Reviews for Apart'Hôtel Les 4 Sources

Review 1:The walls in the room looked like they had recently been painted. However, there was a strong smell of mould in the room that even did not go away by keeping the windows open. The smell was so bad that it gave me a headache and it took two days to recover. Very unhealthy, I would not recommend to go there. Apart from that the room was very dark and really nothing special. The house is close to the street, hence a bit noisy as well. There are more attractive places for the same money.

Review 2:The Hotel is close to the river, so a good location to explore the surroundings or to go for a walk.

Review 3:The kitchen equipment could improve - there are no lids for the saucepans, the knives were too blunt to cut a loaf of bread and the lighting for preparing food in the kitchen is very poor.

Review 4:A nice little flatlet. Comfortable bed and fair bathroom, wifi was good, air conditioning good. The Lidl, just down the road, was very good for food and wine. The area is interesting and the Cevennes are quite special, lovely rivers.

Review 5:Balcony without fresh air! (about 4 by 8 m, ceiling + 3 sides 1.5m wall - just like a sandwich, extremely hot like a sauna even in the late evenings) View: Do not expect much.

Review 6:Friendly staff. Clean. No problem with wifi.

Review 7:In the kitchenette a drying tray for our washing up, a tea towel and washing up liquid would have made a big difference as would more pillows on the bed and bigger towels for the shower.

Review 8:Useful location. Good size apartment for us. Basic and clean. Our second visit with teenage children.

Review 9:The hotel is a bit far from Anduze (2 km), and while it's possible to walk to the supermarket and bakery, the walk is along a fairly busy road and is not pleasant.

Review 10:A huge, well eqipped apartment, in beautiful surroundings, very nice owners. A walk down to the river is particularly enjoyable.

Review 11:Slightly out of town but a great restuarant 400 meters down the road.

Review 12:Accommodation was large, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, it had all you required except maybe for a lounge, you had two single beds with pillows, ok but a lounge and chairs are more comfortable. Host very good,

Review 13:Very friendly and informative staff, lovely rooms and pool, elevator, air conditioning, proximity to grocery store, and many tourist attractions including the Musée du Desert.

Review 14:The staff speaks French and French only! But they were very patient with my high School French and we manage to understand one another.

Review 15:The flat, the pool, the river, the nature. Anduze and all the other lovely small villages around the hotel. We would like to come back!

Review 16:Very friendly manager. Good location for touring Cevennes. Nearby town of Uzes very charming.

Review 17:Noisy from rooms overhead.

Review 18:Interesting place. Interesting building.

Review 19:Lock of balcony not working. Have to walk through a really dark corridor to reach my room.

Review 20:Spacious room. Delighted to find a swimming pool.

Review 21:no kettle

Review 22:beautiful location difficult to get to

Review 23:Pretty much everything. From being told by the chap on reception that there was no bar (It was clearly visible in the room behind him) to being told that the restaurant was closed and the nearest one was 400m down the road (This was also closed!) The place seems rather run-down, and despite being the only guests in the whole hotel we were given a room a good couple of minutes walk through a maze of confusing corridors, doors, tunnels and archways. Do yourself a favour and book into the hotel 100m further down the road. It may be more expensive, but the food, drink and service are leagues ahead.

Review 24:Looks nice from the outside

Review 25:Noisy, next to the road. Not very clean. Many things were broken in the room and the general state of the room was very poor. Awfull decoration. No garden. It is definitely NOT a 3 stars hotel !!! Avoid that place.

Review 26:The owner was nice

Review 27:the hotel is outside the village so you need a car to buy basic groceries.

Review 28:we rented a room for 4 people with an extra bed but we really got a small apartment which was fantastic! it even had a washing machine, kitchenette, etc. It also had a picnic table with benches on the terrace and were to hang clothes. ideal for families. The staff was so friendly and helpful.

Review 29:Wifi patchy, worked in reception area. Original building lost amongst many extensions so impossible to navigate around inside. Kept bumping into lost people. Best to use the lift and record your steps, but not the stairs as you won't find your way back.

Review 30:Extremely friendly hosts and a couple of the younger staff spoke a bit of English, and helped get the Wifi working. Large room, huge en suite. Rough path from hotel car park goes down to stretch of river so very natural and quiet place to relax. Good price.

Review 31:We feel it was a little over priced for the facilities. The room was OK although would benefit from a little refresh to bring bathroom etc up a level or two.

Review 32:The location was good and the staff friendly

Review 33:Out of season and no meals available and too far from town to go out for dinner

Review 34:The apartment was warm clean and huge with a lovely terrace. Pity the weather wasn't great

Review 35:I was upgraded from a simple room to a suite as I was the only guest (March - out of season, the region is dead). The hotel is simple, but clean and the staff was nice and uncomplicated.

Review 36:Very accommodating staff

Review 37:The kitchen close very early, the breakfast buffet is poor, the facilities are not up to date

Review 38:Lots of parking space available, large room.

Review 39:Short drive to town.

Review 40:Good selection of restaurants in town. Proximity to steam train which children will love. Clean. Quiet.

Review 41:no clock in room

Review 42:Friendliness Meals
