Located within the Cabo de Gata nature park, this traditional rural hotel provides a charming and peaceful setting for your relaxing break in the sun.
Los Malenos is surrounded by an estate of over 17 acres of tranquil Andalusian countryside. Its whitewashed buildings are all built in the traditional style, designed to protect them from the heat and wind. Cool yourself off from the warm southern sunshine with a dip in the hotel’s outdoor swimming pool.
All rooms are built around 3 courtyards with fountains, giving you a taste of traditional Spain. Each one opens onto a terrace, and features central heating powered by solar panels.
Los Malenos provides a breakfast service each morning. Evening meals are available, subject to request at breakfast time.

Review 1：Only one thing (not to do with the hotel) but Booking .com directions!The directions should be as follows. Off the main road take a right turntowards Agua Armarga, about 1.8 Kim's mlles down the road look at a(sort of )crossroads for the sign Los Molinos (not - relais du silence)take a left turn and almost immediately you will see Los Molinos!!!!!!!!

Review 2：It absolutely lived up to its name Relais du Silence. It was a wonderfulrelaxing break. We had been in the area 3 years ago and stayed in alittle hotel not too far away,but this little place beat it hands down!Wonderfully perfect!

Review 4：This hotel was pure tranqulity! It's very beautiful, the staff were so lovely and helpful, breakfast was sublime, the pool was great (and has a fabulous view of the surrounding landscape), the room was cool, well equipped and clean. The hotel restaurant in the evening was also really good and really reasonable. My favourite thing about this hotel was all the nooks and crannies with seats and shade where you can get away and just relax, there are only a few guests and there was a real sense of privacy. The surrounding beaches are wonderful, we had some great snorkelling. I highly recommend this hotel and I would go back in a heartbeat.

Review 6：A fabulous find - and somewhere we will definitely go back to. Wonderful conversion of old buildings which retain character but have all mod cons. Lovely to have a lounge room with a log fire, sofas and open bar to relax in on a cold winter's night. Fantastic power shower to warm you up too. Amazing views, especially the stars at night. Tucked away but actually on the main road so easy to find and very easy to get to Agua Armaga, Rodalquilar and other places nearby. Huge gardens to wander, with well-thought out spaces to sit and relax.

Review 7：The staff were very unhelpful, they didn't give any suggestions to us and did not have any disposability. They were only at the hotel for arrival and departure time. Furthermore the breakfast wasn't as good as commented by other guests, it was pretty poor.

Review 14：The tranquility and the fact that honesty still has a place! Guests could help themselves to drinks, coffee and tea and leave the appropriate amount listed! A rare quality nowadays! Staff were very pleasant and polite. Loved all of the little areas to sit and do nothing.

Review 15：We were happy to eat in the hotel so as not to have to drive to arestaurant (none nearby) and didn't mind that the food was not thatgreat but they do charge you restaurant prices (€20 per person, €17 fora bottle of wine) and then to rub salt into the wound charged 10% taxonto the quoted price at checkout. This was the only hotel on our tripwho added tax onto the price quoted in Booking.com. It doesn't addmuch in the grand scheme of things but does leave a sour taste.

Review 16：The location and layout is very nice although next time I would stay alittle further south and nearer the beach where the scenery is nicer.

Review 17：No air conditioning, and whilst the rooms are laid out to be within small courtyards and providing small semi private areas, we found there was a lot of noise from other rooms. We found there were a lot of flies around the relaxation areas we visited.

Review 21：I ordered a dinner at the hotel. I had no choice about my food andgot some microwave standard soup than a small portion of pork andrice for 20 euros... At breakfast the boiler was not clean! Comparedto other hotels in Spain, this one is far too expensive for the poorservice offered.

Review 23：So quiet. You can really get away from it all here. The hotel staff areextremely friendly and helpful and add to the already welcoming andrelaxing vibe about the place. The rooms are beautiful and the groundsare large, so there are a number of places other than your room to relaxin. The pool is set away from the hotel so it's secluded and wouldn'tdisturb anyone wanting peace and quiet on their terrace. The eveningmeal and breakfast were of a very high standard. I was worried it wouldbe a little too remote or hard to find but it really is only a shortdrive into Agua Amarga town from here.
