Reviews for Maison d'Hôtes La Guérandière

Review 1:Everything about staying at this historical hotel was great. The bedroom was decorated beautifully, really comfortable and spacious. The breakfast in the conservatory was awesome. What an experience. It is just inside the old wall, off street parking and easy to explore the town from. We only stayed one night and really didn't see the staff much.

Review 2:Our hostess Valerie ,treated us to breakfasts of fresh eggs and crepes with home made jams and fresh squeezed juice and cafe au lait every morning. The room came equipped with porto and almonds for an after dinner snack.Having parking on the property inside the walls of the old city made walking tours a breeze. The shop on the property carries the fullline of Jules clothing. This is one of our favorite properties of the 9 we stayed in on this 3 week trip to France

Review 22:The attention to detail is everywhere and creates a chic comfort.

Review 23:There are no real 'facilities' in the hotel and the decor may not appeal to all, but advertised accurately and ideal for a short break.

Review 24:So much character and a real old world feel to the whole building, from arriving through a walled city entrance to the decor and furniture inside. The local medieval town had many shops and creperies and lovely pattiseries to explore all within easy walking distance, not to mention the castle! Really medieval experience. Secure parking.
