Review 1：In the morning can be a bit busy as you have the same staff managing breakfast and reception - hard to get help

Review 3：Very clean, modern and comfortable rooms with everything just right and the dynamic young team who run everything who were extremely friendly and helpful. I felt I was in safe hands with people who know how to do things and do them with passion. The blend of traditional and modern is skillfully and tastefully done and I was seduced by the hint of kitsch - the Ken and Barbie on the loo doors downstairs ... The hotel has an unbeatable location right in the centre or Clermont and the brasserie attached is always packed - showing it's the place to be in this city. Because the restaurant was always so full, I didn't feel like venturing is as a solo female traveller, but I can also recommend the absolutely delicious and beautifully presented room service meals. I would unreservedly recommend this hotel to anyone, one of the best experiences I have had.

Review 5：Very convenient location, right on the main square, with a tram stop immediately outside the building. There was also car parking available nearby. The Staff were particularly friendly and very helpful, which was most pleasing. The hotel also has a bar and restaurant, which was very useful.

Review 12：The parking situation completely spoilt our arrival. Despite searching online when booking for a property with parking, unfortunately, we forgot to mention that we needed parking on the booking form. The reason perhaps being we were more concerned with highlighting that one of us required gluten free food [coeliac]. Approaching the square we missed the turn for the first carpark and the next 10 minutes were awful trying to get back to it. In the end we parked elsewhere. The receptionist said they cannot advertise/recommend a place to park before arrival but on arrival can and it is discounted. I think really the car parks nearby should be highlighted so guests can choose so they have somewhere to go on arrival. The air conditioning in the room did not work and a hook was hanging off the wall in the bathroom and there was one completely missing in the room. At the bottom of the stairs to our attic room the firedoor was wedged open which we closed only to find it wedged open again in the morning. Our request for gluten free food was printed out and stapled to our booking which we saw on the counter. We were informed there was no gluten free food available and the receptionist herself had been to all the local supermarkets to look as a previous guest with the same dietary requirements had stayed for 10 days! We were not impressed and even less so when we went own to the restaurant for an evening meal. The waiter dashed off when gluten free was mentioned and did not return for at least 15 minutes to take our order. They couldn't do anything but steak or salad for my husband so he choose the best steak at 24 euros. It was terrible and he mentioned this to the waiter as he had left most of it. The waiter said he was sorry but that was all and we had to pay for it. All in all glad we were only staying one night.

Review 19：Location was great!. There was a public parking just 2 mi walking from the hotel. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We were travelling with our two children (4 and 6 years old) and they had their own room next to ours. Both rooms had a plasma TV with few channels. The staff was very pleasant. We left very early in the morning and a young man was already at Reception. He and another lady helped us with our luggage. Everything was very good! They also have a restaurant which it is convenient if you arrive late (It was open until 11pm)

Review 20：The A/C was blasting when I got in, so I had to figure out how to turn it down, which took a little while. Finding parking was ok, but only after my husband walked through the pedestrian area to ask the hotel. It wasn't obvious to someone driving there for the 1st time.

Unable to reach the hotel by car to drop luggage, Have to park in undergroundcar park and drag every piece of luggage to the hotel. No permanent reception staff. Always have to wait to be seen.

The rooms are finished to a high standard, very stylish and rooms overlooking the square (Place Jaude) have good views. The location of the hotel was excellent, right in the centre of the city at the lovely Place Jaude. The theatre is right opposite, the shopping centres are within a 2 minute walk, there are cafes, little boutiques and the cathedral is 5 minute walk. The hotel is also located around the corner from the buses which take you up to the Puy de Dome volcano, which is only a 15 minute ride out of the city.

Review 40：There was very little we didn't like about the hotel. We chose not to have the breakfast as felt it was a little expensive. There was only one tea bag and two coffee capsules in the room, it would have been good to have a few more (although the Nespresso machine was a nice touch).

Review 41：We stayed at Hôtel le Lion to break up a drive from Geneva to Bordeaux. I loved the decor of the hotel and it's quirkiness. Our room was lovely with a very comfortable, large bed and a decent sofa bed for our twins to sleep on. We arrived late afternoon and chose to eat dinner at the restaurant. All of our meals were delicious and some of the best we had on our 10 day holiday. The staff at dinner were also friendly. The very central location of the hotel meant we could easily discover and enjoy Clermont-Ferrand before continuing our journey.

Review 53：The hotel was in a perfect location, right on the square, and with a great restaurant downstairs. The rooms were really comfortable, modern, stylish and clean. We arrived early and the staff were very helpful in letting us check in early and then when we left helped us find our way to the bus for the airport. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
