Review 1：I loved absolutely everything about the hotel and will definitely be returning next year. The location, staff , decor and size of Apartment are excellent and would be hard to beat. I would recommend this hotel as the best acommadation in Puerto Rico

Review 7：We had a great welcome from Jan on Reception at almost midnight on Christmas Day - with the offer of a drink at the bar and a hamper of goodies waiting for us in our suite because we had missed dinner - nice touch. Suite 308 had everything you could want, and views from the balcony out to sea and the sunset in one direction and over the harbour in the other. The seawater infinity pool never felt crowded; massage treatments highly recommended. The seating area on the rocks right by the sea and cliff was beautiful in the late evening with a drink from the pool bar (open till midnight) watching the waves, moon and stars.

Review 8：Location of our room too close to noise from entertainment. Not enough kitchen cutlery. No dishwasher. Confusion at reception around whether children pay for breakfast.

Review 9：Away from hustle and bustle located by the harbour. Spotless facilities and rooms. Good breakfast options. Super swimming pool. Good choice of restaurants nearby. Great great views.

Review 10：The beds were not that comfortable and the temperature of the water in the shower was a constant mix of scalding to freezing. There were also ants in our kitchen and bathroom but hotel staff provided spray for same which thankfully worked.

Review 16：There was a lot of noise from the hotel's cooling system - you could not hear the sea, despite the fact that the hotel was just a few meters from the sea ... WIFI was very unstable / bad !!! When you pay around around 280 euros for a day, the hotel address these problems !!!

Review 24：Everything. Our Suite was just amazing with Marina and Sea Views. We spent loads of the time by the pool as it's basically the beach. The infinity pool is stunning. We also found staff to be extremely friendly and helpful.

Review 25：Very cramped, busy pool area with sunbeds crammed together leaving no room between beds. Notices everywhere stating it's forbidden to reserve beds with towels but management do not enforce it so notices are just ignored meaning the unacceptable scenario of dozens of beds lying empty for hours with towels on them. Staff need to do something about this.

Review 27：I did not have a bad experience but I wish the restaurant was not a buffet but a sit down restaurant where you could order from a menu.

Review 29：The town was not pretty but we ate in a few nice restaurants also didn't like the constant begging from restaurant staff in the town to eat in their restaurants as you walked past them. The sunbeds were a little crammed in and people were reserving beds and getting away with it. Less of an issue for us as we stayed during a quieter week but would be a problem during peak time.

Review 30：The suites, the staff, the outdoor pool and sea view and the breakfast all very good.

Review 31：Not a bad experiance but uncomfortable as the air conditioning didnt work properly in our room all the time we were there. The engineers did come up a few times to check it but they said that it may need a new part, not sure if the new part arrived but the temperature never went down in the apartment, think the connection on the balcony door need fixing as we had to pull the door very hard to close so the air conditioning would start. Our bedroom always had a damp smell and the clothes hanging on the rails outside the wardrobe felt damp, we always had the window open due to the air con not working properly so it could have been that. apart from those two things our visit was lovely.

Review 32：The location was great as was the pool, the seats on the rocks are brilliant for a quiet seat looking out to see and a nice glass of wine to watch the sunset. The staff are very friendly and will go out of their way to help you enjoy your time at the hotel and the food is good at the pool bar. The rooms are nice and large and have wonderful views, beds were very comfortable, we were self catering and had all our meals on the balcony which overlooked the Marina, sunsets were beautiful. A big thank you to the hotel and staff for the wine,chocolates,cake and champagne left in our room for my husbands 65th Birthday, it made his day:)

Review 33：I got a bad throat infection. The doctor told me hotels don't change their aircon filters often enough but, to be fair, this has happened to me previously so it would be wrong to say this hotel is any worse than others. There wasn't a hotel/facilities guide in the room. We asked if we could get lunch one day, knowing we wouldn't be back to the hotel in time for dinner. The answer was a polite but firm no. Puerto Rico is a little tired.

Review 34：Staff were very welcoming, professional and friendly, right up there with the very best, in my experience. Room was of a good size with a spacious balcony and a great view. We arrived too late for dinner and were pleasantly surprised to find a picnic basket of food and some orange juice had been left for us. The food was really good but could have been kept hotter.

Review 42：We were upgraded to a deluxe suite. Loved how large the apartments were; the balcony alone was the size of a small room. Comfortable beds, good bathroom, fresh modern decor throughout. The infinity pool was really lovely, if a little smaller than I imagined it would be. Had a massage in the spa area behind the pool and sun-loungers, and it was bliss - highly recommended. Strong wifi signal even out on the balcony. The complimentary bottle of water in the fridge when we arrived was a nice touch and very welcome after a tiring bus journey from the airport.

I have never came across such beautiful staff that go out of their way to help. Even cleaning staff are so so friendly. Entertainment staff are amazing. Pool was fantastic. We had no issues getting beds. Already looking to book for next year. Marina suites is just the added bonus with children.

Review 70：The location is fantastic. The pool area is amazing - especially the infinity pool, Jacuzzi area and pool bar/restaurant. The rooms are spacious, clean and very modern. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful - A wonderful place to stay, we couldn't ask for more.

Review 71：two issues arose. firstly i got food poisoning on the tuesday night so spent Wednesday being sick (a dozen times) and effectively didnt eat again until Thursday evening, so lost two days of our holiday. secondly, on the Wednessday night my husband went to dinner on his own - as I was being sick - he was asked to leave and put a proper shirt on - he was in a teeshirt - as were the majority of the other men in the restaurant. Nothing had been mentioned Monday or Tuesday night. The waiter was rude and smirking. I spoke to the waiter on the Thursday night and asked him where on their website/booking form was there a stated dress code. He said there wasnt and tried to blame his manager. I asked to see his manager, she wasnt available! he continued to smirk, shrug his shoulders etc. we found him, rude, supercilious and unhelpful. it spoilt what had been a holiday intended for me to recuperate from an operation - 34 stitches, was in a sling and heavily bandaged etc. The rating re breakfast related to the fact that it was often cold (hot buffet).

Review 72：majority of the staff were fabulous, with one noteable exception - see next section. after we complained the PR lady phoned us on the Friday and offered a £10 voucher. I stated more importantly i would like to see them clarify things on their website and she agreed that thus far they hadnt and that they would now. we were leaving the next day on the evening flight so they extended our room until 5pm for free as a gesture of apology. it was handled very well and in line with our expwerience of all the other staff.

No chance to arrange late check out as hotel very busy and you can only use courtesy room for 30min which is not enough even to take a proper shower for a family of 4 ( with 2 kids).

Review 89：Prior to our arrival apparently the hotel had been closed for seven weeks as refurbishments were taking place, during our stay we were woken in the morning to drilling and banging noises, some days this went on until gone 6pm. I would have thought the hotel would have notified guests before there stay that maintenance was being carried out, when approaching the hotel regarding this issue they offered us a room change but this wasn't the issue we couldn't fault the room itself.

Review 90：On arrival we were offered a glass of champagne which was a lovely touch after a long journey. Our room was on the first floor, very modern, and very well furnished with our own private four poster bed outside. The room was in a great location over looking the jacuzzi, and pool area. I would definatly recommend the hotel restaurant, we had a set menu for dinner over looking the sea and the food was amazing.

Review 93：Unfortunately there was building working being conducted on lower floors during our stay. When you're on holiday you really don't want woken at 8.00am with the sound of hammer drills reverberating through the room. Wifi wouldn't work in the room, only by the restaurant.

Review 97：The only gripes I'd have to mention is that they give two single beds, not a double, and the beds move about. We ended up sleeping in the front room. One of the cleaning staff was very rude. She came in muttering in Spanish and slamming plates etc in the sink, and generally ignoring any attempts to communicate with her. The other couple in our group had the same experience with her. We could not connect to our own wi-fi and had to use other rooms'. Certain areas in the room don't get wifi. Other than that, the hotel do offer a later check out option (for an additional fee) and we were told to call back in the morning which we did. We were told we could have the room till 2 and fee would be confirmed but they never called back and good thing we checked because we only had it till 1 - free of charge though :) Thanks Marina for another enjoyable trip to Puerto Rico.

Review 98：Again, Marina Suites was a delight to stay in. Since our stay last year, the hotel has been undergoing renovations, and apart from some noise in the mornings as they worked below, this didn't really bother us. We were given a choice of champagne or pineapple juice at check in and had lunch in the hotel restaurant whilst our room was ready. We were two couples and we were given rooms 605 and 607. The rooms were newly renovated so we were the first ones in and it was perfectly cleaned and serviced. There was a bottle of wine waiting in each room and they have enlarged the kitchen space. Breakfast was lovely and the restaurant has lovely views.

Paid Marina Suites Charge but got Marina Bayview and Cheap TV Stations

Review 106：Not much to say. Parking is an issue. Hotel has a limited number of passes, which would cost you €35 per week. Marina offers parking at €11/day. Some on-road parking near-by, but beware of yellow lines/curbs, they will end you up with a ticket!

Review 107：Food was great, alternating Buffet and A la Carte, and buffet breakfast. Big spacious, beautiful rooms with all amenities. Positioned in the marina, all rooms have sea view(i believe) and some also look out over marina and town.

Review 108：Beds not comfortable. Breakfast not that great. Just little things, no butter, strawberry spread not jam. They were closing for 6 weeks as we were leaving. So can only hope that little things will be recfified.

Review 111：People hogging every sunbed with towels despite warning that Lifeguard would remove towels if not attended within 30 minutes, never seen a single towel removed from any beds. Need to get to pool at crack of dawn to stand a chance of a good spec. Little kids unattended in hot tubs. Review 112：Sunset view from Marina view rooms is spectacular, reception staff especially Alex, size of room was huge, balcony great, cleanliness, maid was brilliant, infinity pool is great, location is great for boat trips.

Review 113：Bedrooms were on the inside part (next to the corridor) and it was noisy when someone would speak louder but we didn't have such noisy neighbors luckily. Swimming pool was always busy so we didn't even try to go there, also the chairs were all one next to each other. Biggest problem were the lifts, only 3 small lifts for a 9 floor building and many guests, one lift was broken so we always had to wait average 5-10 min.

Review 114：The suites were very clean and spacious, large balcony with great views (better to be above 4th floor). Restaurant had variety of food for dinner but there was always something good for small children also (meat and fish cooked in different ways). Resto was also spacious and relaxed, I guess not all people had food included in the stay. Parking was around 30 euros (it was the marina parking with special tariff for the hotel) but you can park literally in front of the hotel entrance. Views on the marina were great. Kitchen equipped with all what's needed except dish washer but the cleaning ladies did the dishes. Swimming pool was very nice and breakfast was just next to the pool with great views over the sea.

The theme of the hotel was that of a cruise liner - from the staff uniforms to the "cabins" and lived up to all that you would expect! The infinity pool was beautiful though. The food was also excellent, and very good value, and the entertainment provided nightly was an unexpected bonus. We will definitely return to this lovely hotel.

Review 125：If you come with a rental car there is no other choice than paying the parking fees which are charged by the minute (the daily maximum applies only when the car is not moved). The hotel should establish a solution with the parking administrator for its guests. Wifi is not very reliable.

Review 127：The only negative point is trying to obtain a hotel parking pass at 35 Euros per week. You'll be put on a waiting list but will need to pay the marina 11 euro per day until you get a hotel pass. It would be good if this issue could be rectified but this only applies if you have a car.

Review 128：This was our second Easter at the marina suites and what a great time we had. I don't think there's a better location on the island. Everything fits well at this hotel.

Review 131：Everything. The pool and pool bar facilities and the suite are just fantastic and the entertainment day and night for children and adults was excellent. 5th family holiday to this hotel gets better every time.

Review 139：The hotel is comfortable, clean and of an ordinary standard. The pool is beautiful with the most amazing view and wonderful for adults and older children. However, the children's pool is quite small and limited.

Please note the restaurant opens from 6:30 pm until 9 pm in winter and from 7:30 pm until 9:30 pm in summer.Cleaning takes place 5 times a week.Please note that from May 2015, one child up to 6 years old stays free in existing beds.
