Review 1：A shame there are 99 Spanish channels on TV but no foreign stations.

Review 2：The room overlooking the cathedral square was really nice, with high ceilings and plenty of space. The lighting was excellent, most hotels like discreet lighting so you can't read or find your socks. The staff were friendly and we had a bottle of Cava as a welcome gesture. The breakfast is not the greatest but it's good.

Review 3：Extremely slow and uninterested staff at front desk. No mini bar no water in the room. Tried to call for Ice was had to pick it up ourselves. Sterile interior design in the room looks like a hospital

Review 4：Room and bathroom were tired, appeared clean initially but when you looked a bit further the floor was dirty, behind and on the curtains was full of dirt. Bedding old, door handle to balcony in bathroom hanging off and wouldn't shut properly. Shower suite although brown still showed signs of being worn. Room supposed to be sound proofed but was exceptionally noisy until around 2am from restaurant and foyer area 2 floors down with light streaming under the door as well. The 'jacuzzi pool' one of the reasons we booked the hotel was missing lots of tiles and had what looked like lots of white crystals at the bottom (they may have been chlorine). Needless to say we didn't go in. As we were only there for one night it wasn't worth complaining as we just wanted to get to the airport to catch our flight. Also on looking at our booking it states superior room but I doubt that the room we received was? The Hotel may look great on the pictures but it looks like it's been neglected and not maintained. I wouldn't visit again and wouldn't reccomend it to anybody. Having stayed at many hotels at a range of prices and locations throughout the world this is the first negative review I've ever left. There seemed to be a few weddings on during the day so maybe we were unlucky and received a sub standard room as the best ones were taken by wedding parties however I guess this still doesn't make it acceptable.

Review 8：A superb hotel right in the heart of the old city. Obviously in Catedral Plaza, next to the Catedral, so clock chimes start at 0800 (sunday). Very helpful staff and plenty of eating and drinking places within 5 minutes walk. Hotel restaurant was excellent quality at a reasonable place. Rooftop jacuzzi/pool a nice opportunity to relieve the summer heat.

Review 9：Staff was absolutely wonderful! We were so surprised to receive a complimentary bottle of champagne and fresh fruit in the early evening. The hotel restaurant was wonderful - excellent food and attentive staff. Highly recommend this hotel while staying in Almeria!

Review 10：Unable to use the bar one afternoon due to a private function being held. Bar staff were not very accommodating or cheerful and there were long waits to be served even when the bar was not busy. Safe did not work and was not fixed at all during our stay although this was reported more than once at reception.

Review 15：We stayed over for the night and had to leave at 5:00 am, the staff did their out most to prepare a breakfast for us at 4:45 am. Very nice staff and great place to stay, close to everything especially the tapas bars around, plenty and good.

Review 20：The price of breakfast is not cheap, but the selection was very poor. The hotel wasn't very busy & they put out the bare minimum. There was a notice saying soya milk was available, but on our 2nd morning there wasn't any - we pointed this out & rectified the next morning. The choice of fresh fruit was also very poor. A shame as the tapas in the bar were excellent. Bed very hard.

Review 22：Very noisy due to the bells of multiple churches in the surrounding areas sounding off every fifteen minutes until midnight and starting again at 8AM. Also sound resonates from the high ceilings meaning noise from people coming and going from the hotel, bar and restaurant can keep you awake until the small hours.

Review 24：The electronic equipment in the room looked good but did not work properly. The radio constantly had no signal and the CD/DVD player did not work at all seemed to have a button missing when we looked at the instructions. This was a shame because the room looked fabulous. The service in the restaurant was poor at dinner. We were mostly ignored whilst the waiter concentrated on the Spanish guests. The pudding took a long time to come and when it did the icecream was completely in liquid form.

Review 27：Overlooking the cathedral the renovation and decor of the hotel is superb large room, mine was on the top floor with a huge deck adjacent to the pool area, great bar and restaurant and generous breakfast. A comfortable home from home in the old part of town.

Review 85：The location next to the Cathedral was stunning. It was central to all that Almeria offers. Very impressive entrance hall. The staff were efficient and friendly.

Review 88：I have stayed at this hotel on a few occasions and feel that the rooms are looking slightly shabby. The grouting around the shower was brown and there were patches on the side of the bath where it had been rubbed down and not finished. No water in rooms. On my last visit there were small bottles of water in a large container on the landing outside the rooms but this time there were none.

Review 90：The breakfast was very poor. There was only some bread. A bit of marmalade,a little bit of "fresh" cheese.The croissent where small and tasted of oil. The waiter was not interested at all to serve the breakfast. It was horrible!! When we arrive we had booked a place in the garage for 16 Euro a night. So we came by car in front of the hotel. Nowbody helped us and we had to find the garage in Calle Real what is a 15 min walk. When we left the hotel we had to walk with our luggage again to garage. The bathroom . When we took a shower the water went everywhere over the floor,because there was no bathmat. I think we paid to much for this hotel and I never come again.
