Review 1：The whole building needs an overhaul- very tired and basic with no attention to health and safety- broken steps, dark corridors etc
Review 2：The swimming pool except it didn't open till 10am and check out is 11am!

Review 4：Location is excellent as on the edge of town, opposite a strip of bars and restaurants, two supermarkets close by, right on the sea, fab pool area, v quiet at night. Only place I have ever stayed self catering where maids come in every day and replace loo roll, have a clean around and remove rubbish. Big plus you get constant hot water and a good bath full!
Review 5：Drab furnishings were depressing and uncomfortable, the settee was wrecked, if you sat on it you couldn't get out and I'm not a fattie.. The armchair looked like a health hazard, circa 1970.. We laughed at the paint job, looked like it was thrown on by a two year old. Not one cup or plate matched, 3 pegs and 3 bits of twine for drying clothes, 2 lousy well dodgy patio chairs, 1 of which the leg fell off, paint peeling off the cheapest dining table. We love costamar, been there lots of times and seriously, we're not a bit fussy but c'mon lads, there's cheap and there's just mean, it really wouldn't take a lot to make it a bit welcoming and comfy

Review 9：terrible apartment , victor gave us another apartment it was also very very basic one fork between us to eat , bath rusty, shower head had to be hand held , plugs were to large to fit the wall had to buy 3, not enough hangers to hang up your clothes, no frying pan,no tin opener, just awful.

Review 101：Basic does not describe our apartment. Not equiped for a self catering family holiday. No oven grill or toaster and one teaspoon. Sofa bed broke on first night but to be fair was replaced at once. However it should have been replaced long ago. Pool could not be used as in the process of being improved. You can use poolacross the street but that only makes you want to move there for the rest of your stay. I could not recommend costamar to families. Maybe ok for base for younger singles.
Review 102：The appartments need a bit of tlc but their positon makes up for that a harbour view appartment has a fabulous sea view, they are very cheap so you get what you pay for, if you want 4star pay for it, dont complain if its not up to your standard, I enjoyed my stay in the costamar, beds were very comfortable. Staff were very helpfull at all times,I will be going back again
Review 103：There was never anyone in reception to speak to even on our departure we had to leave the keys on the side, also the corridors were allways in darkness, my daughter banged her head on the fire extinguisher one night, she had a nasty bruise very dissapointed there wasent a swimming pool as it is advertised

Review 105：Lack of facilities, marked and torn bed linen. No oven, no iron, no toaster, no hair dryer, no swimming pool, uncomfortable sofa and chairs. Fridge had no door on freezer compartment, leak from wash hand basin, extractor fan in bathroom not working, no lock on balcony door. Cooker extractor was broken and released fumes into the lounge area. Only 3 of the 4gas rings working. Cooker hood disgustingly dirty. Power failures. Dog mess in the lift although the apartments state NO dogs allowed.

Review 107：The apartment was very dated and very basic, located right at the end of Los Christianos and took quite a while to walk anywhere. Not very secure windows or doors. Lifts were in and out of service. No cleaner or clean towels in five days and no pool.

Review 109：They gave wrong apartment, without no view and after when we been complaining then they change it. We find big insects as well, even in the kitchen area. Poor kitchen, no internet at all. Two separate beds, which one even you put together been a big gap in between. Noisy at night time from the bars. Smell in the wardrobe.

Review 114：Having read the negative reviews we were a bit apprehensive, but onarrival we were pleasantly surprised. Our room on the 11th floor wasclean, airy and had the most fantastic view over the harbour. Thelocation is fantastic with a lovely walk into the town centre. Yes theapartments are basic but as long as they're clean that to me isimportant. They are progressing well with the swimming pool which willimprove the apartments..
Review 115：It is sad that the apartments have not been updated, but if they were then the cost would no doubt increase. Even so some improvement in the soft furnishings would give a much better first impression. The sofa bed in the lounge was not comfortable to sit on so assume it would not be comfortable to sleep on. The swimming pool was no where near complete at the end of January and was a bit of an eyesore.
Review 116：The apartments location is excellent, just off the promenade. Good parking both secure and on street. The room was clean basically furnished. Good bathroom, comfortable beds. Kitchen had basic requirements. Hob, kettle, pots pans and tableware. No coffee machine or café tier. As good as most package deal self catering accommodation we have used. Good balcony, excellent views. The public areas were clean. both lifts worked smoothly. Iceland store on the ground floor so, very convenient.
Review 117：Whilst the apartment was adequate for one week it would have been too uncomfortable for any longer. The beds were very uncomfortable and in need of new mattresses, my husband slept on the sofa for most of the week! The bath was okay to use as a shower but not to bathe in as it had plumbers paste around the plug hole. In comparison to some beautiful apartments we looked at nearby, that cost the same, we were disappointed. However, the view in some way made up for it, as I can't imagine there is a view from any other building in Los Cristianos as wonderful when the sun is rising, nor during the day or in the evening.
Review 118：The magnificent view looking out across the sea front from the ninth floor. Costamar is situated in a peaceful place next to the sea, where you can listen to the gentle sound of waves against the shore. Reception staff were welcoming and as helpful as they could be. It was a chilly at night so I requested more blankets which were placed in the room the next day.
Review 119：Although I did prior research and knew beforehand the rooms were basically furnished, the word sparse springs to mind. More electrical sockets would have been appreciated. The mattresses were a little too thin and hard, and the bedsprings squeaked with every little movement. The pool was still not open, but has to be finished and working by the end of January (2014) under a hefty penalty clause. It was a rather long walk to (and from, after a couple of sherberts) all the other beachfront restaurants, bars and beaches. Passing taxis were non-existent.
Review 120：Cost, first and foremost - it has to be the best value that end of Los Cristianos. The apartment was clean, obviously recently refurbished, and well stocked apart from a lack of an oven. All the electrical appliances worked. The two lifts worked smoothly. Legends bar on the ground floor is very friendly, but unsuitable unless you are a dedicated sports fan. All the restaurants across the road were of an excellent standard, with a special mention for Julie's roasts at Rumours and the lamb shank at Diamonds. We were made welcome at the Paloma Beach pool across the road.
Review 121：Excellent Value for money. Apartment perfectly adequet for the needs of two pals on holiday. Cleaner called every day (except Sunday) to clean and change towels, toilet rolls etc. Excellent bar downstairs, though we didn't use it. Right on the front, so no cardiac hill, and excellent views of the harbour and sea.
Review 122：We had seen the apartment block before and knew there was no pool and knew the apartments where very clean but basic. So we were very happy with it.Staff were all so friendly and great to have a brill Bar on site and great staff there as well. Location is great lovely walk along the beach. would stay again. And hear the pool will be re opened early next year

May I suggest you visit and offer me a refund. I recently sold my apartment (of 27 years),opposite in Paloma Beach & only returned to meet old friends and will do many more times but Costamar is a definite "No Go". I hope to hear from you. As a lot of the apartments are owned I cannot judge what the other apartments are like,but the one we stayed in need's double glazing as a must to keep the noise level's down (karaoke/artiste's in the opposite Bars and Reataurants) Also the swimming pool's we're being demolished while we were there,which was not mentioned when we made our reservation.

Review 129：It's very basic and need a total update.No oven, no microwave, no coffeemaker. It's self catering! No TV, no radio, no WLAN (in 2013!) Towels were small and thin. Sheets were worn and thin, and there was a hole in my sheet.. We stayed 8 nights but they were not changed at all. We killed a giant cockroach with the shoe! Only the receptionist spoke English and he worked only 6 hours a day. Other times there was a Spanish speaking safe guard. Swimming pool was empty and the other one under repair. There were no smoke detectors in the room.
Review 130：Great views to the sea and the mountain. The guy at the reception was very friendly. Spacious rooms and balcony. Enough with cutlery and plates. The drying rack in the kitchen cupboard was practical.Good value for money if you only want a place to sleep. You get what you pay for.
