Review 1：Hate the fact that you can hear the noise in the corridors from inside your hotel room which isn't good at midnight! and your neighbours at times wouldn't stay here in the summer hols would be too busy

Review 2：I love this hotel as its right on the beach and the food is really good and the pool is clean

Review 3：Barcelona, and its surroundings, at this time is a dirt and overcharged city to visit. For better value money there are some other cities in the world worth visiting. The hotel itself is not bad, however expect late at night noise due to the usual staying guests.

Review 7：The hairdryer in the bedrooms They were useless. I ended up burning my hand. My sister and mother said the same about the hairdryers in their rooms. I asked reception if they had a spare dryer to no avail. I would bring my own next time round!

Review 11：Rooms need some update, overall all seems ok but just something to make it special and up to this date. Our vacation was end of season so that might be also seen in room cleanest. People were receiving places from pool, but no one was not using those for hours, would be good from hotel to collect towels away to give more places to others. Anyway, I would visit again this hotel.

Review 14：Small pool with not enough sunbeds (most of them are reserved with towels the whole day, but with no people on them). This should be controlled somehow by the staff. Wi-fi is only paid. Drinks are not included in the full-board. You have to pay for them.

The spontaneous market for the emigrants operating till the yearly morning, it seems that spontaneous sellers are on the hotel territory. Difficult to walk and ride the bike. Very old TV sets, poor channel list.

They treated us almost as criminel and they didn't give us back the towels (How can we do for the shower...). It was really stupid situation. Only for that, I will never come back again. - breakfast is very bad too, extremely low quality food. - Very noisy with many kids playing around

Review 32：There was no air conditioner and the room was 30C. There was a show downstairs really loud until 1am, hence opening the window not an option with the babies. Response from the staff was screw you we will only have heat until May 15th. I asked for a cuadruple room, they gave me a double with big beds. I went to reception, the guy told me to look under the bed, there should be extrabeds below for the kids, there were none. Next day, the lady at reception told me they don't have that type of room any more. Parking is charged aside. Breakfast is the worst you will ever get, don't even think on paying for it. Solo había calefacción y estabamos a 30 grados, el personal fue totalamente desagradable, la habitación no era lo que pedimos, el dsayuno fatal y el parking lo cobran aparte.

Review 37：Rooms had a small fridge but it was locked! You had to pay 1.5 € a day if you wanted to use it. Free WiFi only in lobby, very annoying.

Review 38：We travelled with a 2yo and it was the perfect place to go to the beach, just across the street. Food was delicious! The only but is that though they said they had kids menu (mostly pasta and fries), they didn't have veggy purée every day.

Review 46：Staff are typical Catalan, so don't expect any customer service. The restaurant was busy, noisy at times, but well run, I don't think we could have dined there for more than the 5 days. The walls are 'paper thin' you can hear 'everything' from the rooms either side. The entertainment starts at 22.00, again, quite Mediterranean, but finished at midnight(ish) so if you had retired before this time, you will hear everyone, coming back to their rooms. This wasn't too much of a problem, as I had read this was the case before arrival and the hotel does cater for French, Spanish, German and Russian guests over and above UK guests.

Review 47：Food was fine and pretty varied. The location is closer to Salou, but also walking distance to Cambrils. The pool was great, the beach is only five steps away from the hotel and it's a great, safe beach. I would imagine the experience would be different in July or August, but being late October it wasn't particularly busy.

Review 50：1) Accessibility - The renfe in Salou is about 15-20 minutes walk from Augustus. It is almost always late and only services every 2 hours to Tarragona.2) Dining room - When we arrived, we were so tired and hungry already because it was 2:30pm. The reception team instructed us that we can already go straight to take our lunch before the restaurant closes at 3pm. Maria Jose was so considerate as to let us leave our luggage securely near the entrance of the restaurant. However, her guy companion castigated us for that. It is good that we can speak Spanish and could reason out, aside from the help that Maria Jose gave us. We were so offended by the guy. He did not give a good impression of himself and of the hotel to valued costumers because he was more concerned with the rules than the welfare and comfort of the clients. We hope he can be a bit more relax so visitors can have a great Augustus hotel experience. It is not an excuse that they are "only" 3 stars and we had our discounted booking thru booking.com. It is not only insulting to customers but he devalues himself and the hotel. 3) Sound proofing could be made better. One could hear the conversations along the hallway and adjacent rooms. 4) The pastry doughs are okay but can be made lighter and fluffier so it would be more delicious.

Review 51：1) Nearness to the beach - excellent location!2) Reception - We were not able to arrive on time the day before so we called up the reception. Rosa was very accommodating in noting our late arrival. She also counseled us how to reach the place more easily. She even underlined that we can still claim the lunch meal that we missed out. The guy at the reception (sorry, we were not able to get his name) when we were leaving told us about it. Thank you for their graciousness. 3) Food was very good especially the warm meals that are cooked in situ.

Review 55：The best room yet! Overlooking the whole beach as well as swimming pool. Upgrade to bathroom and balcony good. Food good as ever, pleased they stick to Spanish food and not try to copy other European food. Lucky this visit not to have large parties of children, sometimes happens when we have been before. Good entertainment, weather hot enough for it to be outside.

Review 58：We stayed there for a week, with 17 months old baby and older daughter. Overall the hotel is very tired and does need a refit. The view from the window was on the main street, which was very noisy. I could hear next-door neighbors coughing or showering. Poor cleanliness in the room, cleaning stuff always came to clean the room when the baby was sleeping. Staff were rude, with poor English rolled their eyes often, The food quality was poor, many times they served re-heated food from previous day. I would not recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel a little bit appreciated as a customer.

Review 123：Some of the Spainish guest in the hotel were extremely rude and allowed their children to run riot, though strictly spesking this is not the fault of the Hotel but they might ask guest to control their children. The entertainment was limited as it was the end of the season. The animations team at the Halloween Fancy dress made absolutely no effort to include anyone who didn't speak Spanish, the included German & French guest in the hotel. For this reason alone I would not return to this hotel as I've a 14 yr old who speaks English & some French. I would not recommend this hotel to qanyone who doesn't speak Spainish

Review 124：I liked the location, the pool area and the food was quite good,though the choice was quite limited, this may have been because there weren't many people in the hotel earlier in the week. When the Hotel was then invaded for the bank holiday weekend to choice improved somewhat. Most of the Hotel staff were helpful and friendly.

Review 125：A minor point, for the evening meals they always used to allocate the same tables. this year there were lots of coach parties (noisy school groups)so you could never be sure where you were sitting.

Review 126：The atmosphere was relaxing, even though the hotel was busy. Breakfast was good, though i got bored of the evening meals which were child friendly but rather dull and tepid. The proximity to the sea and the pool, bar and entertainment are all good. We used stay here out of season every year but this is the first time back for 5 years. Still love it. We explored the area a bit more this year and went to the wine producing area. Looking forward to doing that again next year.

Review 132：Its a busy 'package tour' type hotel but was efficiently run, the food was excellent, most of the staff friendly. We wondered if it was our type of hotel but we were pleasantly surprised at how well it was run. We appeared to be the only English couple staying, with Russian, German and French being the main guests. Disconcerting that the first TV channels are in Russian, then German. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean with balcony overlooking pool and beach. Everything was constantly being kept in applepie order. We were impressed and would stay again. Very reasonable price.

Review 133：Only a small tooth glass per person in room and bar staff did nt allowfor wineglasses up to the room - don't like drinking wine from toothglass. At check -in for the second year running no record of the booking-had to depend on the booking confirmation form for proof.
