Reviews for Albergue Inturjoven Almeria

Review 1:I think it's a dorm because my neighbours in a bunch of rooms in the first floor were screaming wild and their music was very loud. The internet was not working when most in need. I also don't like the idea of being charged the extra room cost - all out of the blue they would cross out the booking.com room price.. Please mention the extra charge for those without the young-reveller's card (or whatsever it's called) in the booking terms.

Review 2:The room looked solid overall. The area is close to beach and 15m walk from the station.

Review 3:The room was very basic, the bathroom not well cleaned and people making noise in the corridors during night.

Review 4:The ambiance was nice with lot of young people.

Review 5:Overall enjoyed the hostel,Not the end of the world but had to wait 2 hours later to enter room. Perhaps more my problem but staff practically spoke no English not helpful having no introduction for breakfast, towels door closing time etc.A map of the local area would have been nice.two persons rooms, no kitchen to cook in makes it very unlikely you will wander across fellow solo travellers, hostel quest change from week to week, however got the impression mostly Spanish family use this hostel due to its close proximity to the beach.

Review 6:Comfortable, every aspect of the hostel is to clean well maintained stardard given the huge scale of the place. really close the beach, choice of local butchers, bakers grocery & large supermarket only 1 street away.WiFi really fast.

Review 7:A bit far from the city centre, it takes around 45 minutes walk. the area of the hotel is not the best (but not that bad as well).

Review 8:very clean rooms, very convenient price. I spent one night alone in a double bed dorm. and I was alone. so I spent only 20 euro and was as being in a bed and breakfast with bathroom very clean.

Review 9:This hostel has hidden cost. And interesting things you have to pay 3 euro for use the WiFi in your room just for one days and also except rent cost you have to pay 2 or more for nothing because you are not member of hostel and you don't member card, i have reques from booking service, please at least mention all of the additional cost in room rent that when we go to hostel we don't surprised for other costs like pay for member cost pay for internet and pay for everything except pay for rent, the reception even didn't give me good map for city,

Review 10:Just breakfast,

Review 11:Free Wi-Fi in the communal area was quite slow.

Review 12:Modest breakfast - small choice. Since it's located in the residential area there's plenty of free parking available.

Review 13:As previous reviews have stated, not a normal hostel. Had to wait 20 minutes on arrival before i was giving a room. Not good after driving all afternoon. More kids than real backpackers.

Review 14:Well equipt hostel. Great food. Ensuite. Booked a 3 man room and got a 2 man room all to myself. Room cleaned everyday. Plenty of parking spaces out front. Friendly staff. Near the beach.

Review 15:To use the wi-fi for free you have to have your own device, otherwise you'll pay. Moreover, free zone was only around the reception.

Review 16:The hostel was full of young people, the atmosphere was nice and welcoming. The breakfast was included and added a value. Fairly good location (15-20 minutes walk to the beach).

Review 17:- it is quite far from the beach

Review 18:-the rooms were clean and cozy. It is also a noize-less hostel and that is definite plus... -the staff are helpful and organized

Review 19:The breakfast could have been a bit better. There was no cheese, for example. The bicycles need to be repaired.

Review 20:We quite liked the hostel. The reception ladies were friendly and helpful. 6 min on food to the beach. 15 min to the city center. Table tennis, bicycles are available.

Review 21:You'd never be able to sleep late or take a siesta easily, because during the day sometimes there was loud hammering and sometimes there were kids running and screaming in the halls. It was kinda noisy.

Review 22:For the cheap price we had a two bed dorm with its own bathroom, they have us towels, the wifi is free downstairs, and the place is huge, it's like part of a complex of buildings.

Review 23:Air con not working and hard pillows so could have slept better!

Review 24:Friendly and helpful staff. Five minutes walk from beach. Lovely clean beach/water. Good base for Tabernas desert, Oasys, Mini Hollywood, etc, only 30 km, half an hour's drive. Continental breakfast included in price, vg value for money.

Review 25:The place is well looked after. The staff is kind and willing to help their guests.

Review 26:No complaints

Review 38:Well placed for beach

Review 39:it maybe hard to find the hostel, rest is good, free internet is slow but good if you buy internet package.

Review 40:most of the things, clean, good price, helpfull staff

Review 41:The hostel web site gave directions from the bus station to the hostel. I made a note of these directions and tried to follow them (on foot) but they turned out to be complete gibberish.

Review 42:20 euros for an en suite room was great value

Review 43:Felt like a prison. Cockroaches in dining hall. Breakfast was very average considering the price of the room. Loud people running around outside our room. In a very dodgy area in town.

Review 44:Not much really.

Review 45:Lack of hostel organized events to pull young people out of their rooms and integrate them.

Review 46:Clean and tidy. Great facilities. Modern building. Super clean. Generous breakfasts. Friendly staff. Minutes from the beach. Great value for money.

Review 47:The exterior aircon unit above our room was very loud and could disturb your night's sleep, so ear plugs recommended. Otherwise nothing !

Review 48:Comfortable room with surprisingly quiet location and off street parking. You can't expect luxury at these prices but it was excellent value and I would gladly return there next time I need accommodation in Almeria.

Review 49:No kitchen for our use. No free wifi in the room so had to use the lobby which had no air-con and was uncomfortably hot.

Review 50:Location was great; a short walk to the beach and the bus stops. Plenty of cafés and restaurants in the neighbourhood. Wifi free in lobby. Free basic breakfast. Air conditioning was absolutely necessary! Twin room with own bathroom. Quiet in hostel so we slept well.

Review 51:We stayed 4 nights, and only the bathroom got cleaned, the sleeping room was never cleaned, we also didn't get new towels or soap.

Review 52:Very friendly staff, a clean bathroom, supermarket nearby, sea also nearby!

Review 53:Breakfast is excellent! And towel shower stuffs included, nice

Review 54:I have an entire room for me alone

Review 56:the 24 hours reception, i paid for a bed in a 3 beds dormitory and i stayed in a 2 bed room alone, very clean

Review 57:Far from downtown

Review 58:Cheap and very clean accomodation. Close to the beach. Very friendly personal.

Review 59:good value

Review 61:The room was so tiny.
