Review 14：Wifi was expensive, the staff in restaurant was very rude and unfriendly. The machine of aircondition was not working very well, i had to clean it and take all ice bites away from it.

Review 19：Apartment we stayed in was a one bedroom with sea view. It was very spacious and suitable for 4 adults but we just booked for 2 adults. It and all rooms were newly decorated over winter 2014 I believe so it was clean, modern and really lovely. Staff were helpful and left a Rose and bubbly in room for arrival as my husband had told them it was our anniversary...a lovely little touch. View was amazing. Water in shower was always hot. Room was clean. If you book a room that is not seaview...dont expect it, other reviews said about facing a wall. This is true of some rooms. Don't let it put you off though if you don't expect to be in hotel too much or looking out balcony, as the rooms are all newly refurbished and glorious inside!!! Didn't use pool, bar or restaurant facilities but they looked good.

Review 20：we had a deluxe one bedroomed apartment with a sea view which we couldn't fault at all. the location was good with a supermarket opposite and bars and restaurants in all directions. will definitely be going back next year.

Review 23：Compact studio It was not what we booked through booking.com, I am sure we booked a room rather than a studio Sofa beds were very comfortable but strange layout Not happy that we had to pay for sunbeds, but still cheaper than the beach - might have been better if we had been aware of the need to pay for them when we booked, would have lessened the disappointment A few more kitchen facilities would have been good, eg a microwave or small oven

Review 24：Location Friendly and helpful staff in reception and cleaners -nothing too much trouble for them and the cleaner always returned to clean the room even if we were very late vacating it on some days

Review 25：Very noisy for hours during the night from other guests banging on doors and shouting in the halls. We booked a double room, we got two sofa beds which we had to push together or put the mattresses on the floor. Reception Staff were unfriendly and rude. We had to ask them to return our passports to us after we checked out when they forgot to. We moved to a different hotel after two nights of disturbed sleep on our sofa beds.

Review 79：It is expensive for what it offers. It is only self catering, yet more expensive than many hotels offering half board. It is disappointing nowadays for self catering not to include a microwave. At this price we should expect free wifi in all rooms, but they charge for that, and the free wifi in reception is appallingly slow. The charge for hiring the safe is exhobitant.

Review 80：A sea-view room gives a magnificent view, both by day (the sea, the beach, and across the bay) and by night (the lovely array of lights). Supermarket and take-away just across the road. I really believe the Verdemar is the best sited accommodation in Santa Ponsa. This is why I stayed here a second time, even though it is relatively expensive. The lifts - frequently a source of frustration in other hotels - were reliable and usually available rapidly, even in a busy time like June. All the staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful.

Review 81：Kitchen area to cramped, the cleaning staff do not always lock the balcony doors on to the balcony after they finished cleaning it, we felt our apartment was not secure when we were not in it.

Review 86：Studio room on third floor was a bit cramped for three people and quiet basic but I understand that the rooms on the fifth floor and up are much larger and all have recently been renovated.In fairness to the Hotel these rooms were fully booked,otherwise we would have been allocated one.

Review 87：My wife and I and our teenage daughter stayed here for four nights in October of this .The views of Santa Ponsa Bay from the large balcony are truly spectacular.Hotel is spotlessly clean in particular public toilets.Staff are very friendly.Girls on reception are just fantastic really helpful and friendly. Lovely pool and Sea is right beside restaurant. Went to entertainment just one night and was great, with brilliant Jazz player and lovely girl vocalist.Overall had wonderful time at this hotel and would definitely return again.

Review 88：pool very busy. apartment was expensive but only to be expected in august, and we had a balcony that looked onto a concrete wall evening entertainment started at 10.30pm which was too late for us as we had little ones with us

Review 96：I have been staying in the Verdemar for many years. I think it is time to update them. The same bed covers and curtains are there for years ( at least 20). These apartments are not cheap and facilities should be updated.

Review 109：I have stayed here before, i did enjoy it and my son had a ball. would choose a differnt time of year to go again as we arrived when there was a load of young ones just finished there exams. Staff were very friendly and the room was very clean. Entertainment need a bit of work but on the last nite it pick up when the jacksons came to entertain.

Review 111：We had a problem with the patio door not locking on our arrival. A handyman came to our room with 10 minutes of speaking to reception. Our Daughter was staying with us but we only had 2 sets of towels again from speaking to reception to receiving a third set of towels this took 10 minutes. The staff could not do enough for you. The walk to the beach takes less than 5 minutes and there a 2 small supermarkets within a 5 minutes walk. Plenty of places to eat including a fantastic sushi restaurant call Siki a short taxi ride away or a 12-15 minute walk. A little bit pricey but worth a visit for a special occasion.

Review 115：The location of the apartments is very good, with a lovely outside area including garden, pool and bar area. You can relax right outside your rooms and you can swim in the sea directly from the wall next to the garden area. The beach is a short walk through the town of Santa Ponsa . We arrived to a non flushing loo and bathroom door that didn't close properly, but reception staff contacted the maintenance man on a walkie talkie and he mended both within the hour, which I thought was very good considering the size of the apartments (8 floors). There can be some noise from other apartments but the staff are very strict on anyone who is overly noisy. I plan to return with my family next year.

Review 116：Aircon did not work. Fan on the ceiling looked as though it would flyoff when in operation. Tv did not work. Holes in the bathroom door. Bedlinen inaddequate. Very basic.

Review 117：it was very central but still quiet at night time. very clean and good shops restaurants and bars in close proximity. this is my 3rd of 4th time staying here and I will definatly be back.

Review 118：The only fault i find personally is the hard beds, as i have had major back surgery, i need a softer mattress, maybe if i request this next time Verdemar might be good enough to accommodate me, this is not a criticism, its a personnal thing. One thing we were not in favour of was the daily carge for sun loungers, as they were free 2 years ago?

Review 119：It was our second trip back to A G Verdemar, with our younger sons who are teenagers. The four Activities / Entertainers people kept us all occupied with three sessions of various games in and around the Pool every day, we had great fun and lots of Laughs! They would also take the very young kids off for games etc to suit their age groups, also the adults were able to join in too. There was a good variety of shows every night downstairs in the bar, something for everyone, and you could join in with the singing and dancing. If you fancied an early night, we never heard the noise from the bar, which was great too! The reception staff are very helpful and friendly, also the cleaning ladies are very sweet.My older sons have stayed here before and are seriously thinking of going back again this year! It is in a perfect location with a supermarket and a long line of Restaurants starting from accross the road, and at the back you have the choice of both the pool and sea to swim on the doorstep. Even though everything is in close proximity, you are away from the night time noise of the bars. You are very close to the beach where a variety of water sports are offered, and different boat trips going several times a day from a Pier nearby. Next time we return to Santa Ponsa, this is where we will most definately be staying! Verdemar has definately got that Holiday Atmosphere!
