Review 1：An unrefurbished room, in total need of ripping out and starting again. Umpteen steps to access it. Outside, crumbling render , rusty parasol base, patio door which wouldn't open, which was mended so it couldn't be closed securely. Some rooms were being done up, so we had to put up with loud drilling noise.

Review 3：We didn't like one of bar-restaurant staff. It's woman with short hair. She was very rude, anything you asked her was big deal. Breakfast room I enter coz was open and I asked for sum eggs and beans witch where still in tray. My little 2 year old daughter wanted. She said we can't have it and asked us to leave. Very rude, made me cry. It's only was for child and food buffet was still there. She didn't needed do anything just take money for it. Very very disappointed .

Review 19：The location of Bahia Blanca is exellent with a beatiful sea view, sunshine all the day and a short walk (500 nice meters along the sea) to the beaches in Puerto Rico or Amadores. The apartment had a nice private garden with beatiful flowers. The pool, the poolabar and the restaurant is also good.

Review 28：Internet reception very poor and although had to paid for 14 days wi-fi(which I though was very expensive and should be free) we had two dayswhere the wi-fi was completely down.My apartment (106) was next to the outside lift and our bedroom was adjacent to the lift which made a awful noise all day and especially at night, the biggest problem was the early hours of the morning when the workmen and cleaners started early and were constantly using the lift. Not the best nights (x14) sleep I've ever had!! The room was also situated directly above the entertainment area and when the evening entertainment was on it was extremely noisy.We had cleaners who came in 3 times a week, the first time they cleaned they took my x2 phone cards and coach tickets!! I reported this to reception and was told they would investigate, they then told me that the cleaner had not removed anything from the room and basically washed their hands of it which was very disappointing. Also on the day of my departure the receptionist presented me with a telephone bill for lots of calls made from my apartment phone on various different days to Madrid in Spain which were not made by me (I live in the UK and know nobody from Madrid), these calls could only have been made by the cleaners! Very disappointed with the security especially the cleaners!!Had another problem with the lights in the room, when turning on they blew the fuse in the main box, reported this on the Friday when I arrived, had to wait until the following Tuesday (after I complained again) for the problem to be fixed.My final problem was with the daytime entertainment which for some might be ok but for me I'd rather being able to relax in the sun by the pool in peace and quite. The hotel employ entertainment reps that are trying to get you to play darts, pool, mini golf and even throw the bloody chicken all day and when they are not doing this they take control of the microphone and think they are stand up comedians.

The apartments are quite small and there are a lot of steps up to them. The lift only takes you so far. Not recommended for anyone with back/knee problems. Apartently the refurbishment will be complete by next year and all apartments will gave air con, Queen size beds and redecorated

Review 46：Location ideal set between Puerto Rico and Amordores, apartment upgraded to a high standard very modern with dishwasher,washer,microwave TV with sky channels. Cleaning staff worked very hard to keep the place very clean and children's entertainment brilliant always something going on.

Review 47：Loose tiles in pool. No barmen when needed. Having to "join them" reserving sunbeds with towels. Very annoyed by guests who put towells on sunbeds then either don't use them for hours or worse leave the resort and come back later to claim them. More support from staff is required to enforce the no sunbed reservations! Restaurant on-site is 'OK' but has the potential to be so much better given that much better restaurants are a stones throw away both in terms of service and food quality and selection. Level of cleanliness in the apartment was not up to the same high standards we have experienced previously.

Review 48：Relaxing by the pool and having the occasional break to the bar. Great base to visit Amadores Beach or Peurto Rico where there are some great restaurants. Trip to Aqualand was great. Glass bottom ferry to Puerto Mogan - great.

Review 51：only thing that was annoying was the sunbed loungers were hard to get as people reserved them even knowing that they weren't to be reserved . Wasn't staffs fault. It would be a lot easier if sunbeds were reserved for apartments so you didn't have to wait almost an hour for one.

Review 53：I didn't like waking up Wednesday morning to a half eaten lizard on my bathroom floor, the doors has all been closed and locked so The only possible way it got in was through a vent above the toilet. Horrible experience finding that. Scared us every other morning having to check and make sure it didn't happen again. The half eaten BIG lizzard was also alive when we Tryed to get rid of it. Couldn't use the hobs on the cooker as they were touch screen?? And nothing at all to explain how to use the appliances. Every morning at 8am people would come down with all their towels and every lounge chair is taken. 2 days out of the 7 I stayed I got a lounge chair. Extremely disappointed people would go off for the day and leave their towel, and nothing was done about it, people left sitting on hairs around the edges of the area for the day.

Review 59：I was travelling with my son and 75 year old mother. She has had a stroke and a mild heart condition. There were over 40 steps up from the lift exit on our floor to our apartment. There is nothing to explain this on the website. Thankfully we only needed to stay one night.

Review 65：We loved everything about the Bahia Blanca , the apts were a bit dated but spotless clean , the twin beds were a bit uncomfortable but did the job , wish they would provide double beds in holiday apts . The poolside bar was absolutely lovely , lovely food staff very frendly and happy hour every day from 5-6 was a winner with everyone ! Was close to both Amadoras and Puerto Rico centre , will definitely be going back to Bahia Blanca !

Review 69：The stay was as good as our last stay. Views over the sea were fantastic. Breakfast has changed since our last visit, you now help yourself to what you want.

Review 70：The reception staff were cold, provided no information on what was available to do around the hotel or on the island. Important to first time visitors. The Internet connection does not work - do not plan to do any work or study there. I was very disappointed to see waste water discharging down the cliff on which this hotel is built. We arrived having booked a room for 4 and only 2 of the beds were made. When I asked how the sofa bed (old, rusty model) opened up, the German receptionist was rude (in Spanish, thinking I did not understand). Planning is awful: the morning we were leaving, 2 men with plants walked up the stairs to our flat, almost surprising us getting dressed. They then proceeded to plant the flowers while we were trying to clear up and have breakfast!

Review 71：The hotel was clean as was the pool. The bar staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Review 72：The German receptionist lady was incredibly confrontational. I booked this trip for my husband and daughter to spend a week away together. I booked with the B&B rate so breakfast being included. Each day, for the first 4 days, my husband was aggressively told that breakfast was not included in his rate despite him being able to show on his reservation confirmation that it clearly had been booked. The receptionist stated it wasn't in her computer system and therefore his reservation wasn't applicable (????). Eventually the manager (very nice man) apologised for the confusion and it was resolved (but this shouldn't have taken 4 separate occasions and should have been handled with professionalism, not aggression by the staff). The pool area could be great - but with 25% of the pool tiles either missing or loose, it really is sub-standard. There are a lot of stairs (as a lot of people refer to) and the lift is too slow and shakes. The WiFi connection is awful. If WiFi is that bad, the hotel shouldn't charge for it.

Review 73：The location of the hotel is great - lying between Puerto Rico and Amadores beach. The apartments are nice and spacious and the views are fantastic.

Review 74：Room wasn't cleaned to a good standard when we arrived, was a bit of noise due to room being next to lift. Bed was two mattress together and one was in poor condition. There was other issues but to be fair staff fixed these items quickly.

Review 86：The location is one of the best in Puerto Rico, between the main resort and Amadores Beach and not too high up the hill as many complexes are. The views to the sea are superb and you can even watch the sunset in the evenings. We stayed in a refurbished apartment which was first class!

Review 91：Location is good half way between Puerto Rico and Amadores although it is quite a walk either way to Restaurants ect. We had apt 513 which is probably the one with the least sun, we did ask for a different apt without success. Staff very helpful and friendly. Bahia Blanca are time share apartments and are being refurbished.

Review 92：it could have been cleaner,specially in the bathroom:( Only got clean towels once. This appartment needs to be renovated. The glass doors in the livingroom were unable to open. in the morning there were a terrible smell in the bathroom.

Review 103：The location is excellent with all apartments having a sea view. It is position between Amadores Beach and Puerto Rico and each is within walking distance. There is a restaurant which has a varied menu and nightly special both of which are reasonable priced. There is also daytime and evening entertainment, the evenings having varied artistes appearing. All staff are excellent and nothing is too much trouble for them and they are knowledgeable and helpful.

Review 104：There was 122 steps to our apartment which was very tough in the heat. Wi-fi isn't brilliant for the price you pay..a little expensive

Review 106：The WI-FI didn`t work out in the room. I had to sit by the pool with smartphone and pc to work. The gym was poor. Do not advertise that you have a gym if it is this poor.

Review 107：I booked and prepaid for 4 apartments in January 2014, which would be used for 14 days in late October / November 2014, ie 10 months later. In our traveling companions there were 4 young children from the youngest one half years to the oldest of three years, specified in the order. In addition, we sent an email to BB where we requested that the apartments were next to each other, and that was why we were early on order. When we arrived the 18 of oct. the surprise was therefore great when the apartments were far apart. When we a bit frustrated asked why, the response was that they could not arrange it on such short notice ?? 10 months !! After a discussion, we got three apartments close to each other, but all four apartments were far away as possible from the pool / reception / output. The elevator took us to the level 2 and from there we had to take us to plan 5 where our apartments were. With four young children in strollers, there was a trial of strength to go in several long stairways. 2 of the apartments were in poor condition, with broken refrigerator, loosely toilet, errors with oven and ceiling fans did not work. The patio in the same two apartments were very limited and not very child friendly because of large trees and shrubs, which also hindered visibility. The service level of the staff in the pool bar, restaurant and reception was not very customer friendly. Bought 3 weeks WIFI connection for 5 concurrent users, but it worked poorly. When I contacted the front desk, they apologized only. I took direct contact with the supplier, and the revealed errors at level 5, as the parent, but the net was always very unstable and it was only sometimes it was possible to email or read the newspaper online. No, it will be never Bahia Blanca for me and my family. There are better places in Puerto Rico. If there is worse? .. I really do not know.

The size, shape and layout of the outside space of the "garden apartment". big tree blocking view and sun and lots of dead leaves falling on the sun beds and patio floor. if you're a shade person it works if a sun person no. asked to move from this to a "balcony apartment" and request granted.

Review 113：old room (not refurbished) full of little insects (some kind of very little ants), except for the very friendly young lady not served at the bar (one lazy man told us to wait but didn't come back in the first 15 minutes, another one only had ear for the pushy people during happy hour)

Shop on the property of Bahia Blanca. Staff were lovely. Taxi cost around €3 to town. Small distance walk to Amadores beach. Would definitely return again.

Review 135：Stayed in superior room and had all the kitchen utilities of home, staff very friendly and helpful ,500m to either Amadores or Puerto Rico beaches, Dave and James great entertainers for the kids during the day-happy hour 5-6 pm and you can get 2large beers for 2.60! Supermarket on site with all the essentials

Review 136：Can be a bit hilly also sleeping is hard has the extractor fans not that great also pull out bed not comfortable
