Review 1：This is the fourth time we've stayed here and there are no bad points to report.

Review 2：Great location for a stopover while driving from Portugal to the UK. Good value and a great restaurant

Review 3：Dinner wasn't till 20h30 in the evening,( too late for our little one) so we had to improvise a snack from the local supermarket. I was a bit disappointed by the poor quality spring mattress.

Review 13：Restaurant dinner is really bad. The food was so salty and greasy, that it was almost impossible to eat. Also in menu it was written that TAX is already included. I decided to pay on my checkout. However, once I was checking out I the bill they presented had a TAX added on top of the menu price. I am pretty sure they did it intentionally - not very nice I would say... Rooms are not soundproof.

Review 17：I travel frequently throughout Europe and have stayed in many hotels. This was the worst one I have encountered. Many of the Staff were rude, surly and unhelpful. The first night I ordered a sandwich from the bar which was priced at 7.50 euro (which I thought was a little expensive) the waiter then tried to charge me 17.50 for the item and when questioned pretended not to understand. Eventually after a long confrontation the item was removed from the bill. Overall I would rather spend a weekend sticking pins in my eyes than stay here again.

Review 24：The hotel is ideally placed to enjoy the Monfrague National Park and Northern Extremadura. The Jerte (cherry) valley is also within easy reach. The staff are wonderful, courteous and very helpful. The breakfast buffet is very good, offering lots of choice. Both the cafeteria and restaurant food and service were excellent and very good value. We are looking forward to returning to Extremadura and the Azar hotel.

Review 28：Easy to find. Good parking facilities with room overlooking car park, which we asked for, to keep an eye on our vehicle. Spotlessly clean. Excellent E15 evening meal - three course with bottle of wine, water and coffee.

Review 36：Travelling from Portugal by car to catch the Bilbao ferry, this hotel was used as our overnight stop. Easy to find, good value, spotless, with pleasant staff. Able to keep an eye on our car from the bedroom window. Evening meal excellent, breakfast more than adequate. Will book again when travelling from/to Bilbao from Portugal.

Review 37：Spacious rooms, Art-Deco style stying around the hotel, great menu of the day 2 three course meal choices, 2nd choice also includes bottle of wine or beer and bottle of water or soft drink and is only 15 euros pp. Good bar/cafe. Good helpful and friendly staff. Good on site parking.

Review 46：A good price for a large room. The hotel is just outside the town but that is great if you are using it as a stopover. If you want to visit the town it's only a short drive and there is lots of free parking.

Review 47：As we always travel by car to Spain, this was in a perfect spot mid-way between Santander and Andalucia. There is excellent free parking. We requested a room with a balcony and spent each evening enjoying a drink on it. The hotel is opposite a retail park, but unless you pay Parador Prices a lot of Spanish hotels are on a commercial park. There were beautifully kept gardens and a fountain, as well as a scenic back-drop. The staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet was varied and plentiful and the snacks/meals we had from the cafe were very good.

Review 110：The beds are too hard and covered in plastic like an old hospital. not enough bedding given it was very cold and the heating is insufficient. Okay, I suppose for business people visiting the surrounding commercial area but no use at all for tourists wanting to stop on the way to or from the ferry.

Bus stop to town opposite with services every 20 minutes. Plasencia is a hidden gem. Be sure to visit the Monfrague national park, home of wildlife and also stunning views. Be sure to ask for a room with a baclony. The view from the room is a mixture of countryside on local roads, giving you plenty to watch!

Review 113：The restaurant did not open until 8.30, but this is central Spain, so did not expect anything else. Felt that the bar/cafeteria could have provided more, but as the kitchen didn't open until the restaurant opened,I suppose that fact is logical
