Review 1：Fuse for electrics can trip(needs to be reset).Can be slow replacing toiletries.

Review 2：Just as the blurb promised 100m from the beach. Room's spacious and quite. Fridge and kitchenette useful. Terrace/balcony great for late afternoon/early evening. Women on reception very welcoming and helpful

Review 4：A large 1 bedroom apartment well equipped for a very low price. Fantastic swimming pool area. Very close to beach and cafes. We ate at the restaurant in the complex. Had a nice meal but the menu was not the same as the one in the apartment.

Review 5：There was heavy overnight rain and everywhere (including the ground floor of our apartment) flooded. Three days later the road was still flooded!

Review 6：It is a small complex located a short walk from the beach, bars and restaurants. When the ground floor of our apartment flooded the staff responded promptly to our request to bale out the water and turn on the electricity.

Review 7：The standard of accommodation is lower in some apartments than it used to be (pre-flood? pre change of owner?) For instance there should always be a washing machine and an oven otherwise the accommodation really isn't suitable for self-catering family use. This is particularly important if travelling with very young children. In my opinion there should be wi-fi available in the apartments, not just in the public areas. These days that is the norm for hotels and resorts. Finally,, I was surprised and disappointed to be charged for having a cot in the apartment. There had been no mention of a charge when I made the booking, and this should have been clearly stated.

Review 8：Loved the site and the location - I have stayed many times before. The cot supplied was damaged - a replacement cot was delivered to the apartment within minutes of informing the staff - excellent service.

Review 11：We had asked for early check in due to only flight of the day landing at 9am, but didn't get to our apartment until 2.00pm. Apartments now starting to look tired and tatty, both inside and out. No corkscrew provided!

Review 12：Great location near beach and easy walking distance to Garrucha. Reasonable local bus service to Commercial Centre and local golf course. Complex very pretty with low level accommodation. Great pool.

Review 13：The room was not ready on arrival and the reception staff were not very helpful. Items were missing in the apartment. The hotel restaurant kept us waiting 3 hrs for dinner and the meal was so bad had to send it back.

Review 16：Lovely a very clean apartment. The area is full of green vegetation and very close to the beach. Very nicely equiped with everything what you need to stay for a family holidays including kitchen equipment. I loved the hotel and would come back.

Review 17：following the flooding in the area, the ground floor apartments have been modernised but haven't been re-fitted with equivalent white goods to those upstairs - no washing machine, no cooker (friend had upstairs apartment with all goods), had to ask for hairdryer, didnt provide enough towels for us all - had to search out and go repeated times to reception - had chairs stolen outside the apartment - should be a lower rate for ground floor apartments - the sofa bed was not sufficient for an adult to sleep on - very uncomfortable - strong smell of stale water - the hotel pool was too hot

If I had to pick fault then I would say that some of the sofas in rooms are tired and you can see that kitchen cupboard doors have been replaced and don't necessarily blend in with original work tops etc but as apartments were kept so clean and beds comfortable then not really an issue.

Review 22：Beautiful place. Grounds are Well kept and laid out. Staff were excellent and very responsive to any requests. Our two bed duplex was great and cleaning offered every second day.

Review 23：reception staff were not at all helpful - we had to wait 3 hours for our room to be cleaned on check-in, we eventually checked into our room at 6.30pm and on departure they made us leave our room at 12 noon

Review 30：The apartment was very good, all the essentials available. The onsite pool bar had excellent meals. The evening restaurant menu was extremely good. The price for such a good accommodation was remarkable.

Review 39：Noisy Spanish families talking very loudly right outside our room. We were all placed in rooms next to kids playground and so noisy. We appreciate Spanish have different meal times etc and go to bed later than English but this is an international hotel and not a Spanish only area and residents at hotel should respect other people's requirements for quietness especially in the evening.

Review 43：I lived on the 1st store (out of 2), and had to keep the curtains closed tight so that others wouldn't look inside. That might be a problem if it's hot outside and you want some fresh air from outside and not from the air conditioner.

Review 44：Great place, consists of hotel rooms and regular flats where local people live (at least what it seemed so). I can't say anything about the location as we traveled by car. The beach is pretty close, tidy. The rooms are enormous, have everything required for cooking except the regular oven.

Review 51：I arrived just after dark. The signage was inadequate. The RECEPTION sign was lit but there was no indication that it was the reception desk for Infiniti. INFINITI should be large capitals and brightly lit.!!!!!!

Review 53：On site, everything is still called Vera Beach Club. Information booklet is not always correct. No phone in apartment. Staff unable to answer enquiries or assist with information as, no matter how much I tried to use my limited Spanish, staff had not even one word of English or 'Spanglish'. One Swimming pool closed for season without notice. Only one key issued per apartment which meant all occupants had to be synchronised in comings and goings - very awkward!

Review 61：It's a 2* apartment, you pay over the odds for it. You can find a luxury villa for the price you pay here. You don't even get a cork screw or frying pan! It says it is for 6 adults, the double sofa bed in the sitting room is horrible and unconformable. It collapsed when two adults tried to sleep on it.

Review 63：Had booked and paid for an apartment for 6 guests for two nights. Gotone with one bedroom and no discount on the price we prepaid. Thoughthat you pay for the size of the room. They must have change rooms sincewe were less than 6 guests at arrival. Late check in, but the room wasnot ready when we got it: beds was not done and no towels. Asked and gotthat 3 hours later. It was only half a roll with toilet paper inbathroom. Said that to the front desk, but had to "steal" frompool to have later in the night. Got no new once during our 2 nightsstay. No info about that they only change towels and beds every fourthday. Called and asked the first afternoon after we got back from thebeach. They said they were late. When we came back 8.30 P.M. and askedthey said: no towels or bed linen. Said we could pay extra for it, butno! Called the front desk and after a long arguing suddenly we got fourtowels. If you pay hotel price at a place they call “resort” they shouldgive info and provide you what is normal standard? Cleanness andstandard could have been better. You could see the sofa was “used” andfabrics were very dirty. “Eye” on the tv was not in it’s position andyou had to hold it to change channel. Stocking in cabinets was not forthe number of guests that could stay there.

Review 65：Arranged and early arrival but could not get access until 4 pm Then we found the room had not been cleaned properly, there were no towels and the bedding needed changing.Complained to reception and they advised me it would be a furtehr 1 to 2 hours before the room would be finished. We could not get the air conditioning to work which made for a very uncomfortable night

Review 69：These apartments are a great place to stay. They are secure, well maintained and the gardens and pools are lovely. Seems to be mainly residential with mostly spanish people so a great place to get away from it all and relax. There is a small supermarket over the road and a few restaurants nearby which serve good food. Garrucha has a big Mercadona supermarket which is 20 min walk or 5 euro taxi and there are lots more shops and restaurants there too. The beach is only 5mins away and has good sand and sea to swim. Great value for money if you want a basic family break. And it was sunny every day, perfect!

Review 71：We were greeted at reception by a well presented young man who was polite and very efficient. The rooms were of a decent size for our stay and the grounds were immaculately kept. The one pool area that we used was excellent. Full stop. The beach was a few minutes walk away, there were bars, restaurants and a mini market even closer and a taxi into Garrucha, which is a great place, was for nothing. I would return and would have no hesitation in recommending. Brilliant.

Review 72：First off the phone number was wrong on my confirmation - spent 45 driving around trying to find it as it is not well indicated. At check in the girl told me it was Bookings fault and that they "put what they want in their hotel ads". I had reserved this hotel because while I was there I needed to work - I was told Internet was 6 euros per night - when I got there they DID NOT HAVE INTERNET - the girl at the desk was unapologetic and basically couldnt have cared less - totally rude - our shower leaked ALL over the bathroom floor. The pools were nice and they were frantically trying to maintain grounds - and the gardens are lovely. But the staff is RUDE and they advertised something they didnt have. Check out time is 10 am - dreadfully early by Spanish standards - NO parking. I am still shocked at how the girl at check in just couldnt care less about all the issues. I had requested extra pillows - nothing - our beds didnt even have a blanket - just one thin sheet. There was an empty hook in the room with a sign pointing to where the fire extinguisher should have been..... absolute customer service FAIL

Review 114：Having booked 2 one bed apartments, the overall cost & destination on bank statement were different. Contacted Booking.com who confirmed cost increased due to exchange rate, but rooms booked ok having checked directly with resort. On arriving at resort, advised no rooms available & told to go to local Aparthotel which was awful!. Returned to Vera Beach & manager found us a 2 bed apartment, not quite ready following floods but clean & fairly comfortable. On noisy roadside & with limited appliances in room. Will be contacting Booking.com for compensation in due course.

Review 115：Following the recent floods of September 2012, the resort was still under renovation/redecoration with a number of apartments still out of use. However, the grounds were beautiful and exterior of the apartments had mostly been finished & had a lovely feel to the whole resort. The ongoing building work was very discreet and didn't intrude on our holiday. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Review 116：A restaurant on the front called Restaurante Las Marinas, was terriblewe had an entrcote steak which didnt even look like steak, it was toughand raw, when asked for Medium, terrible. We told the waiter whoseresponse was oh if you liked the steak we would of given you it forfree?? No apologies, absolutely nothing.. Customer care has not beeninvented yet in this restaurant..
