Sumus Hotel Stella & Spa*** is a charming family-run hotel, located in the coastal city of Pineda de Mar, 500 feet from the beach, 5 minutes' walk from the shopping area and 10 minutes from the train station that connects with Barcelona and Girona in just 1 hour.
The hotel offers large grounds with swimming pool and hot tub, a sun terrace with sun beds and bar service, as well as a garden and children's playground. Inside the hotel you will find a comfortable reading room, a reception and hall area with sofas, a snack-bar, buffet-restaurant and a relaxing spa.
The spa is available, for a surcharge, for all guests aged 15 and over. It has an indoor heated swimming pool, hot tub, relaxation area with sun beds, sanarium at 60ºC, sauna at 80ºC, Turkish bath, high-pressure showers and ice fountain.
The bright rooms have air conditioning, satellite TV with international channels, an en suite bathroom with hairdryer and make-up mirror, a balcony and free WiFi.
Several nights a week the hotel offers a selection of nightly shows and live music, a children's miniclub (in high season) and free access to the family activities of Pineda Animació at the beach (June to September).

Review 1：Other noisy guests who let doors bang & knocking on friends/ relatives doors regardless of the time, especially at night.

Review 2：Mercedes was an excellent at reception. Always helpful & arranged our dogs vet appointment with an English speaking vet. Best service ever, she is a credit to the hotel.

Review 3：Standard rooms are outdated, as in 1980, the walls are very thin so you can hear everything from neighbour rooms. The staff is not helpful and efficient in solving problems: so when we announced that ,,something'' chewed my pair of leather shoes on the terrace, the manager told me that I got the ,,privileged room ‘’so he can't pay me the damages done by mice.

Review 4：I liked the ,,privileged room’’ that I received after I was disappointed by the standard room of the hotel . The hotel is located near the beach, the train station and the food is excellent.

Review 5：Despite great cuisine we would recommend the restaurant chef to add less salt to soups, they are too salty. If someone likes them like that he or she can easily add salt him/herself.

Review 6：Firstly, the hotel is well located - close to the train station, seaside and touristic area with shops and cafes. Secondly, the staff including cleaners and restaurant personnel is good. There are a few managers at front desk speaking Russian - Kate and Rafael - they are always happy to give advice and solve your problems. It was a great advantage for our parents who don't speak foreign languages. Thirdly, the food is amazing. Everybody can find something up to his or her taste. Order full board and relax - you won't regret that! Fourthly, Wi-Fi is good. We were lucky because just before our arrival a new system was installed that made Wi-Fi more efficient than it used to be (my wife stayed in this hotel a few years ago). It's cool that Wi-Fi was free of charge. Fifthly, animation services are quite good and people can have a great time in the bar in the evening.

Review 7：The staff - thank you! This is the second time I chose the hotel. Love the city and the beach there. Plenty of food (we had breakfasts and suppers), the food is good (a cold supper they give if you order it in advance when you are going to be late at night - is poor though). But in general I like the hotel. It's nothing special but clean and welcoming!

Review 8：The room was too small to accomodate us comfortably - we were travelling with our toddler who slept in a crib. With all our luggage and the crib there was very little space left for us in the room.

Review 27：Inadequate sound-proofing meant it was quite noisy the time we were there. It was just down to the sound of voices on the corridors carrying into the room. It sounded like there was an argument going on most of the time yet when we actually went outside to see what was going on, it wasn't particularly loud.
