Reviews for Hotel del Pastor

Review 1:Trying to drive in town! Would recommend parking and walking, even with luggage.

Review 2:Everything necessary was provided with the minimum of fuss. The town is lovely. We had a very good meal at Casse Pere and very cheap.

Review 3:TV to small (25cm) my laptop was bigger. Shower head water came out like a tap not a spray. It said on booking info, parking near by reservation required 9 Euros/day when we arrived they said you have to park outside of the town(free) and we had to carry hand luggage to the hotel some 12 minute walk. However when we booked it did say parking is a problem, It is possible to off load luggage outside hotel but very narrow road and you still have to park outside town.

Review 4:Hotel was ideal for viewing the village and had a nice view.

Review 5:Did not realise that we could drive car into old town, drop luggage off, then remark car outside old town walls. This could have been explained to us on arrival.

Review 6:lovely personnell - although not fluent in English, we got everything sorted out. The view from the hotel room was great and the room itself was cosy and convenient.

Review 7:If coming by car you need to park on the edge the town as all streets only 1 car width.

Review 8:Beautiful view across the mountains from our window. Lovely old medieval hotel.

Review 9:Only downside was all the steps, but that was part of the charm.

Review 10:After a long and tiring drive, this little oasis in Spain was a delight. The lovely lady who greeted as could'nt have been more helpful. The room/bed was very comfortable. The whole City was very interesting and the people warm and welcoming.

Review 11:No tea making facillity in the Bedroom

Review 12:The Hotel's location in Morella, one street down from the main shoping street which had many restaurants and shops.

Review 13:Maybe it was because we were there out of season but we were looking forward to seeing the castle lit up at night from the road and it wasn't :(

Review 14:The hotel was easy to find.staff were lovely and the views from the room were stunning.

Review 15:Very friendly Staff helpful in finding us somewhere to eat and park with a map. Good breakfast as we were the only people staying in hotel. Would stay again stunning views from room and lovely and warm

Review 16:At Booking.com the facilities list the availability of nearby private parking at a fee. This does not exist. We did find parking in the public area, but that may be difficult during peak season.

Review 17:Convenient location to attractions - all walking distance. Friendly, helpful staff. Could park car in street not too far from the hotel. The WiFi worked even though the signal was weak occasionaly.

Review 18:The bed was slightly uncomfortable but not too bad. There was not enough hot water for us both to shower.

Review 19:Excellent location very close to the centre of town, everything is within easy walking distance. We parked in the communal car park and walked to the hotel. It was not far to walk. The room was warm as the weather was cold this was lovely. The bathroom was spacious and spotless. There was a large choice of food for the buffet breakfast.

Review 20:No kettle in room to make tea or coffee.

Review 21:A really lovely typical Spanish hotel and it has not been over modernised so has kept its charm and warmth, The owners and staff were so friendly and helpful. We will certainley stay there again.

Review 22:Parking was far and very tight ( suggestion for travelers to pick a smaller that "standard size car").

Review 23:Staff is very friendly ( helps if you speak spanish as when we were there no one at the hotel spoke english) Location is nice ( although all locations are excellent because Morella is very small) Hotel is a bit outdated, but definitely with the charm. Clean

Review 24:Me and my fiancé stayed there for one night at our way from barcelona toward Valencia. Del pastor is a little Cousy hotel located in a nice mountain village. We felt like home because of the friendly environment the staff specially a mother and her little aon created for us. Our room located at third floor had a spectacular view to the valey in from of us and also I wouldn't expect such clean nice place in such remote place.

Review 25:The beautiful hotel looked old, but with new and modern rooms and bathroom. Great view. We loved our stay in Morella and would recommend that stop to anyone looking for a destination in Spain. Give it 2 nights to see the town, cathedral, and castle.

Review 26:very quaint, unbelievable views, very helpful staff

Review 27:Arrived on motorcycles and parking was a challenge, ended up not very close. Hotel staff helpful, nice room and acceptable breakfast, no problems

Review 28:Very comfortable, clean hotel. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent location within the walls with an interesting view.

Review 29:The staff were outstanding. They had little English but were very helpful to us.

Review 30:Bit of a walk to the car park but no cars is part of the charm of the place

Review 31:Fantastic location

Review 32:everything was perfect - we could not fault anything The most difficult thing was getting the sat nav to locate the hotel

Review 33:Breakfast was simple, but we have no complaints.

Review 34:Nice, simple hotel in the centre of town. Good value for money

Review 35:far from the parking

Review 36:very helpful and pollite receptionist

Review 37:Everything.the location was perfect.Very clean,Good choice of breakfast.Could'nt have wished for more in this charming town.

Review 38:No lift had to walk up 2 stairways. Not good for over 70's.

Review 39:Nice large bedroom.

Review 40:Lovely typically Spanish hotel. Spotlessly clean, friendly staff. Excellent location for visiting the sites, shops and restaurants.

Review 41:Mothing

Review 42:We loved the location which was a great base for visiting Spanish villages. There were also some great restaurants nearby.

Review 43:not staying long enough

Review 44:everything

Review 45:Nothing. Would go again.

Review 46:View from the window was superb. Very good accommodations. Breakfast was very good.

Review 47:Miniscule telly with no international channels. Beds are hard, a mini-bar would be nice for this price level as would a cooked breakfast. Staff were helpful but communication was difficult as they only spoke Spanish.

Review 48:Hotel in a quiet location, good views of the countryside from the rooms at the rear of the hotel, secure garage parking.

Review 49:Breakfast and the dining room somewhat limited, but adequate enough.

Review 50:The room was fantastic, right at the top of the hotel with an amazing private terrace overlooking the extraordinary landscape surrounding Morella

Review 51:Even though breakfasts aren't great in hotels around the country, this breakfast was pretty poor and the restaurant felt quite soulless. There wasn't any hot food and the selection was very limited.

Review 52:Great views from the room and a really central location.

Review 53:The Hostess was excellent even getting up early to serve breakfast for our early start. the secure parking was excellent and we dropped off and collected from the Hotel front Door.

Review 54:a little cramped for breakfast with other people dining

Review 55:lovely views from our terrace on the 3rd floor room 302 with table and chairs for an evening drink. Clean rooms an very comfortable. Staff very pleasant and helpful

Review 56:Nothing, really charming in an old world way

Review 57:The big trick is finding it in the windy streets. Do as the locals do -squeeze up To a wall, allowing other cars past. We found parking near the city wall, and in the Plac St Jean, 2 streets down. Friendly staff, good Wi-fi, great views, good breakfast - we mastered this village in half an hour

Review 58:Parking nearby is impossible, so park just inside or outside the wall and carry your luggage in. It's all uphill and you really need a map to find it. The GPS wanted us to take the stairs.

Review 59:Small and stylish hotel. Excellent facilities and friendly staff Fabulous views Excellent breakfast

Review 60:parking is difificult - breakfast quite ordinary

Review 61:Morella is a very intersting town, with the customary castle on top, and within driving range of other interesting sites

Review 62:Not a problem for us and I personally would not like to think of a lift being installed in what is a lovely old building so am pleased a lift is not there, but if you were given a room on the top floor as we were and you had difficulty carrying bags up a number of stairs or indeed didn't wish to climb up and down stairs to go in and out of the hotel I would recommend requesting a room on lower floor.

Review 63:Great Location, Morella is a lovely unique place to visit. Hotel was spotless, we were lucky to have been given a delightful spacious room with super bathroom and included an outside balcony/small terrace with a view of the town.

Review 64:Being an ancient village, the roads are extremely narrow and there is only parking on the outskirts of the village. Not a bad thing, just makes it a little more difficult if traveling with large or heavy bags.

Review 65:Beautiful views from our room. Plenty of space to move around, nice big bath room. Excellent and plentiful breakfast included. Hotel is in the heart of Morella, perfect for exploring.

Review 66:Tiny tv in high corner.

Review 67:Delicious breakfast, comfortable spacious room, spectacular view from our bedroom window. Very friendly, helpful staff.

Review 68:Very difficult to reach by car

Review 69:Location is great

Review 70:3 floors and no lift.

Review 71:very quaint surroundings, staff went out of there way to help in many ways.

Review 72:- no wi-fi in the second floor - parking is an issue

Review 73:No lift

Review 74:Location, cleanliness, big room and bathroom.

Review 75:Extremely clean. Beautifull surrondings

Review 76:very small room

Review 77:central location in Morella, view from the balcony

Review 78:hotel location and room with great views across countryside

Review 79:Beds were hard room too hot

Review 80:Staff are very friendly, breakfast was fresh, great location.

Review 81:As a married couple, we would prefer a single large bed to a pair of twin beds.

Review 82:Clean, modern rooms

Review 83:dinning area breakfast presatation

Review 84:room with terrace staff location

Review 85:Fantastic traditional hotel, full of charm and very friendly.
