Reviews for Hotel Zahorí

Review 1:It was cold in dining room and in bedroom until heating had been on for a while. Cold tiled floors in winter are not nice. Some rugs would have made the bedroom cozy

Review 2:Situation "Antique style" Staff

Review 3:Nothing!

Review 4:Very friendly and helpful staff and we loved the character of the hotel. Situated in a beautiful little square with a fountain. Would go back tomorrow!

Review 5:Uncomfortable shower & very small room, but that is often the case with rooms in ancient buildings, & part of the price of " atmosphere".

Review 6:Very accommodating staff. They only speak Spanish, but they were very helpful with directions & let us keep an ice pack in their freezer.

Review 7:Small tv.

Review 8:The location was perfect, a lovely square with a church and a fountain and you can drink the water. Our room was very nice overlooking the square. The tv was very small but after walking around the picturesc old townevery day not much tv was seen. Plenty to see and do, try the tour bus, great. Viva Priego de Cordoba. Oh, the hotel make some very tasty meals.

Review 15:Leaving to come home, we could have moved in!

Review 16:Fabulous, in really old quarter, family run, nothing too much trouble, lovely room with beams, we ate there each evening, we had booked three nights and stayed additional night. They were always able to access someone in the family who spoke English if necessary. Absolutely a delight, just book. Lovely walking country.

Review 17:Very helpful staff, seamed we have known them for years. Good food in the hotel's restaurant. Two nights of our stay we had dinner in the hotel. We had an opportunity to try tipical local dishes like scrambled eggs with collejas and of cource rabo de torro. The restaurant is in a beautiful, typical andalusian patio. The hotel is housed in the old very carefully restored building. Rooms have lots of character and the view of the square with the fountain. It was a pleasure to stay at Zahori. We will be back.

Review 18:This charming little hotel is located in an intimate little plaza next to a church, with a beautiful fountain, leading to a maze of very narrow cobbled lanes with white-washed houses covered in geraniums in blue pots. My husband and I spent one night here, on our way to Granada from Cordoba, and it was well worth the visit. The location was the perfect kick-off point for meandering strolls down charming streets, with a good number of Baroque churches. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, in spite of the language barrier. We had several wonderful meals at their cafe tables in the plaza, and both the owner and our waiter made us feel like family. The room had authentic rustic charm, with a comfortable bed and views of the church across the way. I would highly recommend a short stay at this hotel in this picturesque town.
