Review 1：As international visitors we were pleased to find the staff were fluent in English. Staff were particularly helpful from arrival recommending best restaurants and locations for us to browse and take in the sites. We were provided with a map of Ourense and easy instructions and directions were highlighted. When we required assistance with transport the staff were more than happy to call a taxi for us. We stayed in a spacious twin share with a quaint balcony. The bathroom was a good size with a double sized mirror. Whilst we didn't have breakfast at the hotel due to our travel plans, I viewed the delicious spread from afar which looked colourful and plentiful with many options to tempt even the fussiest tastebuds. I wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending Carris Cardenal Quevedo to my friends.

Review 2：I was unable to connect to the hotel Wifi and when I sought help from the staff with this problem I was told, "it is your machine". In the end it was indeed the hotel's problem, not "my machine" and was rectified eventually but not before I was subjected to some very insolent and unprofessional behavior. This is not a 4 star hotel. It may be very comfortable but it does not have any of the amenities or facilities to be graded as such. I imagine that in Spain they must "self regulate".

Review 3：The hotel was very centrally located, only 200m to the historic centre. The room was large and comfortable with plenty of hot water and English TV but the furnishings, although quite stylish and modern, were almost all dark wood which made the room very dark and dull. We did not eat breakfast there.

Review 4：Very central location, but very quiet. Very helpful staff who organised a great tour for us by taxi to Rivadavia and a winery. Excellent value for money.

Review 7：1. Lots of emails to be sure, I will appear. 2. The strange situation about the reservation...I have pay more (€75) than my colleagues from the University (€64) and without breakfast. They could be generous and offer the same...it make me said! 3. Very poor amenities...only one gel and one shampoo for two nights and two people...bring shampoo and gel, because you will need it.

Review 14：The location , style and comfort. the staff were lovely, so helpful and the breakfast was first class. the bartender was lovely. On the first night, my companion asked for hot water to make tea and everytime he saw us after that, he offered it.

Review 15：Reception staff weren't very welcoming, didn't look up to say hello until she had finished on the computer. The bar was limited to two beers on pump, no spirits. The breakfast buffet was limited, the toaster was old and faulty (sparked when you pressed the cancel button!)
