Review 1：Really can't find anything much to fault with this hotel apart fromthe bed was hot to sleep in, perhaps a memory foam mattress?

Review 2：This lovely hotel sits alongside a really lovely beach so just a fewsteps to pale fine sand and turquoise crystal clear water teeming withfish - perhaps the sea is at it's best in October! Nice music playedby the pool and beachside bars. Superb breakfast. Decent beach view fromour room. Friendly staff. Free though limited entertainment and we likedthe way left behind stuff was available to use; books, snorkels andflippers, sun cream. Wonderful holiday.

For sure - place to return on next visit to Mallorca. Compare to other hotels we have stayed in Mallorca we missed some items offered by hotel such as slippers, bathrobes etc. what we found very common in our previous stays in hotels what even did not claimed to be SPA & beach just next to hotel. But everything we said we luck was delivered to room in less than 5 minutes.

Review 9：I didn't like the evening food at the hotel, there wasn't much choice and didn't feel it catered to everyone's needs. The rooms were quite small and basic and don't feel they were full value for money. Our room was quite far away from the beach as well so if you left something in your room would have to walk all the way back up 3 flights of stairs and all the way down the hall as the lifts were very slow.

Review 10：I enjoyed my stay here, the hotel was quite central and was in walking distance of the marina and the square with all the restaurants and bars. They had a good selection for breakfast and the pool bar had nice lunch food.

Review 11：It was a bit mean of the hotel to only allow 1 hour of free wifi each day. Most hotels nowadays offer free wifi as standard. The room was adequate and clean but nothing special and no tea making facilities.

Review 27：The rooms are need of a renovation but we're still very clean and adequate. The furniture in the lobby needs to be replaced as very uncomfortable and left us with sore backs. The room balconies needs to be washed free of bird droppings to make them more inviting.

Review 28：We really enjoyed our vacation at Hotel Cala D'Or. The location of this hotel is absolutely perfectly situated with the best of both worlds with a lovely pool overlooking a beautiful bay and gorgeous swimming beach. The hotel itself is a bit tired in places but one can imagine how it would have a been absolutely stunning in its time. Nevertheless it was very comfortable and met all of our needs. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant offered very good food for good value, and the hotel itself has a ton of character and beautiful vegetation. It is also well situated to walk to restaurants, the marina, etc.

Review 29：Theres two parts to this hotel. The main part is much better and cleaner than the older part of the hotel. Pool area. sunbeds dirty with bird mess and not enough umbrellas to beds.

When we paid our bill we were charged for a sea view and when we protested we were told we should have complained when we arrived but it was too late to complain now and we had to pay for a sea view although we did not have a sea view. Very disappointing and we feel we are due a refund. This has never happened with Booking.com before as we have always been given the accommodation we booked

Review 42：We spent the majority of our stay at Hotel Cala D'Or around the pool, the middle age lady who looked after the pool bar provided terrible service. She was rude, unfriendly, unhelpful and not at all welcoming to guests. She even refused to make cocktails at 1pm!! This experience really dampened what was otherwise a reasonable pleasant stay. Room appliance need updating, very old TVs/phones etc.

Maybe next time I will go with only bed and breakfast, since there are plenty of restaurants around the hotel

Review 49：Location is great, just besides a small, peaceful and cute "cala" with crystal clear water and not many people. The staff is amazing, really friendly and helpful. Cala d'Or is also really nice place. Breakfast is really good, with many options. Dinner (we went with half board) was also good, with a salad buffet, first and main courses served on table and then desert buffet.

Review 50：We got five out of ten nights destroyed . We booked four room for ten days.( 8 family members) The aircondition dident work at all from 03 until sunrise for five of the ten nights. My son and hvis girlfriend changed hotel after one week! We claimed, we dident got any money refound, not a good habit for a four star hotel.

Review 100：The location of this hotel is amazing. You walk out of the rear of thehotel via the pool and step onto the beach. It is that close, noexaggeration. Walk out of the front of the hotel and you have a twominute walk to the town. Cala D'Or is a smallish town but it ispacked full of restraints and bars. The food on offer is amazing. Wedid 7 nights and ate in different places every night. I think you coulddo the same on a two week stay. The bars are friendly and lively but ifyou go there expecting Ibiza style nightlife then this is not the placefor you. Having said that we did end up staying out till 5 am in acouple of occasions. The biggest surprise is that once you cross leavetown on the way back to the hotel any notice goes and your are back totranquility. We stayed b & b and the choice of food for breakfastwas plentiful and the staff were always helpful. The hotel offers freepool/beach towels for a €30 deposit. The towels can be exchangedfor fresh ones everyday and if you hand the towels back you get yourmoney back. This can be helpful to save weight if you are travelling ona budget airline. A 10 min walk from the hotel is the Marina with someamazing looking boats to view and again more restraints to sample. Wedidn't venture down to the Marina until the last morning so did nottry any food down there but the talk around the hotel was that theywere excellent. A bit more pricey than in town but you would expectthis at a Marina. We will definitely be returning to Cala D'Or andwill stay at the Hotrl Cala D'Or.

Review 101：There was little to dislike. Pool area quite small but most people swam in the sea. Lovely organic salads, fruits and cheeses available at the buffet but sometimes the evening main courses let down the rest of the meal.

Review 102：Just about everything. Loved the location, especially the bay just below the hotel which was fantastic for swimming. Hotel is traditional Spanish style with nice sitting areas inside. Restaurant has been completely redesigned since my last visit some years ago and is a lovely place to dine overlooking the bay. Staff all excellent too, polite, helpful and friendly. They really added to our enjoyment of the holiday. Rooms are quite compact but have balconies, air-con and fridge. We were able to hire a kettle and room wi-fi at a reasonable cost. Pool towels were changed daily and were free of charge. Bathroom decoration was unusual with tiles, wall pebbling. I had a choice of two powerful shower heads in a large shower enclosure and there was a hair dryer.

There are not enough sunbeds and parasols for the number of guests either at the pool or on the beach. Guests therefore feel obliged to "reserve" sunbeds very early in the morning.

It is simply furnished but comfortable and is very well located beside the small beach of Cala d'Or and on a very quiet residential road. The evening meal is reasonably priced and quite good. Most of the staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. The occasional evening entertainment is low-key and not noisy.

Review 124：A very crowed little beach. Too many people for this little spot. After cleaning of the rooms, your feet got dirty and there was still sand on the floor. Bed sheets were not changed every day.
