Reviews for La Sultana de Vejer
Review 1:Nothing bad to say at all, other than it was rather difficult to find, but the lovely owner, Miguel, quickly came to my rescue, and escorted me from my car to the house.
Review 2:My ground floor apartment was so comfortable & well-equipped, I just didn't want to leave! Beautifully decorated in Moorish/Andalucian style with a lovely day bed in the lounge where I could sit & read in comfort. The property is situated in the old town of Vejer & was very quiet at night. It also had a beautifully furnished roof terrace with spectacular views down to the coast.
Review 3:Nothing big. Washmachine was bit dirty, had to perform a phonecall for check-in. No airco but room was cool while it was 38 degrees outside.
Review 4:Vejer is a beautiful city, lovely big room, great value for money! Lovely location. TOTALLY RECOMMEND TO STAY HERE!
Review 5:Mis-information about parking. The red line on map indicates the views not no parking. It is possible to park along here just not in the green zones.
Review 6:In the old town - room off a typical Andalucian patio.
Review 7:There was no mention of the circular staircase to reach the studio apartment!
Review 8:Location was great for waking in all areas. Close to Barbate and Tarif for day trips.
Review 9:Well, these old houses do not have a modern heating. Be prepared for a countryside experience - but it is bearable.
Review 10:Location, rustic ambience, apartment has all you need.
Review 11:The apartment was spacious and clean although due to being built against the castle wall the larger bedroom was quite cold and damp. The wifi was just a mifi and the signal was pretty weak. With the benefit of hindsight we wish we had stayed in the cute studio which had a lot more character, stronger wifi and better heating!
Review 12:The kitchen pots and pans were too small when cooking for four people. The free public parking is available, but a couple of minutes' walk from the apartment.
Review 13:Within the walls of the old town centre. French country-style furnishings, all new. The bed was super comfy. The terrase has lounge chairs, a table for four, and a great view!
Review 14:Wifi could be better however, a break from emails is a must in Vejer
Review 15:The apartments are great for a two day stay in vejer! Location and comfort are its best features
Review 16:The location is wonderful, the village is amazing, the apartment more than adequate, the roof terrace a bonus. Miguel very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place......
Review 17:Not signposted from the town centre. Should be a warning that clients need to be relatively fit to cope with access.
Review 18:Refreshingly different from usual boring hotels, very ethnic.
Review 19:Wifi didn't work - even after asking to change the modem and we had to go to local cafe to check emails. Apartment floors were dirty, ash tray left full of cigarettes and rooms were dark. when using the washing machine got electrocuted every time touched it
Review 20:Location of the apartment is fantastic and its terrace on top has amazing views. Staff were friendly but were unable to provide adequate wifi service
Review 21:Nothing
Review 22:Very well done brand new but with an authentic feel. Exceptionally well equipped.
Review 23:Nice "Spanish" type atmosphere in a residential area very convenient to restaurants shops, public transport and car parking facilities.
Review 24:Wifi not available in rooms
Review 25:Quiet location, but in the heart of the historic centre
Review 26:Difficult to find, a long way from the parking
Review 27:Well situated and friendly
Review 28:A great location, friendly host.
Review 29:If you would like to see the true Spain-book this house!
Review 30:- location - view from roof terrace
Review 31:very good location in the center of the village, the owner is very friendly and he gave us good advices! The studio is quite small but clean and there is everything you need!
Review 32:Perfect! Great value for money, in the center of the town, clean and nice apartments. We were in a studio and it is obviously not a big one, but more than acceptable for what we paid!
Review 33:Very hard to find, spiral staircase steps were narrow, steep, and hard to get up with luggage, and a couple steps were ready to break. The room was very small and the bathroom was even smaller...only one person could use it at a time. Limited amount of hot water. This was a bummer night on our 16 day Spain vacation.
Review 34:Nothing! I would not recommend or stay here again.
Review 35:The apartment was located in an area that was exceptionally noisy. One evening people were partying in a bar that was very close to the apartment all through the night -until 6 am (Friday night) and on the other night (Saturday) in a restaurant just outside the bedroom window until 4am. Stairs throughout the apartment are quite dangerous.
Review 36:The uniqueness of the apartment and the town.
Review 37:The address given in website is reception address and not apartmentaddress. Reception is very hardly accessible, parking not available evenfor a minute of arrangement. Movement from reception to appartment isagainst traffic, while the street can hardly pass one vehicle. And thenavailable parking is two streets downhill and climbing is required.
Review 38:Appartment very well equipped, many levels and many spaces, designertouch is felt in every detail.
Review 39:The owner made it difficult by asking us to go to tourist information first. The advertised spa bath was not there. There was no wi if. Our apartment was opposite a noisy bar which meant windows had to be shut at night and the air conditioning was a noisy portable unit.
Review 40:Great position in the centre of Vejer. Very spacious modern furnishings. Don,t have too much luggage it is an up hill haul from the car park.
Review 41:A lot of steps within the apartment which would not be advisable for afamily with very young children
Review 42:Beautiful apartment, made the best of an unusual yet typical old spanishtown house, excellent central location in old town, area full ofcharacter and history
Review 43:room is a bit small.
Review 44:Hotel is used to be local people's house. Room is a bit small. But the price is good. The Staff is maybe just neighbour or friend of the owner, not very professional, but helpful and nice. The Top of the building is a big balcony, having several tables and chairs. good view. The location of the hotel is good. Is in the white village.
Review 45:Very small and nice romantic white village. We can recommend good restaurant in this village were is good meat - ASADOR AL ANDALUS.
Review 46:There is not proper reception and we had to call the manager, so thats very inconvinient.
Review 47:The facilities in the room were really good¡
Review 48:You'd better have top notch navigation skills, a good map and a good command of Spanish, because if you don't, you ain't gonna find it!
Review 49:Best Appartment I've Ever stayed. :) Really Big Rooms Very Nice Balcony And View Just Brilliant :)
Review 50:Unique for Pueblos Blancos, nice tarrace, great view, close to the street where you can park your car, fully equipped
Review 51:Lack of shade on the terrace
Review 52:Beautiful apartment, great location. Decor is quirky and in fitting with the old building.
Review 53:charming
