Review 1：Pretty nice location. Tne best opportunities for cross-country skiing all over the year. Intermediate ski slopes. Pretty clear outside. Our cottage was realy huge with a lot of space and full - equiped, even with sauna, that wasn't announced on booking details. So I recommend this destination for everyone who likes having both: an active and relaxing holidays!
Review 2：- Spa got closed too early. We were asked to leave sauna at 20.30 and we didint have enugh time to have a shower and wash ourselves. Before spa has been open till 22.00.- The information paper of the Katinkulta and Villas was quite poor. We needed to ask very many things from the reception. Information packet should include all the information about housekeeping and other practical information about room, hotel and restaurants. - When we came to hotel the reception seemed to be very busy and they didnt have enouht time for us. We didn´t get very good information how to find our room. The building is big and took long time to find the right room. The room was prepared for 2 people and we had 4. We needed to make some beds ourselves and there were towels etc. only for 2. We needed to ask more towels two times. Also no one told us about spa-packets (we heard about them from other people) - There were no information about activities near of the hotel (only activities in Katinkulta hotel) or shops and other service nearby or buss connections to Vuokatti ski center etc. Everything needed to be asked from reception. Good information would help guests to enjoy more instead of waisting the time to get all the information.
Review 3：-Katinkulta Villas (apartment) was very cosy and practical for family.There was enough place for clothes. Kitcen was good. The appartment wasnew and good quality. -Staff in restaurants was very friendly and nice.-Good location beside Katinkulta spa and skiing and downhill ski placesand many other activities.
Review 4：The breakfast did not alter a bit during our stay (7 days - a long timefor a 4 star-hotel). And there was no fish for breakfast, which wasstrange, taking into account abundance of rivers and lakes in that partof Finland.
Review 5：An excellent place to spend winter holidays. One could do cross-countryskiing, just having opened the door (we had not a room, but a cottage).The water park is not too big, but lovely. The staff was quite friendly.
Review 6：Aqua park is small and not lighted enough. Ski slopes is far away. You should have a car to get there.
Review 7：We stayed in Annex. Very good new modern apartments with all conveniences, sauna, good kitchen equipment .Very good new bowling is not far away. A lot of activities around the place (husky, angry birds park).
