Reviews for Hostal Ca'n Tiu

Review 1:Room 22 where I stayed was like a noisy oven. It was at least 5 to 10 degrees hotter in the room than the temperature outside. I would have been more comfortable in a mattress in the hallway! Incredibly uncomfortable to sleep in the heat and the noise throughout the night resulted in very little sleep.

Review 2:The location was excellent;the furnishings were comfortable and everything was very clean.

Review 3:Unfortunately, we had the room which is on the street....although it was not the high season, there is some noise coming from the cars from the street which is the one going into the center...therefore, it's really difficult to sleep..it's really a pity as the rest of the hostel is fine. The price should be adjusted for this room...

Review 4:The warm welcome of the owner, the atmosphere which let you feel like home, the breakfast.

Review 5:May be the beds could be better, but good enough for the price paid.

Review 6:Key was at the desk waiting for us. Could walk in and out day and night. Know Allaro very well and loved to be in the centre. Happy with the smoking room as well. Staff very friendly,

Review 7:Loud music all evening from the bar downstairs And also a shutter banging outside Not that cheap offseason compared to other hotels in Mallorca

Review 8:The room was very nice Worth coming to Alaro to hike to the castle ruins

Review 9:We could not use the Wifi as we arrived late and there were no info other than you should pay some euros for that. But there was a very nice person keeping the bar downstairs and he let us use the barwifi.

Review 10:I forgot to inform of the late arrival, but we found the door open and the room key for us. We did not order breakfast in advance but the staff prepared it for us in fifteen min when we asked for it. The room was nice and there were toiletries to use if you needed

Review 11:Friendly owner, good English spoken, centraland clean Hotel.

Review 12:2 euros/day for the wifi... seriously?

Review 19:I liked the charming owner, Magda. She was very helpful and provided an excellent breakfast for us all.

Review 20:The bed was too soft for my back!

Review 21:Great view of the hills behind Alaro

Review 22:We had a power outage at night, most probably caused by our neighbors and their kettle. As there is no hotel personnel at night, the issue was fixed only in the morning. Sound isolation could be better.

Review 23:It was really nice and very welcoming stay. Margarita made everything possible to make us feel comfortable in the hotel. Even we arrived outside of the reception working hours, our keys were ready and waited for us. The room was very well cleaned, everything was in a proper order. Room size was good. We especially liked big mirrors and big wardrobe in our room. Breakfast was good enough. Sweet bakery with potatoes was just delicious! All in all, We'd stay in this hotel again.

Review 24:The hostel is located on a busy street with a lot of traffic during the day and lots of bar guests at night. If you want a quiet place to stay, avoid this hostel. However, the ants in my bathroom liked the hostel.

Review 25:Good locations in the mountains.

Review 26:Nothing at all

Review 27:Spotlessly clean and comfortable rooms. Lovely mountain views. Super local owner - speaks excellent English- so pleasant and helpful. Thoroughly recommend this place.

Review 28:The rooms that we got were both very noisy. The worst was the one withthe windows to the street, between the bar next door, the cars all nightand the bells of the church it was pretty hard to sleep. Closing thewindows was not an option since there is not air conditioner.

Review 29:The owner was very friendly and easygoing. The rooms were clean and thelocation was great.

Review 30:Little evidence of staff around, key left at reception, first contact on breakfast/check out. Basic breakfast, poor coffee no tea

Review 31:Location, perfect for Castell d'Alaro, bars and restaurants. Clean and functional, quirky

Review 32:All good for the price.

Review 33:The owner, Marga, was lovely and helpful. Pop art decor was fun. Rooms clean and large with ensuite. Lovely homemade breakfasts.

Review 34:It was often difficult to find a parking space due to such narrowstreets, but not impossible and it did mean that the village hasmanaged to retain it's charm and not yielded to 'the motorcarrules' culture.

Review 35:The owner was extremely friendly and helpful and even drove us severalmiles to our grand daughter's christening when our car had beentowed away! (Do not park in the square on market day!) Very clean andcomfortable room - we had superb mountain views. The owners home madejams, marmalade and cakes served at breakfast were delicious. Centrallysituated within easy reach of numerous bars and restaurants and thebeautiful square which was buzzing with life all the time.

Review 36:Our neighbour was a loud speaking englishman

Review 37:Very friendly staff, delicious homemade marmalade, in the center of a nice little town with some fine restaurants nearby, nice mountainwalks
