Review 1：Given the cost of a stay at the hotel the level of 'hospitality' service from the staff was well below standard.

Review 3：The hotel was perfectly located, beautifully designed...modern but homely and I would highly recommend it to anyone. It doesn't have a gym or pool however as we were there to do the Santa trips it wasn't necessary.

Review 4：Hotel was beautiful, the staff were very obliging from beginning to end. The only thing negative I would say is that the service at dinner was very slow. We had to wait a very long time from ordering our dinner to it been served, otherwise everything was perfect.

Review 5：Very very slow service in restaurant and bar food for duration of stay. Our bedroom which was sold as one of the best rooms in the hotel was not connected to the hotel! We had to leave the hotel, walk 5 meters outside in -20 degrees to access the room off the street. It took 3 complaints and a request for our money back to get management to change our room into the hotel and we had no choice but to accept a smaller room.

It was perfectly situated for all of our activities and was a lovely, cosy, comfortable place to come back to - especially the sauna after a long day dog sledging. Facilities were excellent and only supersceeded by the fantastic staff. Everyone is extremely helpful and cheery.

Review 9：Their restuarant is closed on sunday which is weird in a hotel. The sauna experience was the worst of my whole life. When in Finnland one would except acceptional sauna experience. First of all you have to book a time slot if you want to use it and it only operates from 16:00-22:00 unless otherwise requested. When we went, the sauna was not heated up properly, there was a huge gap at the bottom of the door (on purpose they said beacuse of the air) therefore the cold air was coming in to the sauna which was not hot enough to begin with. We left after struggling for like 10 minutes

Review 43：The Arctic Light is a nice, little hotel, located nearby the very heart of Rovaniemi: everything is within reach, since you're just a few steps away from the main pedestrian area. Once home to the Town Hall, this building has been completely renovated to welcome its guests in a stylish atmosphere, with some enjoyable design details. My room was comfortable, well appointed, fitted with anything you could need and, in the end, modernly cozy. Their Staff was very friendly and helped to make my stay as smooth as silk, from the check-in to the check-out.

Review 45：This is an excellent hotel. I wish they had one of these in other towns I travel to. Good central location, free parking, good quality staff, excellent breakfast, imaginitive restaurant, the design of the rooms is excellent. Having access to a good gym is important to me. The gym here is small and often hotels with small gyms are difficult to get a good workout in due to cheap or non-functioning equipment. The equipment at the Arctic Light is good quality and looked brand new. It comprises a multi-gym, free weights, treadmill and cross trainer. I was able to get a couple of good workouts in there. It's hard to find fault with this hotel. I enjoyed my stay here and would recommend it.

Review 46：Breakfast designed by Sara La Fountain was pretty bad. As a top chef, I would rather aim for good taste than extraordinary dishes (but what do I know). First time I've eating chocolate cake which has absolutely no taste. Amazing.

Review 54：This is my second stay and I just love this hotel. Rooms have been very uniquely furnished and they are big. Bed's are very comfortable and there are more than enough pillow to choose from. Breakfast was also very positive surprise with it's vast selection of different snacks to choose from. Will stay here next time I am in town.

My hudband and I stay in Arctic light hotel for one night during our honeymoon trip to Finland. We quite enjoy the modern style room and we got our own Sunna in our room! The breakfast is tasty and Scandinavia style. We highly recommend this hotel if you are going to rovaniemi!
