Reviews for S'Olivaret
Review 1:If I had a criticism then it would be that there should have been a barbecue or cocktail evening on night during the week. Also there did not seem to be enough bar staff during the evenings
Review 2:Hotel location, rooms, food, facilities were all excellent
Review 3:the set meal in the restaurant is very limited. there is no choice for the starter or dessert and a choice of a fish (salmon when we were there) or meat (mixed meat plate). We both chose the meat option but we were disappointed that it was literally meat, with one potato in the middle and no other vegetables whatsoever.
Review 4:the setting in the mountains of mallorca is stunning, lovely infinity pool and plenty of natural shade to escape into.
Review 5:Wifi is poor and close to inexistent Some rooms have a poor location and are overlooked
Review 6:Staff are polite and helpful Spectacular location Antique fixtures and furnishings Great value for money
Review 7:The fact we had only booked a single night!
Review 8:Helpful staff, superb location, beautiful building and a fine dining experience made this a memorable stay. We wanted to use the hotel a a base for walking and to locate the Avenc son Pau -staff kindly downloaded a map and we found the cavern!
Review 9:Expensive supper
Review 10:Interesting artefacts and a wonderful location. Friendly staff and 2 great pools with a sauna. Quite remote so no other options for dining and rather expensive by Mallorcan standards. The breakfast was excellent.
Review 11:We had a huge tree outside our room which spoiled the view. As we were hardly ever in , this wasn't such a problem.
Review 12:The hotel is beautiful and full of charm.Having our meals on the terrace was delightful. The staff were always friendly and the service at dinner was excellent. The buffet breakfast always had a lovely selection. Our bedroom and bathroom were very large. We appreciated the fridge and safe, but would have liked tea and coffee making facilities.
Review 13:Tired interiors with many repairs required. Overall impression is ok if you don't look closely. Booked half board for 2 nights but food was very poor on first night so abandoned eating there for the second. Very over priced for the quality in comparison other hotels we've stayed in.
Review 14:Nice peaceful location with good views, large room and friendly staff
Review 15:Nothing
Review 16:This wonderful find was a delight from arriving to leaving. The friendly and very helpful staff made the stay easy and relaxing. Driving up from the busy motorway for only a few minutes with easy to follow signage it was like entering a different world. The old buildings blend beautifully into the hillside and from the moment you walk up to the door you know it'll be good. The rooms have been crafted out of the old farm buildings and done to a high standard, each one has its own character and we were lucky enough to try two of them as we returned for our last night on the island having enjoyed our first few days there. The fine dining experience on an evening was excellent with attentive and well trained staff. Breakfast was a good selection of cold meats, cheeses, dried fruits and delicious hot buffet of scrambled egg, bacon and local sausage. The pool, with its stunning view of the mountain opposite, is of a good size and very welcome in the hot sunshine. Never too busy with plenty of sunbeds and sunshades. Nothing I can say can sum up how beautiful a place this is and it was a lucky find we will return to many times I hope.
Review 17:The pool water is very cold [inside and outside]. !! It would have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Wi-FI is only available in one small part of the hotel.
Review 18:Beautiful location and building both inside and outside. Caring and attentive staff. My wife has special dietary requirements and the staff looked after and advised her very well.
Review 19:My only criticism would be that most rooms have no balcony, but we rarely spent time in our rooms except to sleep.
Review 20:Love the location, stunning scenery in the mountains, with the only sound being the grasshoppers and the odd sheep. The pools stunning.
Review 21:Great place to stay ! Staff great ! Food great ! Everything clean ! Will defanately re visit
Review 22:The peacefulness of the location and stunning views of the surrounding mountains and countryside
Review 23:The drainy smell in the room - we had to be moved!
Review 24:The location and food
Review 25:Rooms were dark and dingy. Very poor internet
Review 26:WiFi wasn't working throughout hotel and duration of our stay. We had a broken chair in the bathroom. Missing bulb in bedside lamp was not replaced despite notice. Bathroom smelled of sewers. Food in restaurant looked beautiful but was not as good as it looked.
Review 27:Absolute charm of building, setup and surroundings.
Review 28:Please put tea and coffee facilities in all the rooms and not just some of them!
Review 29:A hotel full of charm and character set in a peaceful rural location. Staff were most helpful with most speaking good English. This is the second time we have stayed here and we will definitely come back.
