Reviews for Petit Hotel Rural Son Jordá

Review 1:I informed the hotel it was our honeymoon but when we arrived no effort had been made. Clearly they do not read the booking.com instructions. It would have been nice for them to have made a bit more effort. Very difficult to get hold of staff at times. The beds were very old and had uncomfortable spring mattreses. No bar or facility to obtain snacks throughout the day.the pool was dirty and only cleaned what appeared to be once a week. With the number of pigeons it should have been protected better. Not sure the aim of the owners was for guests to use the pool or simply just to sit by it. Should offer transfers to the airport or have information for the local bus. Being in the middle of nowhere you would have thought this would have been the norm.

Review 2:Very quiet place. Location and setting was very nice and suited what we wanted. Staff were friendly.

Review 3:Due to late hour of arrival never knew full extent of facilities available therefore unaware of drinks or food options Steps into pool very deep along with depth of pool water

Review 4:Loved the rural location and tranquility of the area (despite regular planes overhead) Staff friendly

Review 5:A little more food available during the day would be great

Review 6:The pool was beautiful and the grounds were so nice. Fantastic to just take two bikes and cycle to another town! Lovely experience, would have liked to stay a few days longer

Review 7:The planes that flew in to the airport passed by just over the finca and you could hear the sound throughout day and night. You have to pre-order dinner and that was a completely unclear on the booking.com-site. The staff on the hotel managed to fix us a nice dinner anyhow.

Review 8:Nice and different from the typical turistical coast hotel. The hospitality of the staff was great.

Review 9:Very peaceful. You feel like you have the place to yourself. Very relaxing after the crowds on the coast. Beautiful part of the island.

Review 10:I did not dislike anything!

Review 11:The large bedroom and downstairs. Very relaxing and tidy.

Review 12:The location and the very friendly and helpfull staff.

Review 13:we had no water for two days. showers poor no pressures

Review 14:the setting and rural quiet

Review 15:Perhaps it would be nice to have the prices for the additionals such asdrinks more openly laying around, everywhere. But it helps to askupfront to ask for the prices, because, as often in these secludedplaces, they differ sometimes quite a lot from other places....

Review 16:It is a nice spot of Land, very quiet, very relaxing, the people thereput some efforts behind to make it special and to provide all, that isneeded. Nice touches everywhere and a nice swimming pool, so you canrelax and don't need to travel around all the whole time.

Review 17:We were given only two tiny soap bottles for bathroom and shower. They weren't replaced for two consecutive days until I had to go and ask. Hot water took several minutes to "arrive" and poor wifi signal in room. Out of room, wifi disconnected itself every thirty minutes and required a new sign in. Overall, I felt like I did not get my money's worth.

Review 18:Nice quiet location. Nice pool deck and lounge area. Breakfast was good.

Review 19:The food was just horrible and ruined my stay.very cheap dry meats atbreakfast, only plain white bread,no many options, dreadful coffee...I Amnot sure how they purchase their stuff for food but everything was basicstuff at 1euro from a big cheap supermarket.Dinner was adisaster:uncooked meat,no menu so no choice, how dare they charge 24eurosfor such a kind of dinner? The "wine house"is vinegar at 2e perbottle but they charge you more than 5 euros for a disgusting glass.Nosalt or pepper on the table.Get ready to be attacked by savage hungrycats and no one cares. They think that onions are vegetable. The secondevening we had a a dish Chinese pasta with a dreadful mix of onions, soysauce and mushrooms. All very bad.Don't book the full board;theydon't offer any lunch, any food or snacks between breakfast anddinner.Get ready to starve!Oh and they forbid to bring food fromoutside, but there is no restaurant around and they don't sell food-what are you supposed to do?Nice destination though for a hard diet.

Review 20:The location is amazing, beautiful and quiet surroundings, beautifultraditional house

Review 21:Beautiful building and surroundings, very nice staff, great location - away from crowds and resorts, yet still close to the city. A small piece of indiginous Mallorca.

Review 22:Very noicy, barking dogs at morning, night. Lots of noice from thegarden restaurant. Bathroom shower lack of water pressure. Very poor ieno parking nearby.

Review 23:Authentic style

Review 24:Everybody who worked at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. The building and surroundings are really beautiful and well kept. Although the location is quite rural, the surrounding villages are very old and pretty, with the restaurants and cafes seeming much more authentic and traditional than a lot of those at the coast. It is also quite easy to get to the airport or beaches from this central location, although a car is definitely useful.

Review 25:We have 4 wonderful days in Son Jorda. The hotel is highly recommended to anyone who wants a relaxing and peaceful holiday. I must particularly highlight the hotel staff, all of which are welcoming and friendly. Special thanks to the owner, his two daughters and our fantastic, fun and friendly waiter at dinners. Thank you all for a wonderful stay. We will definitely come again. Henriette & Carsten, Denmark.

Review 32:Very friendly and helpfull staff. Calm and good location in the middle of the island. Refreshing pool!
