Hotel Lasaretti sells fast on our site. This quiet, riverside hotel is one mile from Oulu Station’s buses and trains. It offers free Wi-Fi, free gym access and award-winning Finnish food. All rooms have a flat-screen TV.
Lasaretti Restaurant received a Chaîne des Rôtisseurs award in 2007. It uses locally produced and organic ingredients in many dishes. Northern Finnish lamb and reindeer are particular specialties.

Review 1：I left early in the morning for my plane. There was no personnel at the desk, just as my taxi appeared somebody appeared and wanted me to pay of the room.

Review 2：Good for the meeting and excellent food in the restaurant.

Review 3：At a business dinner at the hotel's restaurant I've asked for a special diet food and I was served directly the opposite thing. I had to notice it myself, leave the table to explain my request to the waiter once again and then wait for my food to be changed, that has spoiled my experience a bit.

Review 9：Stayed at this hotel in the winter is not the first time. Happy with everything, especially the location of the hotel, parking and rooms. Breakfast is not rich, but for one night is good.

Review 10：No shampoo, or body lotion in the room. Only one hand towel and bath towel are provided, no additional tower for drying the hair. Toothbrush and toothpaste are provided for 5,5 euros, which is complementary in many hotels.

Review 42：We came very late. The employee did not tell whether there is lift to our room level, but asked us to carry our staff, and we had a lot of that. When we left the lift was broken :(

Review 43：The hotel was close to the train station and the surroundings were pretty especially with the freshly fallen snow. The receptionist, Anne W. was very friendly, pleasant and helpful. The hotel is quite nice and my room was very cozy. The bed is comfortable and everything was very clean. There is a variety for breakfast and the duck (with fresh thyme) I was served at dinner with the parsnip puree and caramelized beets was a spectacular meal. Dinner was expensive but the quality and flavours were wonderful. It was well worth it!

Review 44：1. It is not possible to regulate the temperature in the room. Others decide what temperature you have to enjoy... 2. There is no electric water heater (electric kettle) in the room (for making tea or coffee). 3. It would have been great to have possibility to use swimming pool... But that was arranged in a different way. We stayed only for a night here, we came late evening and decided to have a relaxing swimming next morning... The swimming pool was closed because of a private event and it was forgotten to inform us about it... 4. Lack of English language signs... The Finnish language is a fantastic one but only Finnish people understand it... 5. These things are not so "big" and if Lasaretti would be a hotel with no starts, or it would have one or two stars, I would have not written about these. But Lasaretti is mentioned as a four-star hotel and these problems are very important "nuances" for those stars... These questions could not have appeared... Especially for that price...

Review 46：The area the hotel is in didn't seem very inviting, but we were only there for a few hours before retiring. The room lacked proper ventilation. There was no fan or air conditioning.

I did have some dehydrated food with me and the staff kindly boiled me some water however it would have been preferable to have a kettle in the room.
