Reviews for Les Montades Chambres d'Hôtes
Review 1:The weather was unseasonably wet so we couldn't eat out in the garden nor try the swimming pool.
Review 2:Marieke and Raimond are excellent hosts. They are fluent in many languages. Helpful [for example printing out boarding passes]. Their cooking is very good with interesting choices. Homemade jam [pear fabulous and mulberry excellent].
Review 3:No complaints at all.
Review 4:Very friendly couple running the place. Very good English. Excellent food and wine at very fair prices. Pleasant room with good shower. Pleasant outdoor spaces. Ample shady parking.
Review 5:Nothing!
Review 6:Within walking distance of very good restaurants in Anduze. Food was excellent both at breakfast and in the evening. Owners could not have been more helpful. Very pleasant and laid back atmosphere.
Review 7:We spent ages trying to find this place, as our Sat Nav's location was about 2 miles out. Had we not stopped to ask locals we would never have found the place, we did try contacting the B&B but could not get through. The room facilities were very cramped, we had to keep our luggage outside of the room as there was hardly any space to move. The decor was very shabby, dated and cluttered which made the room feel untidy. Toilet only was downstairs and very small and cramped which was not very convenient. Breakfast was bland. Wouldn't recommend for the room rate as we stayed in much nicer places for the same price.
Review 8:Friendly hosts and a short drive to village and Bambouseraie, which was fantastic to visit.
Review 9:Amazing hosts, lovely breakfasts and wonderful evening meal. Quaint, slightly rickety, old and very French. Lovely walk into Anduze
Review 10:Faultless
Review 11:Hosts Food Cleanliness Facilities Location
Review 12:Bathroom facilities very small. WC downstairs was very cramped
Review 13:Very friendly. Excellent breakfast. Pleasant ambience.
Review 14:A desert with dinner would have been welcome.
Review 15:Friendly welcome, enjoyable evening meal with wine. Good Europeanbreakfast.
Review 16:Thin curtains so the room was very light by 6am (in June) and there is a bit of road noise.
Review 17:Fantastic attention to detail and lots of lovely touches in the room that showed they had really thought about the guest experience. Breakfast was lovely and really well presented. The chambre d'hote is a short walk into town where there are a choice or restaurants.
Review 18:I imagined this place in the country but it is next to a main road that gets very busy at 6am. This is a lovely old manor house and the windows do not quite close so the sound is not shut out. The room is decorated in a charming if hippyish style and the bathroom likewise is of about 1970 vintage. The shower does not drain efficiently and the separate loo is down the stairs. If you live in the city and don't have a problem with noise and don't have to use the loo in the middle of the night then these will not be a problem for you.
Review 19:Charming hosts who came out to meet us. Lots of bread at breakfast. Beautifully presented. Kettle in room and secure parking for the car.
Review 20:pool was very small, not really suitable for swimming; much further out of town than stated along a dark road which meant having to drive into town at night to eat rather than walking;
Review 21:The room was large and bathroom was good
Review 22:Lovely hosts and we had a lovely room over looking the beautiful garden setting. Just a short walk into town to enjoy a scrumptious meal from one of the many restaurants on offer. Unfortunately we were only staying one night but a very central location to use as a base to visit all the nearby sights.
