Reviews for Alcudia Petit Hotel
Review 1:-We literally did not experience anything negative! Such a lovely hotel and restaurant! The restaurant was closed on the 24.12. (which was fine, they all deserve a day off!) BUT the restaurant we were sent to (D'Sarc) was very unfriendly and the food took literally an hour to arrive each and the main menu was cold. Maybe the hotel/ restaurant should consider to talk to them or anything. -Maybe the could consider to install more towell rails or a shower shelf since the rooms are bery pretty of course but a little too minimalistic for some people
Review 2:-The stuff was so friendly, you can just talk to them and they will do their best to fulfill all your needs for example bring your food to your room if you are sick or something. -The location is also really amazing and therefor you can reach them quite easy -The food is amazing and the beverages are at a great value as well TRANSPORT FROM AIRPORT PALMA: -walk out of the airport to the bus stop -take line 1 and exit at 'place d' espanya' (7 stops I think, about 15 mins maximum and 1,50 € p. person) -walk across the street and take the escalator downstairs, then just ask for an autobus to Alcudia at the service point ( we did: -down the escalator again and walk to bus stop nr 12 or 13 and take the bus) -you pay directly at the bus driver, we payed 10,60 € for both) -you drive about an hour, just ask the busdriver or other guests where you are -when you are there walk across the street jist straight into the historical centre, after about 30 m the hotel is on the right. If noones there/the door is closed, go to the restaurant just across on the left side and talk to them
Review 3:We booked the executive double room which advertised a city view. It didn't have a city view. The bathroom had a bath and shower but the water was only tepid and didn't improve despite a compliant about this.
Review 4:This hotel in centrally located in the picturesque town of Alcudia Mallorca. The restaurant attached to the hotel offered good quality, interesting food.
Review 5:There was nothing in particular that I didn't like.
Review 6:Plenty of places to eat close by. Regular local bus services along the coast both ways. Local market on Tuesday's and Sundays. Reasonable walk to the sea.
Review 7:We had our room not in the main building. It was a room to the alley and the noice especially after 10pm was heavy (also with closed windows) due the fact that all bring their waste to the gathering place which is located at the beginning of these alley. The W-LAN doesn't work. Only a mini safe in the room.
Review 8:Nice breakfast location and modern rooms. Short distances to all attractions in the city.
Review 9:I booked a room in the Petit hotel as advertised on your site which looked quite large and well laid out. However when we arrived we were given a room in a building across the road and not in the hotel as per our booking. the room was very small and frankly was not big enough for one person. I asked to be moved to a bigger room similar to the one advertised but they said none were available. We stayed in the room for 1 night only as we checked in very late and had to book in to a hotel for the rest of the holiday. We are very disappointed in the hotel as what was advertised was not even close to what we got. I will be seeking a refund for the hotel as it was mis advertised. Regards Michael Rock
Review 10:Spacious and comfortable with a great roof terrace. Excellent breakfast in the walled garden. And the best dinner of our trip. Smiley, friendly, helpful staff.
Review 11:The service and the way the hotel is run is total letdown. I have not felt less cared for in any hotel than in this one. Firstly you won't find any staff at the reception to greet you at the checking, you've got to chase them in a nearby restaurant .after checking interest is lost, all the interest goes to the restaurant and it's clientele, the hotel had no electric appliances working they had lovely terrace which after dawn was unusable as no light was working. Our fridge was completely out of order didn't chill anything it was just for decoration. The pregnant receptionist seemed to be in charge and had terrible attitude ( now what do you want ?)towards the customers leaving one couple obviously upset at their departure. At our checkout we expected breakfast which we never had, no one at the reception no phones in the room or anywhere in the hotel property to contact anyone,no breakfast provided at 7:20 AM the nearby restaurant where you had the breakfast( which by the way was very basic and disappointing) wasn't even open there was no one there to check us out we basically let ourselves out of the hotel left the key at the reception without breakfast that we paid for and that was it. Total letdown
Review 12:It is quite nice little boutique hotel with location in the Alcudia's old town.
Review 13:We arrived at 9:40pm on a Monday (they had been told of this late arrival, but was within the hotels advertised checking in time slot) to find the hotel locked up with a note on the door to ring for assistance. The number did not work! (due to poor coverage we were later told). We then phoned head office who phoned us back with the code to get into the foyer. Our room key and other information (including the outside entry code) was on the desk. On the bed was an array of bathroom items on top of just a sheet. We had to locate duvets and make up the beds ourselves. The shower was generous, but leaked onto the floor as it had no door or threshold. The next day a shower curtain had been fitted, but it made little, if any difference. The hotel description had said rooms with bath or shower. We asked for a room with bath and got a room with a shower. We saw a cleaner briefly, but no other staff at all. Not even at checkout where we left the keys on the desk. No close by parking.
Review 14:A warm and cosy room and the food across the road was excellent. WiFi worked well in the room and foyer. The restaurant opposite seems to be linked to the hotel but closed on Mondays. The breakfasts were good and served by pleasant staff, as was our evening meal. They located an item of clothing that we had left behind and we were able to collect it from the restaurant later in the week. Full marks for the restaurant !!
Review 15:A very nice Hotel with a great restaurant. Very pleasant staff and comfortable rooms. I had the best shower in a hotel in years! Public parking is very nearby.
Review 16:Just feel its a bit overpriced for what it is - have stayed in quire a number of hotels in Mallorca and had better value
Review 17:Good location, very clean, good service, we didn't have dinner but enjoyed the nice terrace for breakfast
Review 18:Our stay was a Monday night and having booked half board we were informed the hotels restaurant was closed and so had to take dinner in another local restaurant. This did not reflect our experience at Alcudia Petit Hotel - choices were limited to two items per course, none of which were suitable for a specialist diet and we were basically told - tough!
Review 19:Loved the room, the simplicity and tranquility of the hotel. Breakfast was a fantastic range of hot and cold items, far superior to most large hotels we have stayed in.
Review 20:breakfast was good but not excellent eggs where not of a good quality and from chicken in laying batteries wifi not working most of the time
Review 21:awesome happy and friendly staff every wish was no problem position is excellent rooms are beautiful
Review 22:Excellent staff - perfect location.
Review 23:Beautifully and tastefully decorated.
Review 24:Nothing
Review 25:Modern and clean with good air conditioning. Inside old town walls. Nice continental breakfast.
Review 26:It took a while to get checked in- that's because there is quite a lot of multi-tasking.
Review 27:Really friendly staff- very relaxed atmosphere.
Review 28:Connection wifi not good. quality-price .
Review 29:Nice rooms and good location close to the center. Very good restaurant both for breakfast and dinner.
Review 30:No lift Difficult to locate, sign on road would have helped
Review 31:Individuality, location, lovely dining area
Review 32:the staff and the food was excellent
Review 33:We had been suprised that the hotel has a link to the bar/restaurant in the opposite site of the hotel. Unfortunately there had been 4 to 6 hotel rooms as well. The room was modern, but the toilet was in a cubboard, smell and noises during the hole night came in from the bar. Breakfast was poor as well. Maybe the rooms in the other building are better.
Review 34:No lifts. Minimum number of shelves, especially in shower that meant using floor for shampoos etc. In "hotel" section of the two section no apparent fire detection.
Review 35:Excellent staff, especially Fatima who would exceptionally hard.
Review 36:This is a beautiful hotel located in the charming old city of Alcudia. If you love old stone, you will love that hotel. The room was amazing. And the staff is very helpful and friendly. Very great.
Review 37:Loved everything.A very high standard was maintained by all the lovely staff who were extremely helpful and friendly. The room was amazing. The bed was so comfortable.
Review 38:Only shortcomings were the instability of the free internet that onlyworked less than half the time. Another small issue was that the roomservice did not refill the shampoo/shower bottles so we were leftwithout on two occasions.
Review 39:This hotel was top-notch. All the staff was exceptionally friendly. Thewhole hotel and restaurant is very stylish and tasteful with many nicetouches. The shared spaces are brilliant with a joint roof-terrace withlovely view and a perfect inner garden where breakfast was taken. Wealso tried the restaurant which proved very good, with innovative dishes(not the sort of uninspired stuff we found in other alcudiarestaurants). The room was quite small but comfortable with a wonderfulbig bed and a large private terrace. In short a great place for a lovelystay in this small town.
Review 40:A little bare, no mirror in bedroom, only one bedside table, needs a few more design touches e.g. water feature on room terrace, more plants etc.
Review 41:Friendly staff, convenient location, great food, very clean.
Review 42:Only weird thing was that the bathroom isn't a completely separate room to the bedroom, instead there is a partition between the two that doesn't go up all the way to the ceiling.
Review 43:Location was perfect just inside the old city walls. Staff were very helpful & friendly. Hotel had a very modern design and was a joy to stay in. The restaurant across the road is managed by the same owners and the food & atmosphere on the terrace was lovely, we also got a free bottle of wine. Breakfast was the best of our stay in Mallorca.
Review 44:The description of an executive double room with private terrace andeasy chairs was incorrect. Staff did not accept this saying there is acommon terrace they accepted that there were no easy chairs. Wi Fi didnot work in the room. This is not really a hotel. It is staffed via aRestaurant opposite the establishment. There are no actual facilitiesyou would expect within a hotel.
Review 45:The room was excellent despite not meeting its full description.
Review 46:No negatives at all.
Review 47:We liked everything and would like to thank the hotel staff for making our trip so beautiful. The hotel is so relaxing and comfortable. We were amazed by its simple and very modern design. We booked a standard room and there was a free-standing bath tube inside. The hotel is in the old city of Alcudia, there are many wonderful restaurants really nearby, the breakfast was amazing as well. Alcudia beach is a little outside, but you can take a frequent bus for 1,5 euro or a taxi for 5. P.S. The hotel's terrace is must-see as well.
Review 48:Lack of shelf space for toilet bags in the bathroom
Review 49:Just inside the walled town of Alcuida virtually no traffic, about 100m to information centre & bus stops. Modern but inside a traditional building facade.
Review 50:Everything Was great: clean and desing hotel with friendly and helpfull stuff, breakfast was very good with quality products. The food in the restaurant was just fantastic with very nice prices! Excellent value for money!!!
