Review 1：exceptional cleanliness, very helpful staff, the location was good for the bars and restaurants but about a 20 minute walk to the beach which for myself but a little to far perhaps for some.

Review 8：These aren't things to not like, but things to be aware of. There's no breakfast in summer as the breakfast room is very small; parking on the surrounding streets is limited and you'll not want a large car; and it is a walk to the beach... but that's part of the pleasure of staying here, in the old town.

Review 9：This is a lovely hotel in one of the most attractive towns on this part of the Spanish coast. The town itself is worth a visit, since it has a good beach and lacks the grim development typical of Southern Spain. The hotel is on a quiet side street near supermarkets, bars and restaurants and a twenty minute walk to the beach. The welcome was very warm, the property clean (not amazingly clean, I do worry where other reviewers have stayed before!). Highly recommended

Review 10：We were on the second floor and had problems making a WiFi connection. When conected WiFi was slow - had no problems using WiFi in he lobby area.

Review 11：Very good, clean, big modern bathroom - shower only The hostal is located in the center of town about a 20 minute walk from beach You can take a minibus to the beach or up the castillo - costs 1 euro. The buses run about every half hour with a 2 hour siesta break at 2 PM. The last bus runs around 8 PM. I recommend taking the minibus to the Castillo just to see how the driver navigates the narrow streets on the way up or down.

Review 39：The Hostal Jayma is located in the older part of town and the owners were friendly and our room was very comfortable. Salobrena is a quiet seaside town especially in Oct. There are numerous restaurants in town and also along the beachfront. The surrounding countryside was lush with tropical fruit trees - we enjoyed the custard apples.

Review 41：We only Stayed in this Hostel for two nights and it was excellent!. It was cleaner than a 5* Hotel and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Unlike Hotels where you only get WiFi in the lobby you could get a good reception in the room! You could walk to all the bars and the beach was only about 20 minutes away or in a car 5minutes Would definitely recommend this Hostel, we will be staying again!

Review 43：A very pleasant experience. The gentleman in reception was most helpful in all respects. The Hostal is quite far from the beach if you do not have a car but it is possible to walk there in about 25 minutes. free parking around the Hostal was readily available when we were there.

Review 44：The owners were very friendly and helpful. My room was the cleanest hotel room I have ever encountered. The bathroom fittings were modern and the shower was very good. WiFi was good. Salobreña is a lovely town, combining a historic quarter, commercial center and a busy beachfront all within a 20 minute walk. The locals are friendly and it has some nice restaurants and tapas bars. I would highly recommend a visit to this beautiful part of Spain.
