Review 1：The wi fi was very limited and could not get a strong enough signal. The restaurant was only open 2 nights a week and not while we were there.

Review 5：We used maps on iPhone and it sent us no where near the location of Atalaia,however this is not an issue with the hotel just the local council not giving them an area address. I would strongly recommend that you use google maps or a GPS. The hotel usually sends an email explaining this however we did not have a GPS in our vehicle so we could not enter the GPS co-ordinates. The Hotel Atalaia is actually easy to find given the correct navigation system, and very close to the major highway.
Review 6：The accommodation was fabulous, and the staff were great. The rooms were very comfortable and modern. The hotel restaurant was not open, neither were the restaurants at the local shopping centre as it was Sunday night so we had to settle on a Kebab each for dinner.

Review 19：The hotel is immediately adjacent to the motorway, which is fine if you are travelling through, but it's not the best holiday location. Double glazing means that traffic noise is not a problem, and there is a nice screen of trees to hide the motorway.

Review 36：We didn't like the fact there is not even a snack bar to have something to eat in the evening. We had been driving for 6 hours and was very tired. We needed to get an early night, ready for our 10 hour drive the following day, so was forced to eat McDonalds, which we hate, because the local eateries didn't start serving till 8.00pm. The last thing we wanted to do was go searching for food in an area we didn't know. We will not be staying here again.

Review 42：Travelling from the Costa del Sol to UK we normally stay at a chain hotel just over the Spanish/French border. It makes more sense to stay in Spain which is cheaper and in my opinion superior. Two minutes from AP8 and two kilometres from the border. Fabulous, friendly,modern bed/bathrooms. Next to shopping centre and cheap fuel. Look forward to returning.

Review 61：This is a lovely hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Our bedroom and bathroom were great and the whole hotel is spotless. The breakfast was very good value for money. Overall a very good experience.
Review 62：The location was superb for our Bilbao destination travelling from France. In future we would plan to arrive in time for the 12.00 to 16.00 lunch. Last minute shopping, using an ATM and buying fuel was very convenient at the adjacent hypermarket mall.
Review 63：No bidet but really we loved everything. Don't follow sat nav as it takes you nowhere near. Hotel is just off the toll round island to the left, in fact you can see the sign hotel as you leave the toll and that is it.

Review 75：I booked a room with a balcony and mountain view. The room I was given had neither and no reduction in price was suggested. When we arrived a notice on the door advised - in Spanish only - that guests would have to access the hotel through the restaurant. The front door was not available for use until 6pm. The area outside the front door was filthy, old food, rubbish, overflowing ashtrays etc. Unless you wish to stay at the motorway intersection - and pay handsomely - avoid this hotel!
