Review 1：Was a little disappointed with restaurant. Reserved table for 8.30, arrived at 8.25 and told to wait by the bar. Ended up asking about my table at 9pm only to be told I could have just sat down. Not given any water at the table unlike everyone else in the restaurant. Food however was excellent.

Review 2：Lovely view of the lake at the back of the hotel. Shopping malls nearby. Only 20 minutes from Airport. Will definitely book again on next trip to Helsinki

Review 3：We were a group of friends having a girls night out and this hotel suited our needs perfectly. Gym, pool and sauna were all great. Staff was absolutely amazing and friendly. Location of the hotel was great, very easy to get to the Helsinki nightlife. Also plenty of restaurants nearby.

Review 4：As a regular visitor, restaurant is very overpriced, a menu that has a cheaper option that changes everyday (todays special)would be nice for people who stays there regularly. Otherwise good, personal in restaurants very nice.

Review 12：The location of the hotel is fine, with good bus connections to other parts of Espoo and Helsinki. Woods for walking are also nearby. Some room face the artifical lake in back of the hotel, and the view is excellent - very relaxing. There's still a lot of constructionb going on in front of the hotel, so the vie there is not interesting at all. The rooms are good, with plenty of space for luggage and work. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly.

Review 45：The restaurant closed one hour earlier than it advertised. We asked the reception staff if there was another place nearby, where we could get food. They didn't know and didn't want to help us. They just said we should order pizza, but didn't even specify where we could get it. We were traveling with a dog, and it said in the website, we would get a bag with some chews and other pet stuff. We never got it. The breakfast wasn't any good.

Review 47：Excellent, accomodating and very friendly customer service, made huge difference to our stay in the hotel. Room was delightful, very clean and had very nice smell to it. Breakfast was versatile feast, literally made my day. We very much enjoyed our stay and definetely plan to stay in Sokos Hotel also in the future!

Currently a metro is drilled below thehotel which provides you an earthquake experience till about midnight.At 7am the construction of iceskating facility is started which isvery loud and makes it impossible to sleep. Review 52：1. There is a construction site in front of the hotel. 2. Parking lot fee is 30 euros a day, not just 19 euros as it was promised in the hotel info. 3. We booked, as it was called, 'standard room for 3 persons'. Actually it turned out 'standard double bed room' with two separate beds and two sets of towels. When asked about standard triple bed room for accommodating 3 persons, ingenious finns introduced extra bed to our standard double bed room. We had to swallow this. 4. The diner is called 'Seville' for a cling to spanish cuisine. Ordered starters and a meat skewer. Waited for 1,5 hours just to get starters, then cancelled them, and ten minutes later got our skewer. The meat was cold. At the end they brought as a cheque with the starters we had cancelled included. Service is outstanding

Review 53：Nothing really. Standard scandinavian 3-stars hotel like many many others

Review 54：1) There was a huge construction site next to the hotel. Due to that, arrival to the hotel was slightly complicated, there were no signs either. But this should be over by July 2013, if I understood correct.2) Parking is a serious problem in this hotel, like in whole Tapiola. Overnight in the nearby parking hall is 33 euros, although the hotel has a special price 17 euros. But on a suburb it is a rip off, especially when you basically need the car when staying this far from restaurants. 3) Limited selection of restaurants (and shops) around. The restaurant in the hotel is a chain-operation, two other decent options are a turkish and a japanese 5 min walk away. The shopping center is an ugly 1970's Sovjet style concrete complex in bad shape. Not recommended. 4) I also experienced the first fire alarm during my stays (100+ a year) in hotels. The recorded message was clear and informative, but no one bothered to announce when the situation was over. The tape was just turned off and you had to guess it. Extremely unprofessional.
