Reviews for Jardines de Casablanca
Review 1:Very well presented accomodation. Small hotel, big welcome from the owners. Nice menu for evening meals. Would be nice to stay in summer when the gardens and pool are in use.
Review 2:As it was the off-season the garden was not at its best requiring the yearly maintenance. One problem that we encountered was when people who were downstairs smoked the odour would filter upstairs.
Review 3:We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location is in easy walking distance to the town and sights and there is plenty of on-site parking. Our room was lovely, well designed, modern, spacious with a large bathroom. The host Salvador was very welcoming, friendly and informative. Dinner and breakfast prepared by Dianne were of an excellent standard with fresh ingredients, many of which were from the garden.
Review 4:The owners are wonderful hosts. The hotel a beautifully restored barn to a ultra modern finish. You wake up to the most stunning view of the mountains beyond Caravaca de la Cruz
Review 7:It was before the start of the summer season so the natural pool wasn't ready yet.
Review 8:Loved sipping G&Ts at the old railway carriage bar before dinner and eating under the stars. Our immaculate room had top quality furnishings including a huge and very comfortable bed and a smart new shower room. We were the only guests on a Wednesday night in May, so had plenty of attention from the very welcoming and friendly owners. This started with being met in the car park, continued into the evening and again after the tasty breakfast. Salvador told us (mainly in French as that was our best common language) about the town and its traditions and sights. Diana cooked a great vegetarian dinner (requested in advance) for us. As a stopover on our way through Spain it was perfect and fantastic value for money.
Review 9:the garden needed maintenance as did the pool but the owner said that it was still out of season and that it would be completed in the next two weeks. They have dogs and cats and if not an animal lover maybe a problem and in certain areas there was a smell of the cats
Review 10:the hotel is situated near a motorway and has easy access, and the garden area is impressive. We were the only guests which gave us time to chat to the owners. The railway bar is impreesive as are the bedrooms which are immaculate. There was no menu for the evening meal but we were treated to a six course feast which included the best steak we have eaten for a long time
Review 11:Not a complaint but if I had to give constructive criticism it would be to say it would be helpful to know what breakfast consisted of. Each day we were just about to leave the table when more food arrived !
Review 12:Great accommodation - better than plenty of hotels I have stayed in. Angel (the proprietor) was very friendly and helpful.
Review 13:We were warmly greeted by the owners who were friendly and very helpful. Highlights were the wonderful relaxing garden area with natural pool. We absolutely loved the train bar with generous servings of gin and tonic! Our room was spacious, well designed, light, airy and impeccably clean. We had a fabulous night sleep. We had dinner in the garden area and the team went to great lengths to make it special for me and my husband. The food was amazing like what you would expect from a high class restaurant. Breakfast consisted of lots of local delicacies all tasting wonderful especially the honeyed egg...yum! We only wished that we could have stayed longer than our one night.
Review 14:Couldn't ask for better service. We were greeted in the car park and shown to our rooms. It is a beautiful building in beautiful surroundings. Brilliant. Highly recommended. Will be returning. X x x
Review 15:It was a perfect place for peace and tranquillity. Really enjoyed it.
Review 16:Had difficulty finding the hotel, but the location was still excellent.
Review 17:Staff were amazing and very helpful, rooms clean and modern.
Review 18:Freshness of accommodation, friendliness of owners. Quietness of location.
Review 19:No.
Review 20:Friendly staff. Beautiful meal in the jardin. Pease and quiet. Only 800 metres from town which was very interesting.
Review 21:Fabulous gardens, lovely room, great food and Salvador and Diana could not have been more helpful.

Review 24:nothing at all
Review 25:The staff was excellent
Review 26:Good accomodation, lovely garden and friendly helpful hosts within 5 minutes of historical Caravaca.
Review 27:A newly restored building - rooms a reasonable size with well appointed bathroom. Great air conditioning.
Review 28:Cigarette smoke in the lounge/breakfast area. Dishwasher turned on whilst having breakfast Limited storage in the bedroom General tidiness outside
Review 29:Great hosts Comfortable rooms Good breakfast
Review 30:The hotel is about 20 minutes walk (mostly uphill) to the town which was ok for us (it helped walk off the lovely food!), but might be restrictive for some people.
Review 31:The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The rooms were spotlessly clean. The food was beautifully presented and freshly prepared. The bar (housed in an old railway carriage) was extremely well stocked. We felt totally relaxed and at home throughout our stay.
Review 32:From the minute we arrived nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were beautifully done, as was the whole house. All food was freshly prepared, and we were treated to a gourmet 7 course meal on our last night. All of the staff were lovely and very helpful and made us feel like guests in their home.
Review 33:Pool area could do with a spruce up..
Review 34:Salvatore and his wife were wonderful hosts.
Review 35:Loved the hotel. The gardens and outside bar fantastic. Great hosts very helpful and accommodating.
