Reviews for Paradise Park Fun Lifestyle Hotel
Review 1:I was not happy about the shower room offered on the day of living but as soon I spoke to the staff to reception I was offered a free room. This is what I expected to be offered in the first place.
Review 2:The staff were lol very helpful. The air conditioning did not work in our room and we were upgraded free of charge. The room was cleaned and the sheets and towels changed regularly.
Review 3:Breakfast was a bit disappointing. However we were not eating in the hotel much as the feast of food at restaurants down the road was excellent.
Review 4:Room was clean and nice. Price was well priced. Staff were excellent with all questions and problems. Called cabs and taxis for us at all hours.
Review 5:Although the beds were very comfortable" we as a couple would prefer a double bed instead of two single beds pushed together
Review 6:The staff were very good the food was excellent" the entertainment was very good too.
Review 7:Prettiest and best Swimming Pool too cold to swim in. Warmed one too shallow to swim roof one warm but not big enough too many children in the family pool. Free wi fi useless - should have free good wifi as a norm in hotel like this.
Review 8:Staff friendly food good
Review 9:Not enough instructions on facilities. Special request for room to be ready between 10-11am but staff said no knowledge of this so didn't get in til 2pm. No mention of sister hotel available. No minibar in room as far as I could see which was on booking too.
Review 10:Entertainment, access to drinks+snacks. Plenty of space in room. Nice food.
Review 11:Nothing to do with hotel,my husband had his wallet stolen on the front at Los Cristianos, very stressful sortingthings out cards ,money etc
Review 12:Booked superior room with pool view they had upgraded us when we arrived but view was of supermarket and apartments
Review 13:The food was ok but we have had a lot better last two years at other 4 star hotels. No branded drinks on all inclusive unlike Barcelo hotels. And the suite Atlantis we stayed last year in Fueteventura some areas of the hotel/rooms need attention which they are getting in the refurbishment April / June
Review 14:The staff are great. night entertainment was very good. Pools and gardens are fantastic. we had a top floor Suite which was two story and had two balconies. We had a afternoon in the spa and massage rooms for our wedding anniversary, that was fantastic. Good location with plenty of bars and restaurants right outside even though a quite location.and a nice 15 minute walk down to the sea front. All in all a good hotel that with a few tweaks could be excellent. the hotel closes in mid April for a couple of months for refurbishment so hopefully will be great when it re opens in June
Review 15:Having stayed at this hotel in the last, we were very disappointed at the decor of the room, very tired and in desperate need of a refurb. Also the noise from others staying in the hotel was so bad that we cut our stay short.
Review 16:No WiFi in the room (you have to go downstairs since the reception floor is the only place where there is WiFi coverage). A bit far away from the beach and city centre (at least 1km down hill to go and up hill to come back!!!). The structure is old which is quite a pity: the hotel itself is really beautiful... but 20 years ago it should have been much nicer!!! A bit of renovation is necessary to have a fair quality/price ratio.
Review 17:The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The hotel offers a rich breakfast and the rooms are large and cozy (we stayed in a Superior Suite). The swimming pools are beautiful and clean. There are some pubs and restaurants nearby that can be reached on foot.
Review 18:Room draughty and uncomfortable with appalling wind noise resulting in curtains permanently at 45 degrees due to wind blowing under French windows! Bathroom virtually unusable due to little or no hot water. After advising management it took a plumber one hour to restore a trickle of hot water but the spa bath (45 minutes to fill) and shower (indecipherable buttons with no instructions) still did not work at which point we gave up. TV did not work, the room was gloomy and poorly furnished and the bed, although large, was uncomfortable and cold due to inadequate coverings. The only restaurant that was open was unable to supply any menu or prices - we ate out! Fortunately we were only staying for 24 hours as any greater length would have resulted in going elsewhere. The final insult was an apparent bargain from reception of a fixed price of €25 - paid to them - for a taxi to the airport. When we got there the price on the driver's meter showed €17.25 so the moral is - get your own taxi! Avoid this very mediocre and dated hotel at all costs!
Review 19:Absolutely nothing I can think of.
Review 20:No help with bags. Had to carry our own. Room was dirty, small, and cramped. Doorknobs were sticky. Metal furniture was scratched and dirty. Very dimly lit...everywhere. Bathroom noise from next room was horrible. Electrical outlets were under furniture. Very hard to reach. We left the next morning.
Review 21:Nothing
Review 22:The gym needs to be looked after a bit better. On the Sunday locals were allowed at the pool and my son saw my sun glasses getting stolen - not a nice last day
Review 23:the pools , the gym, the reception staff were very helpful.
Review 24:We only purchased the breakfast option as we wanted to eat out and experience varied dishes each night. Whilst the breakfast bar is kept in great shape by the staff and has a good variety of food, the overall quality of the food was average. This of course depends on your expectations of food quality. To put it into perspective, for a typical 4 star sea side resort the food was on par. When compared to a 4 star hotel back in Ireland the food falls far behind in quality. The pastries are not fresh and are far too sugary. They taste the same as the pastries you get out of the bag in lidl. Only a selection of 3 cereals that all tasted worse than what you'd expect them to taste like. Hot food was a hit and miss depending on what you got. Drinks, crepes, fruit, yogurt were all average. Not too bad but nothing to shout about. You easily get the impression some of the food was dished out from massive containers they import. The same situation applies for the buffet dinner at night time. We choose to eat here on one of the nights and the meal was disappointing. We had been dining at a nearby restaurant called Taurus ( Paradise Park guests get 10% off ) where the food is freshly prepared and cooked and the difference in taste is substantial. The same goes for the snack foods at the bars around the resort. Yes the food will fill you if you are hungry but is it worth paying extra for all inclusive? Definitely not! The food is cheap and not worth the extra you pay.Similarly I was at the bar on night and asked for a Mojito. After quickly making one the bar tender walked over. He handed me the drink and saw that I had 5 euros in his hand. He immediately asked me if I was not all inclusive service. When I replied saying no he told me to hold on and he will make me a proper one. I watched him make both. The all inclusive version of the drink contained a glass of 7 up, a splash of rum and a mint leaf on top.
Review 25:The hotel is ideally located on the top of a hill. It is near a large selection of restaurants and bars whilst being about a 15 minute walk from the beach and the restaurants and entertainment there. It is only a few minutes walk away from the main bus terminal and an even shorter walk to the pickup points for most shuttle bus services to tourist attractions. The cleanliness of the hotel is fantastic. The maid service is superb, on one of the days they even neatly laid out some of our belongings we have misplaced. The service provided by the staff is on the same level. They constantly give it their all. They are friendly, courteous and helpful. Reception is available 24 hours. The facilities of the hotel are top notch. There is no shortage of pools which there being 5 spread around the complex! The adult only pool areas is a fantastic idea and allows you peace to relax. The rooftop pools and hot tubs are wonderful due to the spectacular view. The entertainment was varied and mostly entertaining. The rooms are modern and clean. They have large wardrobes and well equipped bathrooms. The showers are very large and have a wide range of shower head options. However the side panels are not sealed properly which can lead to a flooded bathroom floor. Be sure to place towels down! Also make sure to ask for a room on a higher floor if possible. We were given a room on the first floor initially. The view from the room was of a tree ( you could barely see the pool, yet we had a booked a pool or sea view room) The noise from the bars ( which close at 12 ) as well as the fountain of water outside was very disturbing. We immediately asked if we could move and they very quickly and happily accepted our request. They had to wait for a room to vacate first. They even moved our luggage for us into our new room.
Review 26:all inclusive stops at 11pm would have liked to see it go on to 12. if i wanted to see main shows i had to sit for 2 hours through stuff for kids in order to get a seat.
Review 27:good food and drink plenty of every thing. staff very friendly and helpful. adult pool areas and maids cleaned room with fresh towels every day.
Review 28:location away from the busiest part of the area
Review 29:I have sent you anemail and await your reply
Review 30:Not enough sun beds at peak times
Review 31:The whole experience, we have been to this hotel 10+ times
Review 32:Nothing.
Review 33:Everything! Great location, great staff, areas for kids and separate areas for adults.
Review 34:The beds are hard as rock. Being 20 weeks pregnant was not the best for comfort.
Review 35:Friendly and helpful staff, good entertainment, 'Oldies' duo particularly. Titsa service bus stops nearby
Review 36:Glass lifts! Adult only areas and pools. Free bus to beach.

Review 45:Queueing for breakfast. The smell of burning incense coming from the spa.
Review 46:Adult only pool areas. Entertainment.
Review 47:Tired hotel in need of refurbishment.
Review 48:Good choice of food on HB
Review 49:Repetitive menu choices for meals.
Review 50:Loved the pool area on the 8th floor.
Review 51:Our room..it was huge and clean,
Review 52:After all the great food and drink we put on a few extra kilos!
Review 53:The staff are just outstanding in this hotel. From when arrive at the door you meet Gino to the last drink of the with Juan! Can't fault them at all. The food also is outstanding! We would recommend All Inclusive to everyone going.
Review 54:Be aware school holidays very busy and noisey. Evening entertainment could be a bother in some rooms so avoid those if you want to sleep before midnight. Beds and pillows not so comfortable.
Review 55:Staff give outstanding service. Lovely view to the sea, 5 pools to choose from including one which is child free. Room very clean. Location handy to shops restaurants and the town.
Review 56:Did not like the smoking on the terrace where the food was being served at lunchtime.
Review 57:The fact there was adults only pool. And sunbathing area .the food was excellent plenty of choice.entertaiment every night.
Review 58:quality of the cocktails in the all inclusive package were very poor.Better to pay a little extra to have premium drinks.
Review 59:food and entertainment were excellent. Staff very helpful and the cleanliness of hotel was excellent. Would certainly return.
Review 60:Did not get the room we booked. Although given a 2 bedroom apartment instead, it was in need of upgrading.
Review 61:Location & surrounding facilities. The gardens & pools very well maintained.
Review 62:Only stayed for one night but the Hotel is a bit of a distance from the sea front up a steep hill. If we were given the Colonial Suite it would certainly minimize the steep walk !!
Review 63:We checked in at lunch time and were told our room was not ready This went on until 5.30 pm and room was still not available We were eventually given the Colonial Suite and free buffet dinner to compensate for our very long wait. The suite was beautiful so the long wait was worth it. The views from the Suite were amazing. Thank you to Hotel Reception for making up for the very long delay.
Review 64:The poor sky channels if weather not good which is a small point but mainly that they are under estimating the importance of the bed pillows. They are appalling. Really! That fact would put me off going back. They are like sleeping on a rolled up blanket. Such a shame.
Review 65:Generally this is a good place to stay. Staff are very pleasant and seem happy in their work which is a good sign. It is spotless and the food whilst buffet, is too a good standard.
Review 66:Food was a bit disappointing - whilst there was a wide range on offer much of the hot meat options were more at the poor/ fatty end of the scale ...
Review 67:Upgraded to a suite at no extra cost which was beautiful - very grand!
Review 68:Was a bit of a hike (uphill) to get to it from beaches/hotels/bus station... easy for younger folks, but for the older crowd or with limited mobility, this is not the place for (but lets be real.. everything in tenerife is build on a mountain/hill so this is expected). Our room was VERY outdated, dips in the bed, cracks in floor, mold in shower etc (room 315)... was not worth the 112Euro per night.. would value with breakfast around 80 Euro. ...But the hotel staff was very courteous!
Review 69:Hotel grounds were very nice. Great pools, bars, Breakfast was Awesome... like no other! If its a breakfast food, they had it! Adult only area were nice, but hotel was also very kids friendly.
Review 70:A not so friendly staff member in the excursions office who was the most rudest person I have ever come across !!
Review 71:The staff were extremely friendly , our room was upgraded for free. It was my birthday whilst I was out there & staff gave me a bottle of champagne. The roof top pool and jacuzzi's were brilliant , I would definitely return.
Review 72:When we arrived we received an upgraded room which was huge and really lovely, we also got upgraded from B&B to half board . The staff were really lovely too.
Review 73:The bus to and from Los Cristianos stops for a long time during the day and we had to pay for taxis to get back to the resort. The drinks were expensive as we were not all inclusive.
Review 74:We loved the fact that the staff were so friendly, the food was excellent and plenty of choice, the pools were fantastic, the weather was amazing and the whole complex was very luxurious. We also used the spa and really enjoyed this.
Review 75:Black Mildew between tiling on shower wall and rusty bar holding shower partition together. Tea/coffee area in room badly marked on worktop did not give good impression.
Review 76:Good leisure facilities. All Staff very helpful and communicative.
Review 77:1) All Inclusinve formule limited. For some items still to pay extras.2) Dress code at evening diner absolutely not being applied. Reduces overall standing of the hotel. Big disappointment.
Review 78:Maaltijden. Roof Solarium. Adult Only facilities. Families with childrenaway from adult only rooms.
Review 79:i did not really like where it was situated.on top of a steep hill.but ,i used taxis to get up the hill.i am elderly though.so younger people would not have my problem.having said that, its no fault of the hotel as they do provide free transport in the day time to los cristianos and a return service.
Review 80:everything.the staff,my appartment 160 situated on the ground, where i wanted to be.the food was nice.very good selection.the simming pools were good,5 of them.
Review 81:Position of the hotel - although a bus provided not a hotel for those that dont or cant walk very far. The position of the hotel in Los Cristianos meant that going for a walk we always had to go the same way down the coast line which meant it was a little repetative. For this reason we would not recommend to friends and family to visit this hotel.
Review 82:Food in the restaurant was excellent. Staff both at reception, in the dinning hall, room service all very helpful and courteous. Went out of their way to provide the best customer service that they could. Nearby restaurants and bars. Food reasonable if wanting to eat out.
Review 83:Location is not ideal: It is a long walk to the beaches and the city centre. On the other hand the bus station is not far away and there are many shops, bars and restaurants nearby.
Review 84:Very spacious room with balcony. Actually a sitting room, a bathroom and a bedroom with seperate toilet and huge walk-in closet. Both rooms had a big flatscreen TV.
Review 85:Rooms in need of redecoration. Common areas need better cleaning. Had abusiness meeting at the hotel which was a disaster. No where to sit, nopublic areas to charge laptops and no where to get the client a coffeebefore 11am.
Review 86:Ok for what it was but really wasn't all that!
Review 87:Our junior suite was spacious needed modernizing.Kitchen area was a bit poor.
Review 88:Pool areas were lovely.
Review 89:Staff couldn't do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very friendly.
Review 90:manners of the staff
Review 91:Poor wi-fi :(
Review 92:Nice breakfast
Review 93:Loved the Leisure park, very quiet and relaxing. Food was great, great variety. Overall, I would recommend it to other travelers.
Review 94:I asked the receptionist to book a restaurant for me and she refused.. Also no iron or safe. Basically just a very very average hotel
Review 95:everithing was great :) it was the best time
Review 96:Beds seriously uncomfortable
Review 97:Staff excellend and good choice of pool areas
Review 98:Long queue at reception to check in
Review 99:Location and amenities
Review 100:Food,value for money, friendliness of all staff and entermaint.
Review 101:Location
Review 102:Friendly staff and clean pools
Review 103:not as clean as expected (hair on the wall of the bath room, bed sheets) breakfast not tasty other guests
Review 104:the weather location up grade
Review 105:There were some noisy teenagers in the hotel on Friday and Saturday
Review 106:I thought the staff were so nice and helpful
Review 107:the hotel was not full which meant plenty of room and it was quite and peaceful in the evenings
Review 108:Everything: sea view, location, dining room, friendly staff
Review 109:Its a nice, friendly hotel to stay in while on holidays / shopping
Review 110:air slightly smelly on our balcony
Review 111:all round good value & very friendly staff
Review 112:not enough hot water for a shower, need to let water run for awhile before getting some warm water at a very low pressure.
Review 113:Great location!
