Review 1：Person (woman) on the front desk at the evening. I saw that at the reception was available complimentary drink for guests. When I asked to taste - this woman said - is over. Why then put it on the front desk? It is necessary to remove the thermos and cups to avoid confusing!! Then I asked for a hot water only. Same woman from reception sent me to use the coffee machine not properly explaining what button i should to push. Unfortunately I do not know well the Finnish language I pressed the wrong button and made coffee that spilled. On the second attempt I made hot water, woman asked me to charge 2 euros. For hot water and coffee (!!!???) I ask why? She said - you need to pay! Of course I paid without dispute but the sediment remained. I suppose it was possible not to charge for wrong coffee that I do not even drink.

Review 2：Girl upon arrival was very pleasant. Thank you for your complimentary upgrade of the room. I really appreciate it. I mean it! Of course your wonderful spa in fully. Your lake and surroundings. I made very nice photos. Breakfast.

Review 4：The breakfast was very nice and better than on most similar type of hotels. The fitness room was good and it was relaxing with sauna and the possibility to swim in the pool.

Review 7：I have written in advance to the hotel asking how I can get from Helsinki railway station. The hotel folk have sent me a timetable and I was sure that I can easily find the bus. But it took me almost two hours to find the bus stop which is quite a long way from the railway station. This was stressing, especially given that I was traveling with a child. The hotel could have given more info on how to get to the bus station, at its site and upon visitors' requests. The breakfast menu is deplorable, I have had the impression that I eat next day what has not been eaten the day before. Absolutely no variety and a full disappointment.

Review 8：I don't like that always bed are divides in two beds in night.

Review 9：Place is very nice. Was difficult to find that place in night, but at end we manage that. Quiet and great breakfast. Sauna and pool too was good, but water was little to cold.

Review 14：This hotel is a great find as it its quality-price ratio is excellent for Helsinki area hotels. It has a nice architecture and history connected to it. We had picturesque view from our room window. Best part was to take the sauna and then swim over the lake to the other shore and eat blueberries.

Review 18：Sound isolation, dated and minimalistic furniture. Booking.com system failed to adjust the pricing when I decreased the number of travelers. Hotel stuff wasn't too keen on taking care of this problem, so I had to talk to booking.com customer service myself. It's the second time that I'm facing this problem with booking.com app - be careful!

Review 20：Surrounded by beautiful nature the hotel houses very comfortable cozy rooms and a spa facility with a pool that is quite big (12 m long), a whirlpool and separated saunas. The breakfast is amazing and offers a variety of options. The staff is helpful and friendly.

Review 21：If you book a room, than it states in the hotel policy that younger children can stay for free - but be observant, you can have a child "for free" only in superior big room, that is more expensive!

Review 26：Marja, the receptionist. Offhand, actively demonstrating the lack of care.Using language such as "I will not break the Finnish law because of you..." (normal explanation that the Finish law does not enable the statement "no breakfast" on the invoice would do just fine; instead, I received the quoted answer straight off). Knowing that I stated this in the order as a request, she absolutely did not bother to reply via email and warn me that the service requested was unavailable despite admiting to have seen my request, but "was waiting for me to come to tell me..." Negative experience overall as I am more into behaviour and treatment than facilities.

Review 38：There was a dog show in Helsinki the week when we stayed at the hotel, so there were many travelers with dogs. We were not bothered by the dogs at all and did not see them during the day but every morning starting from 6:30am many dogs were barking outside my window, and they did not stop until 8 or 8:30am. I wish I did not have to wake up every day at 6:30 am. There is no fridge in the room, nor teapot – which would be nice to have given that the hotel is in a remote location.
