Reviews for Hotel Riavela
Review 1:When returning to my room every day after it had been cleaned, there was an overpowering smell of air freshener.
Review 2:Friendly family run hotel. Quiet location 15minuit walk from the centre, advisable to have a car.
Review 3:Great location - opposite train station, near restaurants, pleasant stroll to leaning tower. Friendly, helpful staff. Very basic but quirky and fun. Loved it.
Review 4:Nothing inside, but the ramp down to the parking might be a bit steep for the less confident driver drinks at bar a wee bit expensive.
Review 5:Made very welcome. Lovely big room with huge balcony. tastefully decorated.
Review 6:We just needed a base for a stop over on our way to Portugal, it was perfect for this, not really for a holiday though. The staff were more than helpful, the hotel was very clean
Review 7:While I down rated the location this was not a problem for us as we were using it as "a way station" for our next destination. Room was large and comfortable. We also went to the Restaurant Botique and found that it did not give us value for money. Reception at the hotel was good but the parking was steep and as in most of spain and Portugal the parking space was very narrow and small at the reception side of the hotel.
Review 8:This was my second visit. The hotel is small but unique
Review 9:parking a little tricky getting in and out as was on a slope.

Review 27:Nothing inside, but the ramp down to the parking might be a bit steep for the less confident driver
Review 28:This is a simple two star and yet the staff made you feel really welcome. The breakfast was good, and they recommended an excellent restaurant - The Restaurant Boutique - that was only a few hundred yards away. The they gave us an enormous room with a great balcony! Also Ayamonte itself is an undiscovered jewel alongside the Guadiana River.
Review 29:The bed was small, the room was not very comfortable and cold.
Review 30:We only stayed for one night and it was a good value deal for the money of the room. If you are travelling on a budget is a good option. The staff was very nice and out stay was uneventful and short.
Review 31:The description said something about being in the old part of Ayomontewhich I took to mean in the town itself but it's on the outskirtsand up a hill so not really walking distance to the town.
Review 32:Very clean, friendly and excellent value for money. I used this as astop over on the way to Portugal and it was a really good value placewith free parking and internet..
Review 33:Could not walk into town, too far and on hill, perhaps ok for younger fit people to walk it.
Review 34:Gentleman on reception fantastic, spoke good English and was very helpful. Power cut in town, even got candle at hotel and later cooked us a pizza because we hadn't eaten.
Review 35:Even after thinking very deeply I can't really come up with things I didn't like.
Review 36:I just spent 2 nights in Hotel Riavela and I was very happy to be there, it is a very green and quiet environment surrounded by nature, very friendly staff, nice athmosphere, extremely clean rooms. Next time I am in the region this hotel will definitely be my first option to go back!
