Reviews for Petit Hotel Hostatgeria La Victoria
Review 1:Our room was pretty 'compact' but OK for 4 nights. There's not a great deal of comfy sitting space so it's not a place to hang around at during the day.
Review 2:we had a very enjoyable stay and would come again for a short break. It's a bit like an up-market hostel which suited us because we had access to the kitchen to prepare breakfasts and evening meals
Review 3:I was travelling alone so it was OK but I would not recommend this for families as the rooms are very small and there are no facilities for kids. I would also recommend hiring a car if you are staying here. I didn't and got a taxi to Alcudia everyday at a cost of 20€ per return trip.
Review 4:A great place to stay if you are looking for an authentic experience. A very rustic place with beautiful views.
Review 5:The pictures on the Internet do not reflect at all the reality. The hotel is worth experiencing as a guesthouse, but not at that price. Many rooms on the ground floor have the smallest window I have ever seen in an hotel; the rooms on the first floor might look better. We were assigned a ground floor room, despite many rooms on the first floor were available. Despite the location, the views are not astonishing. As we arrived after check-in time, we were provided keys by a person that did not even talk Spanish.
Review 6:The restaurant nearby (it's the only place where you can eat without taking the car) was a bit expensive but delicious and with a wonderful view.
Review 7:Nothing
Review 8:We stayed here specifically to do a spectacular walk out to the headland. There is a very good restaurant nearby (50 meters) and some hotel rooms and the restaurant enjoy great views across the bay especially at sunset.
Review 9:Our room was above the kitchen so we could hear all the noise in the mornings. Our beds were very uncomfortable .
Review 10:We liked the staff, the freedom, the breakfast , the location and atmosphere of the place.
Review 11:Ask for the rooms on the upper floor which are further away from the kitchen where guests can conveniently cook
Review 12:Hotel and its location (isolated) are exceptionnal. No building around, with Formentor as the only (wild) view. For nature lovers.
Review 13:Restaurant prices a bit high. Arrived just before 6pm which is the cut off point not sure what would have happened after this since we were on bikes and all staff disappeared. The youth hostel down the road caused some confusion over location.
Review 14:Serene amongst natural dramatic surroundings lovely architecture and simple but luxurious at the same time. Breakfast above average and view from the nearby restaurant fantastic.
Review 15:Expensive breakfast, bad tasting juice.
Review 16:Very nice location and beautiful building.
Review 17:Great location, quiet. Nothing around. Just the bay.
Review 18:the bed is of the rather wooden sort
Review 19:atmosphere of the location removed from the hustle and bustle possibility of using kitchen!
Review 20:I made the booking at the last minute whilst in Mallorca. From the booking.com website it appeared I'd paid in full. It was actually just 15% and the remainder was due on arrival. This caused some confusion. I think the website could have been a lot clearer on this.
Review 21:The location. The restaurant next door was excellent. The value for money on Mallorca was particularly good. It was quiet and secluded.
Review 22:Breakfast costed additionally 8 EUR, should be included in the basic price. Small rooms and no air-condition - so it was really very hot in the room
Review 23:Marvellous scenery and location of this hotel. Very helpful staff and great breakfast (big choice). Clean. Worth its price.
Review 24:the reception is closed very early which may drive some difficulties for the travellers with late arrival
Review 25:the hotel has very authentical atmosphere, located in charming and silent place, surrounded by beautiful nature
Review 26:There were many mosquitoes. The hotel should have nets in the windows.
Review 27:The view and the building was fantastic. The fact that there was no TV, internet etc was very nice, it helps you get into the context of an old monastery.
Review 28:Shower was tiny and the water flooded the floor all the time. The smallsingle beds were uncomfortable and the worst thing was the ventilationand musty smell in the room, no window in the bathroom and the only airwas as tiny window in the bedroom and as the room was on the groundfloor, it was dark!I Felt as if I was in a prison cell.We asked to for aroom on the upper floor when I booked 2 months ago, and again when Ichecked in and the staff was unhelpful, said wasnt possible and that if Iwanted to go to another hotel that I could.I Have been living in Spain22 years and this has been the only time I experienced thisunprofessional treatment in Spain. Also there were no screens on thewindow and the mosquitos bit us all night as we had to leave the windowopen for air and we couldnt sleep very well.
