Reviews for Hôtel Les 3 Barbus
Review 1:One point for travellers on Satnavs - the Booking.com site gives address as Anduze. With this location there is no recognition of hotel or street. - if Generargues is used there is ( but you don't know that till you have found it )
Review 2:Views from room, restaurant and terrace . Pool.
Review 3:The leak from the air conditioning, on to my iPhone and iPad.. And the fact that the receptionist could care less. They also said the room I booked had a broken air conditioning unit and they had to move me. The food was terrible and over priced. Service took for ever with a bad attitude from staff
Review 4:We stayed here as part of a 6 week tour. This was one of 42 hotels and was the worst one we stayed at. We liked that there were other,,much nicer hotels near by.
Review 5:restaurant was "full" with just 27 people having dinner waiting time at dinner (75 min after ordering for 1st course) price - quality equation is unfavourable

Review 15:Expensive meals.Little choice of price. Poor signing from village. Original room not as booked, Too many stairs/steps. NO LIFT. Willing reception staff but hampered by lack of English and Managing staff. Hotel was far out of main town, Anduze.
Review 16:Facilities were good, although in September we felt the season was finished.
Review 17:After a long drive on a hot day, we could not get anything to drink whenwe arrived at 3 Barbus. The restaurant is very good, but much tooexpensive to use every day
Review 18:The setting of the hotel
Review 19:In general: they renovated a lot, but they forgot still a few things which need attention in the future, the 'new' bosses don't act like bosses, some of the staff do. - Around the swimming pool there's need of a new floor!! - They didn't put new outside doors for the rooms, the doors have their charm but you hear everything from down the hall. The walls where thick enough but the doors are the problem. - 1 waitor (the tallest guy) during dinner wasn't very polite. He knew whe wheren't french speaking (though we try to express ourselves in french) but he managed to mumble everything he said, or answered to our questions. I asked him for some water when our food arrived, after 10 minutes i had to ask another waitor (i think the son from the boss) who brought it immediatly. - During breakfast there wheren't enough croissants and chocolate breads, at 9:30 there weren't any left, i waited 20 minutes but only some chocolate breads came, so we left. - 3 persons of staff for the breakfast?? for such a small hotel is to much, unless (like 1 person) you keep going to the kitchen to feth 1 bottle of juice or 1 can of coffee (which made it a full time job...) 1 word of advice: 2 people is enough. - you can't take a shower because the showercord is to short. And we're only 1m70 and 1m73.
Review 20:- Very nice and big pool - Spectaculair view outside the room/restaurant - We went for dinner to their own gastronomic restaurant, and the food was very good. - The rooms where nicely renovated. Alse the reception and restaurant are nicely renovated. - Very good wines.
Review 21:Bad experience with dinner at their restaurant: waiter or maitre d'seemed impatient with our very limited French and we were unable to beunderstood, yet he didn't bother calling over someone else whocould speak English (the concierge was available) so we had to guesswhat to order. Later we ordered coffee that was never brought, and wewere never offered the dessert that was supposed to be included withour dinner. We waited, and even tried to get the attention of thewaiter and waitress but without success despite the high ratio ofwaiters to guests. We felt ignored.
Review 22:Beautiful decor and views, friendly concierge who spoke English.
Review 23:For the breakfast, I think you might want to add a few things but all in all, not bad.
Review 24:The situation - the view, the river, the moutains, the fresh air, the people, the food, everything.
Review 25:Arriving at 1430 and being told the room was not available until 1600 - however they relented and checked us in at 1530!
Review 26:Just about everything
Review 27:A good hotel in a charming location, conveniently situated for roaming the surrounding region.
Review 28:The restaurant staff were arrogant and rude
Review 29:A nice comfortable hotel in beautiful setting with a great view , the cognac left out to drink after dinner
