Apartment Pins Platja sells fast on our site. In Cambrils, this complex has a large free-form swimming pool and provides convenient beach access. Some studios and apartments are located next to the beach, and others have a balcony.
All of the Pins Platja apartments have a lounge area, a full bathroom and 1 to 3 bedrooms. All have kitchenettes with a microwave and kitchenware. Bed linens and towels are included.
Pins Platja has a bar and a restaurant. There is also an on-site grocery store, and a variety of shops, as well as a pizzeria.

Review 1：There is no proper room service, is just more like a apart flat. It has a kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, cooktop. There wasn't any hospitality amenities such soap, shampoo and alike, so I had to purchase that in a market. The policy to checkout until 10 a.m. is a bit frustrating. If staying more than 2 days, be prepared to remove your own garbage to across the street

Review 2：Just right in front of beach, and near some pub's were you can't enjoy good meal and beverages. The pool has a good size and the parking space seems well dimensioned, too, although have to be paid extra.

Local supermarket and a number of other hotels in the area closed in mid-october which limited our options. Intending travellers should be aware that facilities are liable to close down at this time of year. No poolside facilites as restaurant was closed

Review 20：To be honest the proximity of our apartment to the train track did mean we experienced the early morning wake up call as they went by. The horn didn't sound until 8.10am but I did hear earlier trains as they were quite heavy.

Review 21：It was great as a base to explore the area. Plenty for my teenage daughter and her friend to do as they relaxed before heading back to University. There also seemed to be plenty to keep families with small children happy and also those traveling without children.

Review 24：Lack of seating - there was a sofa-bed which sat three people but the apartment was for up to six so there was a shortage of seats. However, it wasn't really an issue as we were out of the apartment more than in.

Review 28：I was charged an unexplained €120 deposit on arrival after securing withmy credit card, I was put in a small apartment that was flooded atfirst, moved next door after being told there was no more apartmentsavailable. The night porter made me clean the apartment of all rubbishand strip the beds before I departed and refused to hand over my deposituntil I did. I was made slave and clean the apartment before departing.

Review 30：There is no entertainment laid on at all. The kids disco is 10 mins every night beside the pool. The kids club is non existent. The lifeguard is so strict that you can barely swim without being told off. The apartments are spacious but are of poor repair. We had a leak in our bathroom ceiling and was given extra towels to mop it up. The hot water is hit and miss. The WiFi is terrible if your not by the pool.

Review 31：If your travelling with young children and your looking for a quiet holiday the location is good. The beach is on your doorstep and Salou is just a short bus journey away. There are some good restaurants on your doorstep too. The local supermarket is very good too. The pool has a good gradient for young children.

Location isterrible - very noisy, railroad is right next to the hotel with trainsrunning every 10 mins at a very high speed & with huge noise.Place, where breakfast is served was across the busy street from thebuilding, where we were accommodated, so was reception, & kidsclub, & the swimming pool. So, I had to take my 1.5 old son eachtime we needed smth, there. Too risky, & absolutely inconvenient..It's actually not a hotel, it's a self-service place, wherecleaning & change of sheets happens only once a week.. Beds areawful, & so are the bathrooms. All very old & squeaky, mattressseemed to be made of rubber (( The location is very noisy, with sportbars next door & people screaming & shouting in the evenings.Kids club is a mess with old dirty toys. Animators don't reallyknow what they are supposed to be doing. The swimming pools were allsuper cold, since the weather was not perfect for several days, &water got cold w/o any heating option or an indoor alternative.Sunbeds are obviously from the past century. Food was a very poorvariety, & so was the quality. It was not possible to put anyfood/drinks ordered from the bar on the room, we had to payimmediately. It cost me 180 euro to get to this hostel from Barcelonaairport!!! I still can't believe I made such a mistake.. There isno direct access to reception by car. You have to call them &negotiate that they open the gate with the manager. The sea is prettyclose but general atmosphere of this district is not friendly, &tourists visiting seem to be way too far below middle class.. In all,an awful experience, which I had to end 2 days after we came there. Itsignificantly spoilt my picture of Spain. Never ever.

Review 38：I found the hotel to be very noisy. The main road runs between the two compounds of the hotel. The main gate and our block front door were heavy and slams shut which vibated through our room waking me up. People coming back at night made so much noise slaming doors, shouting up the stairs and dragging furniture around in the middle of the night. There is also a main train line at the back of the hotel, but this seems to run mostly during the day. The hotel needs to do something to resolve the noise. Fix the gates and the doors and put some carpets to muffle the noise from adjacent apartments.

Review 39：The hotel does have a good location with respect to the excellent beach as well as being mid way between Salou and Cambrils so you can choose to have a night out in both. It is also 10 minutes to Portaventura by car or there are buses outside the hotel which run regularly.

Review 47：Amazing Location, Amazing pool, Amazing Staff, The view from blocks 5 & 6 could be one of the best views in the entire world, Palm trees, Golden sand and the azure blue Mediterranean. Great food in pool bar, not just toasties but great tapas and paella. Walk out your door and either spend the day on the golden sands of the Mediterranean or relax by the lagoon style pool. Perfect in every way.

Review 52：Staff could have looked happier and been more helpful. We were allowed to leave our cases in their reception storage, after checking out, so that we could still use the facilities until our departure. However, they were lax, as one of our suicases was taken by mistake by another guest and ended up in Reus Airport ! The guest phoned to say what had happened, but we were not informed, and didn't know any of this until we went to leave, at which point, we had to insist on the reception taking immediate action. They organised a taxi to take my husband to Reus to collect the suitcase (luckily, an honest guest, so nothing missing) but staff at the complex were really not very concerned for our case, by all accounts.

Review 59：The bar and reception staff were friendly - although during busy periods I think they could use an extra person on reception. The weekend lifeguards were smashing - the lifeguard who worked Monday - Friday just sat looking at his mobile in his bag the majority of the day ! The bar is reasonable priced and the bar food is good.They operate a happy hour around lunchtime which is also good value. The pool is a great temperature and is clean and on a Saturday they put inflatables out (a little like total wipeout) which is great for the kids an great to watch the adults who are daring enough to make a fool of themselves - great !! Great location for the beach and although next to the road it does not affect your sleeping.

Review 66：We arrived at lunch time Monday, and was advised our apartment was ready. We were pleasantly surprised at our 3 bedroom family apartment. It had one room with a double bed, two rooms with two single beds in each, two bathrooms(one with shower and one with bath/shower) which delighted us as there was 7 of us in total in the one apartment. A Kitchen / living room and a big balcony overlooking the street. Very clean with beds made up and spare fresh sheets and towels left in each room. The pool is excellent with shallow end for kids and deep end, a separate kiddies pool with slide too. Plenty of sun loungers. The restaurant is beside the pool and served lovely food, something’s a little more expensive than other places nearby. Right outside the gates is a Supermarket with a bakery attached – delicious. We ate at Molly Malone’s and O’ Driscoll’s Rugby Tavern and the Chinese restaurant (€10.50 all you can eat buffet) all which had excellent and very reasonably priced food with excellent service. We could walk into either town, 20 mins walk to Salou and 20 mins walk to Cambrills. Or take the local bus – Bus Plana who have a ticket office 2 mins walk from the apartments and ask for a T-10 ticket for €15.50 which will get you 10 trips and can be topped up at the office for €12.50. We found it great value. Overall we couldn’t have been happier that we booked the Pins Plajta Apartments, and would love to return again.

Review 67：Kitchen area was small for six people. Our apratmennt faced onto main road. There are a number of pubs close to the apartments 2 across the road and 2 just to the left . Can get a little noisy for the apartments facing onto the main road on occasions.

Review 83：€5.50 for a token for the washing machine and the clothes came out barely washed. A Cot cost us an extra 58€ which I thought was ridiculous and then we had to pay 45 extra for a late check out! The cost added up! The apartments should be cleaned every few days at least. You can't lock the apartment from the inside with a 2 and a 4 year old this is not ideal we had to barricade the door.

Review 84：Fab location, lovely pools great for the kids. It was very quiet and peaceful. Supermarket was underneath us and bars were across the road. The Beach, promenade and the cycle path is extremely close. 2 little play areas are v close on the beach for the kids.

The reception was normally closed each time we went down . We stayed from the 24th of march to the 31st ,I wouldnt recommend anyone staying at around this time because most of the days of our stay there everything around the place was shut. The nearest shop was a few miles down the road. The walls are very thin.

Review 95：We stayed in block 3 on the second floor and had a lovely view. Our aparent was near a few bus tops which was really great. The kitchen was small and comfy,the bedrooms nice clean and tidy. Would deffinetly recommend this place for anyone travelling with kids.

Review 96：Ideal location for young children, near to the beach and to local restaurants. Kids loved the slides in the pool and the small playground on the beach opposite. As it was low season, resort was closing down and supermarket was closed but we had a hire car and headed out and about.

Review 101：Not much in the way of entertainment, only one night out of nine was there something on, therefore we didn't use the bar or restaurant much. As the pool area is very sheltered, we used the beach a lot but found it very expensive at 14 euro per day. Can the Pins Plaja not supply beds and shelter on the beach or at least users get a reduced rate.

Review 102：Perfect location in between Salou and Cambrills. We had the 2 bedroom apartment and there was plenty of room for 2 mature couples. Kitchen facilities were more than adequate and towels changed regularly. I used the bicycle hire and found it easy and handy. Perfect location for using beach.

Review 112：We have just come back from pins platja and have to say it was the best holiday we have had , the staff was so helpful and the apartments were extremely spacious,we had 7 people in our 3 bedroom appartment and didn't feel crampt , the pools where perfect the larger one for our older children and the small pool was perfect for our 4 and 6 year old , the location is also very good you can walk for miles on the sea front , there is nothing bad I can say, the service was excellent, we are definatley going back next year , can't wait .

Review 120：Pool is opened very late in the mornng (11AM) and paying for beds is annoying in your own complex . The maintenance guy has a serious issue with kids playing ball in the pool and is very aggressive but no other staff member or the lifeguard object once the children are behaving and are being respectful of others . Access from the buildings to the carpark needs to be better controlled as entry and exit from the vehicle entrance for pedestrians is unsafe .

Staff are very very helpful and up to date on local issues . Parking is available on site at a charge . The food and facilities at breakfast are very good . Cleanliness level of pool and facility is excellent . Pricing on site of drinks and ice pops etc is local and very acceptale . Overal a great stay was had in a great location .

Review 122：The apartment was basic and dated. Wasn't really in a great location you need to get taxis or buses to anywhere with a bit of life. But the worst thing about this apartment is its right beside the railway track and i mean right beside it!!

Review 126：Railway line runs directly behind where the two bedroomed apartments are, one bonus is they don't run all night usually stop around 11.30pm. The only apartments on the beach side of the road are the one bedroomed ones which are directly above the bars.
