Reviews for Familienherberge
Review 1:There is oven in the kitchen, and we can bake there. Also, the staff is nice, we lost our luggage at airport and staff helped to call for checking the status of our luggage.
Review 2:It was the worst tourist accommodation I have ever met in 35 years. Based on the impression that was given on the internet we expected a quiet and pleasant place and we got instead and old DDR public apartment on a fifth floor without elevator, four meters from a noisy road. It was depressing. We couldn't sleep all night. The person how gave as the keys was agreeable like a warder (or a soviet prison guard). The guy who took the key back (there is no real Reception) was rude. He said that the establishment is not a hotel and therefore no service should be expected. I tried to argue that politeness is not a "service". I left the place with a strong feeling that I got ripped off. The price per night was double than what we paid in any other hotel in Germany, including in Berlin.
Review 3:nothig, rien, nada.
Review 4:1 hour by car to Berlin. But we were visiting Tropical Island, and it was only 20 minutes from there. No elevator, but no problem for us. Outside it was a restaurant called Santa Fe, "Best burgers/ spare ribs ever" according to the kids (and parents). Fun with the toy-train that brought orders to the bartender and drinks back again.
Review 5:No elevator.
Review 6:Great simple but big flat with 3 rooms plus kitchen. Excellent for family with 2 children. I prefer it over small luxurious rooms in expensive hotels. Parking in front of the building.
Review 7:no hair-dryer, no clothes dryer
Review 8:newly renovated apartment, three rooms with bathroom and kitchen. Everything was almost brand new.
Review 9:-cockroach on the bed! - 5% more if you pay by card - no wi fi - no elevator
Review 10:-Space - Generally clean
Review 11:Only feather pillows to which I am allergic but the limited openinghours of reception and the fact I did not know the German for pillow (noEnglish spoken) meant that I did not get replacements. The hotel was a25-minute walk to the old town.
Review 12:The accommodation was clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen waswell equipped. The quality-to-price relation for the accommodation wasexcellent. Lubbenau is a fun town to visit with its tasty pickles andrelaxing boat rides.
Review 13:It's located in a old tenement block with grafitti on its side. Not the owner's fault, but not the most appealing place to stay. On the plus side, the apartment itself was clean and well maintained.
Review 14:booked at last minute, and was one of few affordable places still available in the spreewald,
Review 15:We arrived late because of traffic, the guy was pissed off even thoughwe called to warn them we were going to be late. The building was notlabeled well. He handed us two sets of keys with three different keyseach, very confusing. The second night I thought my husband was going tohave to save a woman who was being screamed at by a man in front of herkids until someone start shining a light I them. This is an old militarybarracks which is used as apartments and the empty units are rented outto unsuspected travelers. I certainly would not pay that much to stay insuch accommodations again anywhere. This should not be portrayed as ahotel! It's low income housing.
Review 16:The sheets were clean and laid out on individual beds with aclean towel.
Review 17:There were many many flights of stairs. Luckily we have older children to help with the younger ones.
Review 18:Our suite was extremely clean!!!! The manager was super friendly and very helpful.
Review 19:The prices for extra bed are little confusing. The description in website and the invoice from hotel doesn't match. but it was quite nice experience to talk to staff and come to an agreement.
Review 20:The beautiful neighborhood
Review 21:Friendly staff, clean rooms, kitchen
