Reviews for Sercotel Leyre

Review 1:Parking is not available at the hotel (only 3 x 15min luggage loading zone spaces), however the parking at Plaza del Toro is only a block and half away and is about 11€/24hrs

Review 2:Wonderful location just next to Plaza del Toro and Carlos III mall, close to excellent restaurants and a short stroll to the old town. The hotel was very comfortable and clean and the staff were pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast had a great selection of items.

Review 3:the rooms need a comfortable chair and the hotel would benefit greatly from a restaurant for evening meals.

Review 4:the staff, location and cleanliness were excellent

Review 5:There is no bar or restaurant during the day, there are loads close by.

Review 6:The location was great and the room was perfect - at the back with a bath. The receptionists were very helpful.

Review 7:Nearby underground parking isn't particularly cheap and the traffic is very busy in Pamplona

Review 8:Friendly helpful staff. Very close walk to some excellent tapas bars and a fun city.

Review 9:No wifi reception in the room, no air conditioning in the room because the summer is over (but was 30 degrees outside)

Review 10:The modern design, very clean, location, helpful staff, comfortable rooms

Review 11:the beds had a protective plastic sheet that was very uncomfortable and noisy

Review 12:the room was clean and the hotel decor made it a romantic getaway it is only 5 min walk away from the city centre

Review 13:Nothing

Review 14:Clean, comfortable and convenient with the Rooms modern and spacious. Car Park only a few minutes walk along the Shopping Precinct and very competitive with the Hotel's discount.

Review 15:Really there was no problem at all.

Review 16:If you stay in the summer check out the Calle en Rosa- which means street in pink. This is basically a street which is decorated in pink to celebrate the Navarre Rose wine- and changes to a different location every weekend. When we stayed it happened to be in a street I. The old town but the following weekend it was moving to a totally different part of the town. What a great atmosphere!! And great pinxtos and wine reasonably priced. The location of the hotel means you are just bit removed from the noise emanating from this. We didn't choose to have breakfast as it seemed a bit expensive at 12 euros each. The staff were great and put up with my pathetic attempts at speaking Spanish

Review 17:There is only one lift to all guests, and besisdes it is to small. Computer in the business center didn't connect to internet.

Review 18:Location near restaurants, bus stations and city center. Lots of signals in the streets indicating hotel direction. Amenities refilled every day.

Review 19:room very small, photos here didn't fit my room cleanness not very good, found some hairs on the nightdesk shower cubicle a little small for tall persons

Review 20:Good breakfast good location for sightseeing tours

Review 21:During the fall season, the a/c is not "on" for the entire building and so if you are someone who likes it cool you may find yourself hot and unhappy.

Review 22:The location is perfect, and the hotel is very clean. Nice toiletries and towels. The staff are very kind

Review 23:No warm food on buffet breakfast and not a great selection of cold food. The waitress in the dining room was not very helpful and slow to replace empty plates.

Review 24:Spacious bedroom with large bed. Helpful staff on reception

Review 25:Really convenient for the touristy part of Pamplona. Staff fantastically helpful. Breakfast good by continental standards. Decor of the hotel was sylish.

Review 26:A bit of a business hotel, not a lot of character and a bit of an awkward refurbishment but fine for a bed for the night

Review 27:Location, near the old town

Review 28:none

Review 29:Perfect location, excellent breakfast, cleanliness and comfort

Review 30:Excellent breakfast

Review 31:No parking

Review 46:Rooms small for what we paid, although price was high due to San fermin festival

Review 47:Location is wonderful

Review 48:Beautiful hotel and great location!

Review 49:Good location by bullring and old city. Can walk to square and route of the bulls easily. Bus 9 that goes to the train station around the corner

Review 50:Love this hotel - the front desk staff are excellent. And it is so clean and fresh!

Review 51:Great location for plaza de Toros and old town

Review 52:Nothing really.

Review 53:Location, cleanliness and great breakfast. Public parking was close by with a discount for hotel residents.

Review 54:The hotel is well located for the centre of town. Underground parking close by.

Review 55:Great location, comfortable & modern

Review 56:location was a bit far to walk into anything of any interest, bed had plastic sheet on for people who wet the bed.

Review 57:Everything

Review 58:Liked everything

Review 59:Position - great for getting around the town. Staff very helpful and friendly

Review 60:All the usual hotel facilities for a very reasonable price.

Review 61:Only negative comment would be not the best sound proofing; otherwise a great place.

Review 62:Comfortable bed.

Review 63:Excellent but expensive breakfast.

Review 64:Needs more and more modern lifts

Review 65:Location and comfort

Review 66:Bathroom was cramped.

Review 67:Close to center but just far enough away to be quiet. Front desk staff phenomenal!

Review 68:The building looks very modern and new from outside but the rooms are old and not renovated.

Review 69:Close to old town, very central. Newly refurbished hotel, very clean and comfortable

Review 70:No security, Hotel a bit of a mess as going through refurbishment. Should be closed and modernised without residents being inconvenienced.

Review 71:location and reasonable breakfast

Review 72:Parking is not on premisses, its a public parking. Charged for an extrabreakfast even though I specifically booked two people on Booking.com.Charged extra for Friday even though I pre paid at there supposed ratethough Booking.com.

Review 73:Good Location.

Review 74:Actually, are under re-construction. Besides, why some hotels persist on using plastics under bed sheets? So expensive, may be because there was a festival in Pamplona, and quality/price relation is low.

Review 75:Great location in Pamplona town.

Review 76:Dificult to park and expensive. The first room gave to us (twin) was in an old floor and not very clean. The second was fine, in the last floor.

Review 77:Very well located at the center.

Review 78:Room 203---location and the front desk staff were very kind and helpfulin giving me directions to a pharmacy and a supermarket which werenearby, and then called luggage transfer service for me the nextmorning. The wifi worked great, the a/c was cold, shower stall hadplenty of hot water with good pressure and the room featured an actualdouble bed rather than two twins pushed together which had a verycomfortable mattress. The breakfast buffet was included in the roomprice and was more than ample with cold cuts, breads, pastries, cereals, fruit, yogurt, boiled eggs and delicious coffee. I am returning toPamplona next year and plan to stay here.

Review 79:Parking was a bit difficult as we didn't know the city, but offered discout for parking was good.

Review 80:Room good size, quiet even though in the centre of the city. Reception staff very helpful.

Review 81:At 12 euro breakfast (although we didn't avail of it) seems steep.Cafes close by are far cheaper.

Review 82:Location couldn't be any better - Old Town the place to be. Service.Nice quiet and comfy rooms. Didn't avail of breakfast.

Review 83:The rooms are small, but we didn't mind at all because we were outshopping & sightseeing during the day. However, the pillow was only1 long, flat pillow for 2 people to share. So my advice is to ask for anextra pillow upon your arrival. Otherwise, we were very pleased!

Review 84:Reception staff was efficient, courteous, professional & always tooktime to answer our questions. The location is perfect! Only a 5 minutewalk to the old city centre! Perfecto! There was secure, underground, public parking nearby. As a guest, you can ask reception to stamp yourparking ticket & you receive a rebate. We paid about €10.80 for 24h.Also, if you want an amazing dining experience, ask reception to makereservations for you at Restaurante Europa. It's a Michelin starredrestaurant & might just be the best meal you've ever had!Average entrée is about €23 à la carte. We will stay here again the nexttime we go to Pamplona!

Review 85:Very expensive for what you receive (however not sure how much the price was inflated due running with the bulls week), very old hotel, needs serious renovation, parking hard to get to when there are so many road blocks at carnival time.

Review 86:Good location for running with the bulls and bull fight, reception staff are friendly.

Review 87:Our room was small but certainly Ok for a short trip. It was booked fairly late so grateful to find this place!

Review 88:Central location for the San Fermin Festival, very convenient. Not a big problem with noise even though close to 'the action'. Airconditioning was much appreciated, thanks!

Review 89:Tv has only channels in Spanish. When booking I asked for a double bed but got two single ones.

Review 90:Very conveniently located, about three blocks from Plaza del Castillo and all attractions of old town.

Review 91:The nearest car-park was hard to find, given the one-way streets. Youshould have a special diagram to give directions to the car-park by thebull-ring, which is only two minutes on foot but is quite complicated todrive to. Also, it rained most of the day; not your fault; but furnishumbrellas please!

Review 92:Location is very good. You should stress your proximity to the Bull-ring(Plaza de los Toros), to which every local resident can easily givedirections. Service and facilities were good value for the price.Patrick, from Dublin

Review 93:You could hear other hotel guests in neighbouring rooms - next door andfrom above, unfortunately the lovely wooden floors meant guest'sheels clicked on their floor. These guests were not being unreasonablynoisy just that the sound proofing is not great.

Review 94:Unexpected welcome pack of Pamplona and local area and the front deskhaving a Pamplona map. Hotel is convenient location for the price.

Review 95:The bathroom in 605 was filthy. Urine stains on the wall by the toilet. Cigarette marks on the wall also in the toilet and a general air of not having been cleaned all over.

Review 96:Nothing: it was all good

Review 97:Central location (edge of the city center), parking garage below groundat the back of hotel, really friendly and helpfull staff, goodbreakfast, free wifi

Review 98:Average room facilities

Review 99:Location

Review 100:No English speaking TV channels

Review 101:location, staff speaking English,

Review 104:Great location in Pamplona. In the city centre but quiet.

Review 105:Close to all the action

Review 106:Room size. Cleanliness. Big bath. Location. Good breakfast
