Review 1：Difficult to find free parking lot around; need to change the parking ticket everyday; small (compact) room; cheap shower room facility.

Review 4：The size of our suite (we also had a Jacuzzi bath), the view from our room was great, the food for Breakfast was varied and of a high quality. Could not fault the cleanliness of the room.

Review 5：Definitely not a 4* hotel. Small rooms, old, broken doors, the one for bathroom didnt match at all even after talking to reception, one smelly shampoo for body & hair? I mean, comparing this with other 4* in other European big cities would be a joke.

Review 11：Noise from the highway even with the window closed at 12'th floor. The bathroom is not separate from the room. The terrace from the pictures is locked and is just for special events (When this is applicable on Booking???) No smoking place. To get to Barcelona you have to walk 1 km, then go by metro 14 stations ~ 45 minutes. To get to airport is even more fun ~ 2 hours No shuttle service for airport. Some tax added when check out (I was told about it in the morning at 6 am when I was in a hurry to catch the plain) No balcony. Only Spanish TV programs. The staff is not friendly at all.

Review 15：Hotel next to a highway, too noisy, it does not matter which floor or hotel area you are (I have changed rooms 3 times); if you have no other option make sure to bring ear plugs with you; cigarette smoke smell in the room (non-smoking floor); too long waiting in restaurant.

Review 18：Good rail links to barcelona and airport. Good breakfast. Great big shower and clean room. Good beach in Badalona. We had 6 nights and did all our sightseeing using the metro very easy and cheaper than staying in Barcelona

Review 24：It's absolutely gorgeous. not too far from either station or the beach. Really quite and super fashion.

Review 25：There some things that slightly spoil "exellent" impression: - the shower tub happened to show up some minor leaks and draines (slightly delayed in time) - probably can be easily fixed, - houskeeping service should pay a little more attantion to vacuum cleaning floor tiles and carpets, - it was pretty annoying that houskeeping service kept throwing away used (only once!!!) soaps, shower caps and combs. If clients NOT THROWING this used tolletiers to rabbish bin don't let your staff to do it! You'll not only seriously cut your costs (thus room prices) and increase competiteveness but also will reduce amount of trash and environmental impact! Change your policy about this!

Review 26：We've booked the hotel room two months in advance via booking.com and the fare were just unbeatable for 4 star hotel. The location in very good - just 10 minutes walk from Badalona Pompeu Fabra metro station and 20 minutes walk from Badalona railway station. Or 5 minutes ride by taxi. The hotel is located next door to an old beautiful Park Con Solei and not far from the beach. It takes no more than 12-15 minutes to get to the sea. All arouan there are lots of cafes, bars and restaurants with great food and reasonable prices. The prsennel is very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and well decorated. All the furniture is of a high quality and King-size+ (literally 2x2 meters!) bed was awesome. Window views from our 12th floor was incredible - from mountain skyline on the west all over the city to sea skyline on the east. The hotel is located next to a busy highway, but if you'll keep your window closed (which is good for your AC, the noise wouldn't bother you.

Review 49：Paid £198 per night for a 3 night stay and was expecting this rate to include breakfast but unfortunately it did not-we queried this with Maruthu on Reception and found his attitude extremely rude-he said we could either take it or leave it. Badalona appeared a run down area with a 10 min walk to metro which is uncomfortable at night. Hotel right next to busy motorway with 10-15 min walk to beach. WE WILL DEFINATELY NOT BE REVISITING THE RAFAELHOTELES BADALONA

Review 56：I initially taught because it is not in the heart of barcelona it wouldbe hard to go around barcelona's main attractions, but I was wrong.The metro system was excellent. It was not far at all. The metro wasvery clean, easy to use and alot cheaper than any other city I havetravelled to. €2.00 per trip, or you could buy the 10 trip ticket foronly €9.80. The hotel was very clean, looked new with helpful staff. Barwas closed due to repairs, but hey, when you have lots of bar andrestuarant on the beach, 10 mins walk. I loved it and I would go thereagain soon.

The toilet is too small, meand the mrs are only 5ft 9 and our heads n knees banged on dooreverytime u shut it u walk into ensuit to enter bedroom... It shud bclosed off and to one side making room size bigger. Two pin chargersrequired for mobile phone .... What a joke?!! I asked a member of staffas I didn't have an adaptor..wasn't helpful.. Told me to buyone!! Don't get me wrong on holiday u take one with u or buy on urfirst day.. But a hotel of this standard surely should incorporate thisin their room design..For 60 plus pounds per night ... I'm sorry I expect a bit more .. not value for money!!

Review 68：Although its out of town it is only about 800 metres from the last station on Metro line 2. This means you always get a seat going into Barcalona. About 10 minutes walk, and plenty of bars on the way to sample the beers! The rooms are very modern with glass screens dividing the bedroom space from the bathroom.

The Badalona area was a nice surprise, hardly any tourists, the beach was cleaner and less crowded than Barceloneta, nice restaurants and the area was very safe.
