Review 1：It is a 30min walk from the train station on the other side of the city centre and there are no shops nearby (Nearest supermarket is about 10 mins walk and the city is about 15 mins walk). There were no reception staff on site, but you can call them on a free phone nearby.

Review 2：Our private room, the shared bathrooms and all other facilities were very clean, spacious and in good condition. The Wifi worked well once we sat in the dining room (our room was the furthest from the Wifi modem so the Wifi signal was poor in our room). It was walking distance to the city center (about 15 mins). Hostel Hermanni is in a very quiet family friendly location.

Review 4：some russian guests decided to continue their party in the hostel lobby right outside my door. Luckily having the ear plugs with me allowed some sleep ...

Review 6：The long walk was hard (I arrived during a rain storm!), the limited staff time to ask questions (a rep is present only a few hrs per day), there are limited food options nearby.

Review 8：There were no turists in a hostel, but workers from Kuopio. It was really not a good vibe, people were not ever saying hello back, everyone minding their own busyness. It was very loud early in the mornings (between 6 and 7 am), when they were preparing to go to work. We did't spend much time in a "hostel" and when we did, the mood was sort of depressed. Wi-fi connection was bad, too.

Review 9：The receptionist was very kind, but always in a hurry. Toillets and rooms (kitchen excluded due to nasty individuals) were clean.

Review 11：Very comfortable beds with nice colourful linen. Spacious and clean bathrooms, as the hostel didn't seem to be very full there were fairly enough of them. Good coffee available for only 50ct. Good quiet location.

Review 21：We travel with 2 dogs. We payed for dogs 10 euro. It is very nice place to go for a walk with dogs, near lake. We has great opportunity to cook in hostel.

Review 22：I had a bot of bad luck: the second night of my stay was horribly NOISY. (There were some young travellers partying at the hostel)... So be prepared that anything can happen during the night since apparently there were no staff-member -presence around (unless they were partying too)

Review 33：The staff isn't too introsive; the location is suitable both forshopping (not far from the Kauppatori) and slow walks (the hostel is bythe lake just near a park). There's also a convenient fork to e63highway just near the hostel.

Review 35：It was well situated near the city centre,about 15 minute walk. The rooms are clean and spacious enough to spend a short visit in and it was nice to have a television in the room too! As for low budget,I would recommend to anyone who is travelling through Kuopio on their way around Finland and don't want to spend loads of money to just put your head down for a night or two.
