Review 1：Woodwork in room needed tidying up. A bit grubby. Kitchen not for families who cater for themselves. Big dent in our outside door and handle very wobbly and slack. Bar - lovely decor but too pricey. Looked at restaurant menu one day,didn't like choice, so didn't try at all. Nothing major or bad enough that we wouldn't use hotel again. Probably use next year.

Review 2：Location, Safe Deposit at reception, maid service every day and very pleasant and helpful staff. Paid extra for room view, well worth it. Not noisy hotel, at this time of year anyway. Reception staff very helpful also. Thoroughly enjoyed our break, although it doesn't look like it from the other side comments but we did.

Review 6：The staff were in no way friendly or welcoming. They are very slow on reception. Two people should be on reception at all times because on both visits to this hotel, I've been left standing there for ages. The beds are extremely uncomfortable and even though there were three people staying in our room, it was only set up for two. When we brought this up with reception, we just got an attitude off them like we were disturbing them, yet they were happy enough to take the money off us for three people. Also the gym and sauna were not accessible.

Review 7：We liked the pool and there being an indoor pool for when it was raining and also location was great.

Review 8：The bedding was quite smelly, but was offered 3 other rooms (but loved ours) so bedding was changed etc, still a bit smelly but the rest of the hotel made up for it!!

Review 11：Views were fantastic when moved to a room with the sea view that we hadbooked. The dining room was very pleasant and you never had to queue forbreakfast. Staff were very helpful. We would book again. Also noproblems with sunbeds. Always some available.

Review 14：Wifi was expensive. Air conditioning was absolutely brutal. Was told this was as good as it gets and tried a different room with no difference. There for 9 days and towels only changed once. Not an overly exciting atmosphere around pool area could do with a bit more lively music. View from side sea apartments was poor so do yourself a favour and get the sea frontal view apartments. No kettle or iron in apartment.

Review 15：Pool area was nice and spacious with plenty of beds and a nice sea view. Located far enough outside the busy town while still maintaining a walking distance. Some decent restaurants, bars and shops directly across the road where all the basic essentials could be got. In general hotel was very clean and had a nice relaxing atmosphere. Fantastic view available from the sea front apartments. Only a walking distance to main beach.

Review 16：Firmly stuck in the 80's whole hotel needs updating and upgrading. Very much 3 star - food is plentiful but poor! Older staff are very grumpy (no conversation at all!) Younger reception staff are more friendly!

Review 17：Great view from balcony over bay and pool area. Great space around pool with bar and walk down steps to small bays. You can walk by sea to main shops and bay at Santa Ponca within 10 mins (downhill). Very clean hotel great for family and couples.

Review 18：Hotel in general in need of upgrade. Staff unfriendly. Food low standard. Had to queue from 7.30am to get a sunbed at 8.00. Atmosphere in hotel non existent. Smallest double bed I have ever slept in. Very uncomfortable. Need another 100 sunbeds. Food to purchase very expensive. Bar staff surly. Wouldnt return.

Review 19：The view from the hotel was outstanding and we had two issues with a broken toilet seat and a poor air conditioning flow and these were rectified immediately.

Review 20：Be aware that in restaurant no drinks are included in dinner (not even water) and you will have to pay in cash. They don't accept cards for payment below 20 Eur. I didn't have cash with me first night when I came for dinner as no one told me I need to have it. And then waiters were threatening me and pushing to get cash "from air" saying if I don't carry cash with me I better not come to their hotel.

Next day we asked for another room. 5 minutes before we checked out ,we got a call from reception that we are closed to 12 o'clock and we have to check out. very unprofessional. I made a local call from the room and it cost 40 cent. at the resepsion they asked me to pay and they changed a 50 euros bil for that even though we played a lot for the room and we didn't got aircondition the first night.

Review 37：Like i said this is a great hotel, we have a 4 year old and a 6month old baby and just spent 2 weeks here. There is a childs entertainer there called patric who was great with our 5 year old and was ok with us leaving our son with him for small amounts of timw and was there till 5:30pm most days. Facilities were good and rooms were good as the bedroom is split from the rest of appartment.

Review 59：The food in the restaurant was terrible. For a family hotel, there is very little for children to eat forcing us to go elsewhere some evenings even after paying for half board. The menu was a very strange mix of inedible, hard and very tasteless food. Also, there was absolutely no evening entertainment for the whole week we were there, which for a family place in the middle of summer seems very bizarre. The rooms are not adequate for a family of four, with one member of the family having to sleep on an old, stained, fold out bed which is as comfortable as sleeping on iron bars. Kitchen facilities were also poor, one of two hobs not working and minimal, tatty cups etc.

Not ideal with 1 yr old child, nor for cost of apartment. No tokens available for laundery despite requesting 5 days running throughout the day. Pools too deep for kids if unable to swim - had 1 yr old and 6 yr old. Neither suitable. No free wifi.

Review 64：Plenty of hot water for showers. Good view of bay where available. Nice quiet spot. Not too much noise from square up the street with bars etc. About 10 mins walk to beautiful beach. Shops and restaurants right beside hotel. Not too far from Palma so handy for days out to aquarium, marineland, water park, Palma etc

Review 65：We first had a room on the ground floor which was not very nice. Humid and possibly moisture damage. When I mentioned I got a head ache from sleeping there the receptionist answered I probably got the head ache from my two children(!). After three days we got a new room, much better. The rules of the pool area says it's not possible to reserve sunbeds, yet all the beds are taken at 8 am. So you'll need to be an earlybird to be able to enjoy time poolside.

Review 114：Public rooms a bit dated bars and dining area. Had one evening meal and was not impressed not much choice so ate out other times. Few tiles on balcony broken and needed replacing. Some areas of Santa Ponca are rowdy and noisy.

Review 116：Paid extra for a sea view, which was blocked by a tree , close to the ground so could not see a thing. Staff at reception extremely rude and not accommadating bar maybe one or two. The hotel is not child friendly and provides no entertainment for kids or adults. There is a little playground with two slides and a playhouse, thats it. Kids pool is very deep and not child friendly. We had a one year who could not even stand it was that deep. Spent each day between the beach and western waterpark because of this. The adult pool was also very deep so if your a non swimmer stay clear. Also the lifeguard spent all his day sitting in a corner on his phone with no view of the kids pool. The cleaners on the other hand were very accommadating and that was probably the best part of the hotel. I would not recommend for kids and if you dont pay upfront before you go, you get shafted on the room. And this was said by staff. I will not be returning

Review 118：We didn't like the fact that you book a self catering apartment but still have to pay to hire a toaster and kettle. There is also no oven or microwave so eating in is a limited experience. The beds are not very comfortable and I had to sleep on the sofa for the week. They also charged 6 Euros per day for wifi which in this day and age should be free as most places outside the hotel have free wifi.

Review 119：We have stayed here before so it was obviously good enough for a return visit. We like the location as it is near the square where we spend most of our time. It is also handy for a variety of good eating places round about although the main part of the town is only a short walk away also. we liked our room overlooking the bay although on our first visit we had to pay 140 euros for the fortnight to upgrade to a sea view room a they tried to put us down below ground level staring at a wall. We obviously made sure we booked a room with a view on the second visit.

Review 120：The hotel doesnt have a transfer to the airport and taxis pretty expensive. I e-mailed hotel my question about getting there by public transport, but they didn't responded. Getting there by public buses is possible but you have to change buses and then walk for about twenty min to the hotel. On weekends and nights taxi to the airport is more expensive. It cost us 48 euros, otherwise it's from 38 to 41

Review 121：Our apartment was on a second floor and had a great front sea view. There was a really decent lanai (balcony) and there was everything we needed for a light cooking. We haven.t seen cleaning lady even once but the room was regularly cleaned, except the two days of the week, but it was mentioned in the notice located next to the entrance. We didn't.t use the swimming pool, instead we worked to the sandy beach which is 20 min away. I would recommend this hotel if you are on a budget and looking for a quiet vacation, and don't mind walking. We liked mahito and live music in Havana club.

Review 127：The walls are like paper you could hear everything going on in the rooms around you. Towels only changed every 3 days and you had to rent a toaster, kettle, iron etc at a cost of €2 a day!! The gym facilities were very poor.

Review 128：The hotel is located within a short walking distance from the main bars/restaurants. The price of the rooms is very reasonable and the swimming pool area is very good.

Review 129：The only thing I found a little disappointing was the food at the pool side bar..... A lot of it was quite greasy food but really this isn't a huge deal as u could order salad or spag Bol etc. I'm mentioning it because all my son wanted was chicken nuggets and chips which I found my self grimacing every time he ate it because it was so greasy..... Although he didn't mind at all :)

Review 130：I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was quiet, clean, the staff were lovely and located close to the square and shops. Was away from busy part which is what we wanted with a 3year old but yet only a short walk to the hussle and bustle. The facilities are really good and has everything u need..... Plus I have to say the beds were comfortable and apartment quite spacious for our 3adults and young child. I really couldn't fault the place at all.

Review 131：everything.. it was well worth it. all you needed was walking distance away the beach,shops restarants and the room was wonderful with beautiful see view i've seen nothing like it before. I meet a man while I was there who was on his fifth stay at the hotel. Iwould stay again.
