Reviews for Agroturisme Finca Sa Maniga

Review 1:Warm, thoughtful, attentive hosts - we felt more like houseguests than hotel guests. Delicious, rustic breakfast. A superb traditional Mallorcan dinner. Beautiful house and gardens in the middle of the countryside. The perfect romantic hideaway.

Review 2:A great place but they need better directions to the Finca. A map or a short video of the route from Bunyola would be priceless! No mini bar prices, although reasonable on check out. They need some wasp traps in the public areas as the insects can get a bit overwhelming.

Review 3:Lovely friendly couple running the place. Their dog is a legend and welcomes you when you go out for the day Amazing breakfast Lovely pool area (apart from when insects attack!!)

Review 4:Not much except that the train between Palma and Soller passes close to the B&B but we were not really disturbed by that. Directions from the city centre of Bunyola could also be improved.

Review 5:Good location for those who want to explore the Serra de Tramuntana. The B&B is a bit isolated so ideal for those looking for something authentic, rustic and peaceful (it was like in the pictures). The owners were lovely and the breakfast was really nice and include some homemade local specialties.

Review 6:narrow roads but that is generally true of the whole island

Review 7:lovely location really nice friendly people super quiet at night fantastic breakfast with fresh cakes and fruit from the garden local bike shop very helpful

Review 8:Loved our time at the Finca. The owners were really lovely and welcoming. Food was delicious (breakfast made by owner daily). We enjoyed staying in a secluded area to get away from the main tourist spots. Excellent Italian restaurant nearby in the town of bunyola.

Review 9:We booked Finca Sa Maniga for a long weekend (mid July 2014) to celebrate our anniversary (young couple) and it was everything we hoped for. Rustic, peaceful and relaxing. Wonderful owners who run the hotel out of love and that care and attention shines through every little detail. We will come back again and I can recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing break. Also well located for exploring the island.

Review 10:Banyula is not a great place to be. 1km on rough tracks from the town

Review 11:Large room, bathroom and sitting room.

Review 12:Very beautiful and calm location. The owners and staff are very friendly and makes you feel at home. Very good breakfast. We hope to stay here again.

Review 13:The beautiful location, the modern luxurious apartment, the lovely home made breakfasts, but overall the welcoming and charming family hosts

Review 14:wellcoming an disponibility of our hosts, situation, breakfasts

Review 15:A lovely property in beautiful surroundings. Excellent location for exploring the Tramuntana. Friendly welcome and excellent breakfasts.

Review 16:The owners were so friendly and welcoming - I definitely hope to return at some point. I stayed in the apartment - it is very good value for money.

Review 17:Sa Maniga is a beautiful, quiet place where we spent a completely relaxing 6 days. It is walking distance to Bunyola which is a quaint little village - it's not very touristy and has a couple of authentic cafes. It is well located for driving to visit Port de Soller, Soller, Valldemossa, Palma etc. The gardens and pool at the finca are also a very pleasant way too pass the afternoon. So quiet and gorgeous! We loved our holiday here. The rooms are spacious and the breakfast is absolutely delicious. Highly recommended.

Review 18:That we had to go home

Review 19:The perfect spot. Close to everything, yet quit and calm. The smell of flowers, the sound of bells from the sheep. Beatyfull house, rooms, everything made out of love. Been there twice now. Breakfast is everything you could dream of.

Review 20:Byniola is a central point for travelling ,not much else.

Review 21:Lovely stay, welcomed by the family. The breakfast was outstanding.Would recommend to anyone, and would return again.Get there in daylight ,would be difficult to find the track road in the dark.

Review 22:We have nothing to complain.

Review 23:The hosts were very friendly, we fell in love with their dog"Fosca" !!!! We also enjoyed the breakfast every day (freshpressed orange juice, homemade cake, foccacia, fruitsalat, scrambledeggs, etc.). The landscape and the soft noises from the hills at night(frogs, sheeps, goats, cows and their bells) were beautyful. This stayis perfect for those who are looking for silence and typicalmallorquin - flair.FYI: You need a car! The way to the finca isn`t hard to find. Just take a look on a map before departure.

Review 24:Access could be a bit difficult at night.

Review 25:We stayed there end of April for 3 nights. Despite of horrible weather(did anyone say that Mallorca had to be sunny in April?) we enjoyed itvery much. The finca has style: beautiful large rooms, superb beds, individual air conditioning and heating (important for us!), elegantgenuine decorations with painting and objects from the island, extremelyquiet location in between orange groves, nice outside recreation areas(large terrace and pool with chairs and sunbeds), ample parking spaceand a delicious breakfast with many local specialities. The hosts arevery kind and helpful. The finca is located 2 km north of Bunyola, perhaps a bit difficult to find the first time. Navsat won’t help, sincethe road is not indicated in the map (at least not in our version). Youcan take along a satellite photo of the area, where the finca is clearlyvisible using the maps of booking.com. The direction to the finca isindicated once you enter the narrow asphalt road more or less alongsidethe railway, in the East of it. Then you have to watch out for a smallsign on a stone wall on the right side of the road placed in a height ofca 2-2,5m (therefore easily overlooked) indicating Sa Maniga. There youhave to turn right and go straight ahead up the hill until you seeanother sign (much better placed) directing you a bit to the leftdownhill, cross the railroad (attention!) and you are there. If you donot find your way, call the hosts and ask them (preferably in Spanish orFrench) to pick you up in Bunyola. Somebody will come within 10 minutesto an arranged meeting point: probably the best is the railway stationat Bunyola at the northern end of the town. Driving from Bunyola to thefinca means taking a narrow dirt road (which is in a rather goodcondition for a country road). If you encounter a car, then you may haveto pull back some 10-50m and find a place in one of the neighborsdriveways to let the other car pass.

Review 26:Friendly family atmosphere. We're made to feel very welcome.

Review 27:Caring and hospitable owners. Home cooked Mallorcan specialities.

Review 28:no coffee or tea making area

Review 29:like it all
