difficult. I WOULD NEVER stay here again
