Review 1：Location was perfect for our purposes, as we were visiting Purullena only ten minutes away. I liked the cafe which was part of the hotel, very handy and great service.
Review 2：My poor Spanish as the staff were very reluctant to speak any other language. Dinner is probably best taken elsewhere.
Review 3：The room was quite OK. There was a very friendly genleman in the reception whom showed us his vintage Seat 850 in mint condition
Review 4：There was a premier league football game on and it took priority throughout the town including the hotel dinning room. The staff could care less, so we had to search for a place to eat. Also no decent breakfast.
Review 5：The facility was good in a very interesting area but, see the dislike section. We would have stayed an extra day to explore the area if the staff had been more of receptive to guests.

Review 14：we stayed at the mari carmen for 1 night en route to jerez the room was clean comfortable the water was hot and the aircon cold the staff where very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them we ate out at night but had breakfast in the hotel cafeteria two huge tostadas with tomato plus two coffees only 3euro 60 cents the hotel is on the outskirts of guadix but only 10 mins walk to center
